View 7 Replies View RelatedOk this is wierd I have a client using Office 2007 pro and some of her docs that she recently updated and the problem is when she prints the docs text that she deleted is printing over the top of new text she inserted into the doc.
Now when you have said doc open in WORD the deleted text is not there in any view and does NOT show in "print preview".
I opened said doc with WORDPAD and the deleted text shows up at the bottom so its still in the word doc somewhere imbedded so it prints over the top of the actual text in the doc.
I have a project where I need to search a large amount of text files on my home PC. I recently upgraded from Windows XP to Windows 7. My research indicated this feature was available in Windows 7.
If you do a search in Windows XP, you get a bunch of fields. You can pick to search for text INSIDE the particular sub folder structure.
I have found this feature in Windows 7, but it is different. I have tried using wild cards but it does not seem to work properly.
How do I insert my pictures inside the text or beside the text so it won't use so much space?

View 2 Replies View RelatedAll of the sudden, when I want to copy and paste something in the same document, the formatted text (whether that be a certain font or bold) does not transfer over to the pasted text. For instance, if I wanted to copy the following bolded word word and then paste it anywhere else in the document, I now get this: word (without the bold). This applies to other cutting and pasting problems: this applies to other fonts and formatting (bold, my Greek font, etc).One more example: before today, if I wanted to cut a text out of my New Testament Greek program right in the middle of a paragraph, the Greek font (or whatever font) would paste normally no matter what font the target MS Word text was in.

I am saying that bios does not detect my external hard drive, but only my original dvd- rom.And as i said, windows detects it easily , but not Bios !

But in before one week it does not read any cd or dvd (which burn by that writer) .when i insert a cd or dvd it start and when i go to windows explorer it display (in win 7) progress bar that it is reading.After complete the progress bar when i click on dvd rom icon and click open then dvd or cv will eject and display error message insert disc to rom .(i have used this writter 18 months ,but not hardly used)

View 6 Replies View RelatedStrange problem about a month ago maybe once every 4 to 10 days the PC boots up and all the characters are strange, instead of the usual alpabet they are spercial characters. I do a system restore and all is fine. If anyone has any thoughts on this as how to solve this short of reloading windows. I included a screen shot to help with understanding what happens.
View 4 Replies View Relatednew win 7 install. Tried to move special folder from ssd to hdd.Create a new folder on the hdd with the name of the profile. I then assumed when moving folder into it they will be automatically created-> moved "downloads" folder first and selected that above folder without creating a "downloads" folder in that one and select that one. I realized something went wrong and wanted to move it back. On moving it back i made the same mistake, so the whole user profile folder is now the download folder and it is called "downloads" and not after the user name. However right-click does not work on that one. Can't change the path or move it.

I have some files that start with the Greek letter t I don't seem to find a way to make WS recognize characters like these for searches. When I type get no results at all. I have already tried with the advanced query filename:without getting any results.When I use Total Commander for searching for et all the results I am looking for, and I know that all these files are included in the Windows Search Index because they can be found if using some other parts of the file name, like for example searching for torrent it finds files with the name torrent.

Now I can't restore it to it's default location because the system tries to copy system volume information and other system folders with it.How do I go about this? Password that used to work flawlessly in weeks I have had it in use though until today after coming back from my morning routine, to boot the system, to find out every time I try to write "'" to complete the password properly, it instead adds another black dot to the input field in which case the form ends like: Kar'as1990 instead.
The keyboard isn't Spanish though configured, to international English, so to give me the special character without a problem. To throw as well, I had some virus attack yesterday; but swept them immediately. Nevertheless, I don't know if that have something to do with the keyboard no properly writing the a with the accent I'm seeking it to input.
I figured out how to do the French characters such as or , but i can't figure out the shortcuts for things such as or , even though the keyboard has buttons for them.
