i installed the comodo firewall and decided to delete it. So i clicked on the delete button and if type in 'comodo' into my home windows for any files nothing comes up. So i thought it was gone. But when i was playing an online game the comodo firewall popped up asking if wanted to allow it to connect to the internet. How can i actually delete Comodo!?

i ran kapersky for a few days, but was fedup with the mass onslaught of program access queries.
i am having a slight problem with the firewall side of comodo: i know that it works when i can the 'stop activity' button and it shuts everything down, but when running leak test, the firewall does not respond, i have it on safe mode.
the incoming/outgoing monitor also shows no connections, could this be the problem? the program not communicating with windows correctly?
Is COMODO firewall compatible with windows 7?

View 3 Replies View RelatedJust started setting up my backups with Comodo but suddenly realized that seemingly no name is associated with a backup. In my case I trying to create the following backups:
1. critical files: full/each-Sun
2. critical files: Inc/daily
3. studio files: full/1st-each-month
4. studio files: Inc/each-Sat
5. resource files: full/15-each-month
and so on...
But is it possible to create multiple backups using Comodo?? Or, am I just changing the full and Inc backups over and over again!How, for instance, can I check and/or change my 'critical files' backup?I have almost a T-Byte of data (I do 3D animation) which is why I like to breakup my backups.
I have 2 internal HDD drives, a 1 Tb master "C" drive and another for media which is named "Z" drive. I have a number of files that appeared on my Z drive that I cant really account for. I downloaded and installed Comodo backup free edition and that is all I've done out of the ordinary since the files appeared. I uninstalled Comodo but the files are still there.

Anyway, I tried running the command "sfc /snannow" in the command prompt (in admin mode) but to no avail even after I restarted the system. Also, I can no longer create a system restore point manually. Which when clicked "create a restore point", they will show me these errors.

I need to replace a W2K computer on a domain with a Windows 7 computer(laptop), but I want to keep the same computer name.I need the ip, username, profile to stay the same. Can I delete the computer from the domain and name the new computer that name I deleted and still keep the users profile on the new machine, as if it was the old one?

View 5 Replies View RelatedI have a 6 month old HP Pavilion dv6.When I was partitioning the hard drive, some error occurred and the process got interrupted( this was after the 'shrink the primary partition'0 step). Disk Management Window didn't show any new partition, so I went on and created two new partitions, but afterwards, I can see an extra partition in My Computer. No info like disk capcity etc., visible; It just has the name 'Local Disk (Q)'. I tried running Disk Management again to get rid of it, but it's not shown in the Disk Management listing. now ive got my old drive set up, and the files i want have all been nicely put in a KEEP folder, i want to delete everything else on the drive , ie.. the old windows directory, the program files directory etc etc .... but .. you guessed it ... there locked, and its prooving a tad annoying to delete them one by one using an unlocker programme...
