Aug 30, 2011Every now and then the internet will stop working on my PCs. I have 2 near me at all times and both will stop working, a wireless lappy and wired desky lol.It will come back in a moment or in a little while. I havent figured out if its the router or the cable modem.

Aug 12, 2011I have bought an Acer Aspire One a751h with an integrated 3G modem. I received it with a fresh install of Windows 7 and I cannot get the integrated 3G modem to work. I click on the Acer internet manager and it says the modem is not found. The 3g switches on fine and it's lit up so all ready to use but it cannot find the modem. What I need to install and add instructions on what I need to do because I've downloaded several drivers to try and none have worked, although I must admit I'm not sure what to do once they are extracted from a zip file?
The info on the side of the box is as follows:-

Aug 17, 2011I have a Netgear Adsl2 modem / Router with 4 ports in the rear.The two computers are going to be next to each other and I was just planning on plugging the new PC into the back of the netgear modem to have internet access on both along with the original PC for internet access. NP there.Is it now possible to have the two PC's connected to each other throught the Router/modem to share files and for my children to play games against each other...I.E home network with 2 pc's talking to each other through the net gear modem/router? Both machines only have the one Lan input (I'm pretty sure)Both running windows 7 (one 32bit and the other 64 bit)

Sep 24, 2012I have successfully connected my two Windows7 machines via local network (Ethernet) - it worked automatically, no setup was needed. Everything is fine, for example I'm able to use a share mouse utility via the local network and control both computers with the same mouse. However once the network is swtiched on, my stick modem mobile 3G internet connection is shut down (the browser reports DNS name not resolved error). If I turn off the router the internet connection immediately returns. I tried to disable the firewall but to no avail.

Aug 22, 2012I recently purchased a small usb fax modem from ebay. It is a simple device, with a usb connector on one end, and a receptacle for a telephone line on the other end. So obviously, this is not difficult to "install". But my problem concerns getting the correct drivers installed. The unit came with a mini-cd-rom which has some drivers. But there are no instructions. It also contained a "Read Me" file, but unfortunately this was i Chinese and I couldn't read it.

May 31, 2011I have an Acer Aspire 5740G and for some reason it hasn't allowed me to install my new wireless internet usb stick. I have an older usb stick already installed that I use, but it won't let me install this new one which works fine on my PC.
When I plug in the usb stick it makes that beep beep noise to indicate it detects the device but when I go into my computer the device pops up and then suddenly disappears.
I have my new HP eprint printer installed on my PC however when I plug the usb cable into my laptop after installing the CD it won't connect. This is during the setup when it says "connect usb cable" or whatever - but NOTHING HAPPENS!

The Connection was working about ten days ago and then suddenly stopped and read as an unidentified network no internet access. at one point is was not receiving packets but now it is but it still says no internet access on the IPv4 Connectivity. Media state is also enabled and the speed is 100.0 Mbps when i troubleshoot it says windows cant identify problem but in the details it says default gateway is available. when i use the cmd prompt ipconfig/all my local ethernet adapter has a physical address of all zeros.
