Sep 14, 2011My os is win 7 ultimate, i try to down load and save or run, and soon as download is complete it say's there is a virus and deletes.Anybody got any ideas what going on.I have two computers same os, doing same thing

May 24, 2011All of the sudden my internet disconnected and stopped working. It says Windows was unable to connect to _____ (connection). I also get a Spybot SD notification saying Winlogon Notifiers Value deleted igfxcui. Not sure if that's related. I'm on another computer thats perfectly connected to this internet. I tried system restore twice. I Ran Malwarebytes, Spybot SD - no results. I also recently downloaded Berry Extract (for blackberries). Not sure what to do.

Oct 17, 2012I install Microsoft My private folder program. I upload in there documents and photos. One day my Kaspersky note me that inside program are virus. And all my files recognize as virus. I just think in that time maybe I install bad program and in there is virus. I remember that virus was: $e. So I just done mistake and delete them. After that I open folder and all my photos and documents was damage.
Kaspersky not have option BackUp my deleted virus. I try Restore point and no luck. So what I use Recovery programs. I try 3. But only from one I get files back. So my question is, can I recover my files with program or with other option? Or This is it and I not have any option recover? Here is one photo how look recovered files. And two files I give in here.
Doesn't Seem To Be An Option To Change All Of Contained Applications To XP Compatible
Mar 9, 2011I have no choice but to try and load a program onto my Windows 7 machine that only has WinXP compatibility (well not 64-bit Windows 7 anyway) It is Samsung PC Studio for what that is worth.So my plan is to load it in XP compatible mode . The thing is there sem to be 2 parts to the program .1 is the program as such and the 2nd part is the usb drivers. I understand the procedure is to find the application file ,go to the compatibility tab and select WinXP.So my question is how do I know which are the right applications to change in this way? When I go into the folders there are quite a lot different ones . Is it really as painstaking as it seems ? I don't think when I just load the CD I am given an option to load in XP mode and when I click on the CD itself there doesn't seem to be an option to change all of the contained applications to XP compatible. Again I think I may be able to run the whole Win 7 operating system as WinXP but this seems like overkill

Aug 15, 2012I recently downloaded Microsoft Security Essentials and now I think I have some sort of virus. Within minutes of logging onto my computer, a message keeps popping up that there is a critical error and that the computer will restart within one minute. I have tried to do anything I possibly can to get rid of this issue! It does the same thing while booting up in safemode as well. I also tried to restore my computer to a previous date before this occurred, and it still keeps happening. I figured i'd try to restore it to factory settings also, but it does not give me the option while booting up (f11), or on my control panel. I also tried using the TDSSkiller but my computer reboots before the scanning/fixing finishes.

Feb 13, 2013I am now struggling with a virus that seems to have imbedded itself in my windows 7 system.I tend not to use it too regularly but the boyfriend does use it to play games in Facebook. I am running a Norton antivirus which has been pretty good up till now. Nov 14, 2011i built a sandy bridge computer 5 months ago and it worked out great. however today (more specifically this night), i am getting a werfault error when i try to run my calculator (calc.exe). bare with me because this is off the top of my head. the error says something like cannot find reference in *memory address* then gives me another error saying that calc.exe couldnt start correctly.
my first initial thought is that i should run memtest and what not. but i wanted to try to do a system restore first to see if it clears up anything. however, i am prevented from restoring my computer. i would run it and select a date and confirm the restart but then it comes back with system restore has failed/errored. so i am thinking it could be a virus that deleted something important and prevented me from restoring my computer.not sure if these things indicate something else, but i have also encountered "video driver stopped responding and has recovered". in addition, my task bar has been changing from windows 7 theme to a windows 98 type bar and back.
