Nov 26, 2012Have a husqvarna Viking platium 955E series embroidery machine. Bought a new computer Windows 7 and I can't install reader/writer. I need a patch or driver for the windows 7.

Nov 18, 2012I have a Lenovo H215 Desktop computer (AMD CPU, Win 7 64 bit) purchased in 2010 upon which I have never been able to get a download of th ADOBE reader for PDF files to successfully install.I downloaded and saved the free reader download directly from the ADOBE website. I have installed this reader on my other Win 7 64 bit computers.On this Lenevo computer I get the User Account Control dialogue panel asking if I want the program to change my system then when I respond nothing happens. No error messages, nothing. I run the install as adminstrator.I have un installed all other applications on the system and run CCleaner with the same lack of results.

I am saying that bios does not detect my external hard drive, but only my original dvd- rom.And as i said, windows detects it easily , but not Bios !

Mar 9, 2010I have the same problem with my samsung dvd writer.First i use winxp no problem at that time my writer works fine , After i moved to win 7 but at that time no problem it is working fine read and write both cd and dvd.
But in before one week it does not read any cd or dvd (which burn by that writer) .when i insert a cd or dvd it start and when i go to windows explorer it display (in win 7) progress bar that it is reading.After complete the progress bar when i click on dvd rom icon and click open then dvd or cv will eject and display error message insert disc to rom .(i have used this writter 18 months ,but not hardly used)

Apr 27, 2012On my PC there is a card reader connected. It shows up as 4 different drives when I look at "My Computer" and elsewhere. One of the slots in the reader is for sim cards. When a sim card is inserted a Windows sound is heard and the "Installing Device Driver" window shows up and then another window stating the installation was not successful. Any further action from within windows does not solve the problem. I tried an external card reader and the same negative results. this was tried with 3 different sim cards.

Feb 2, 2010I recently started having problems on two computers that both run Win 7 64-bit. The problem is that when opening a PDF file I get this box indicating to choose these options and then there is a check box to not ask me about it again. If I check it off, it goes away.Then when I try to close the tab that houses the PDF file, it will crash IE with acroread.dll being the culprit.What happens next is that if I try to read another PDF, the same box that I already told not to come up again will come back. It seems like it isn't getting the proper permissions to hold this setting. I found a fix via Google that said to just open up the Reader program and check off the box there -- that fixed the pop up box problem.The remaining problem is that gardless of if I update to the latest version of either program, I continue to have IE's tab crash whenever I close the tab that houses the PDF file.

Dec 5, 2011I have some perfectly good USB flash-card readers from Transcend. They work just great on my XP office machine, and on my home machine if I dig out my XP boot drive and boot XP. But Win7 can't use flash in this device. Disk Management shows the correct size but can't show Properties; no drive letter is assigned, and I can't see the drives. They all work just find under XP.
I hesitate to go buy another brand of reader; USB is supposed to be plug-and-play.
