Saving Pictures To Personal Folder On Windows 7?
Oct 27, 2012I'm having a problem saving pictures to my personal folder with Windows 7. I never had a problem with Vista solftware. I was given options as to where I wanted to save the pictures. I'm not able to do this with my new computer since the name of the folder doesn't come up.

Jun 6, 2012I have windows 7 and when I purchased it I had no clue about computer share and logging into your own computer.I didn't realize if I had a computer you would have to have permission to access your files.Now that I am stuck with windows 7 and I don't have permission to access files such as Documents and Settings (the little gold lock) I want a computer that is MINE alone and I don't have to ask permission to do anything.I have been through all the steps as Administrator, system recovery, reinstalling windows and I am always locked out of system? files.The first 2 steps setting up the system is country/language, which is understandable then Name and Password.What do I need to skip Name and Password, not being or sharing with any users or owner or administrator. Just turn on my computer, it opens to the desktop and go to work.Is there any way to have this luxury? I think it is called a standalone PC? It doesn't look like any of the windows 7 can be like this so what can I do without buying a new computer or is that not an option??

Sep 11, 2011Some of my important system files are no longer hidden and I can't hide them even with the Command Prompt "attrib" command. Files such as bootmgr and ntldr are shown and I can't hide them. Also, show Protected System files is unchecked and show hidden files is also unchecked so they shouldn't be showing. I tried to re-add their system file attribute but I keep getting an "Access Denied" error in CMD and I do not have user account control on and I'm on a Default Administrator Account.

May 23, 2011I imported my photos from my SDCard to my PC using Picasa 3, and everything was going smoothly... until I tried to take a look at the photos! all of the photos that I've imported using this method for some reason all became greyed out! Viewing them on Picasa3, all you can see is a grey rectangle, in place of the photos. However, when using the windows explorer folder, i can see that the photos were imported correctly (it's not just a grey box, but the actual photos), but when I try to open it (using any program: Paint, Picasa3, etc), it is still a grey rectangle instead of the photos. I tried to upload the image and send it via email, and I get the same result.In my mistake, I chose to "delete the uploaded photos after uploading" option..it's my vacation photos from Croatia I'm not sure if there were any errors when I imported it... i stepped out for a bit while I was waiting for it to import. I looked around my SD card, and looked at the "Lost.dir" folder, and copied all of what's in there.I did use Glarysoft to recover the images, and I'm using a Windows 7 laptop as my computer. Also, are there other alternatives? I did save the lost.dir with all of the photo files in it, both in my SD Card, and on my laptop.

Why does Microsoft say in their license terms that you can't use an OEM license for personal use, but they sell it through third parties (Amazon and Newegg) and they know that ordinary people are going to buy these OEM copies. If Windows Activation goes through with it then it must be fine, right?Also, I kind of mentioned this already, but why would they sell it through third parties if they CLEARLY know that any average personcould come across it and buy it.
