Talking about the Broadcom Bluetooth installer at Broadcom.com - Home. Everything works fine until the Instalshield process. Fails, saying "Device not plugged in" for Bluetooth Peripheral Device and Multimedia Audio Controller. Bluetooth Radios and Human Interface Devices are OK. Do you think my Bluetooth adapter is possibly just too old? It is a Belkin F8T012. Broadcom.com - Home doesn't offer support.

Just bought this laptop (Dell Inspiron N5110) few months ago, since yest. after rebooting the laptop, am NO longer can access second partition (D), Windows management tool says -> RAW mode. plus, he become so slow, it takes him like 20 min. to load desktop. Partition C is still reachable, browse, open soft. etc.Dell diagnostic boot tool, found an error on HD "error code 2000-0142".I prefer not to format the hard disk, I have important project stuff related to my work on the second partition. and yes, am a real jackass I didnt make any BACKUP of the data, so am quite lost here..

If you have a network adapter, you will need to re-install the driver. This is funny though because my network was working find but there was this issue with my laptop (Windows 7 Home Premium OA 32 bits) and I repaired and now the problem is gone but now I have the problem with my network. What do I do?

I have a usb network adapter and the driver files are on a flash drive. On XP, I just selected search in this location and selected the driver folder. I cant figure out how to do that in 7. I have the flash drive plugged in and the adapter too but when it searches it can't find the driver folders and i can't find a way to direct it to them.

After a clean install on a new ssd I'm trying to get my network adapter to work. I put the driver files from the site onto a USB stick, went to devices> properties and then tried to install the drivers fro a file. Unfortunately, Win7 says there are no drivers found. On my laptop, WinZip keeps failing to extract the drivers from the ZIP. (Onboard Intel HD 3000, and Nvidia GF-GT525)I installed new windows and download lasted update for both graphic card. first install for Intel HD 3000 and then Nvidia GF-525 But now problem is for second graphic nvidia gf525. in device manager it's ok and installed! but when System Rating detect Intel HD. why?Also i open cpuz programs in menu graphic just see Intel HD and don't see Nvidia GF-525

my brother's hdd in his laptop was going bad, it kept failing to boot. so i replaced it with another one. when i turned the laptop back on it started installing all the drivers for his hardware (windows was already installed on the 2nd hdd) and prompted me to reboot. after i did windows failed to start several times. i re-installed windows from scratch, and now his graphics card isn't showing up in device manager and windows cant find a driver for the network or ethernet card.

I'm trying to share an Internet connection via bluetooth.

The host: HP 8740w laptop running Windows 7 Enterprise x64 Connected to the Internet via Local Area Connection (wired) The client: Asus Transformer tablet

I have a bluetooth PAN setup and the devices are communicating properly. They both have IPs in the 192.168.44.x range, can ping each other, and I can use a Remote Desktop client on the tablet to control the PC.

The last piece I'm missing is giving the tablet access to the PCs Internet connection. I go into Network and Sharing Center, click Change Adapter Settings, and open the properties of Local Area Connection. On the Sharing tab, I check Allow other network users to connect through this computer's Internet connection. I then click the Home Network Connection dropdown, and Bluetooth Network Adapter is not listed. I see others, including my wireless card, VMware virtual adapters, VPN adapters, etc..

I've looked at the Bluetooth Network Adapter's properties, and it doesn't seem to be missing any protocols that the other adapters have. It's enabled, connected, and working fine locally. Is there a registry hack or something that I have to do to make it show up in the ICS list?
