Apr 21, 2012I've been looking through my event logs and keep seeing this event happening. It is just a Warning but I have a lot of the on this system. ID 4001. How to repair it.

WiFi Turns Off And Laptop Freezes With Event IDs 7034 And 4001
Jan 3, 2013i have a hp pavilion dv6 6123cl with windows 7 home premium. since last week, it crashes randomly and the led that indicates whether wifi is on which is on f12 button turns red (wifi off). it has happened surfing on the web (in mozilla firefox) watching Internet videos or playing games with wifi on. after the laptop freezes, i turned it off with the power button, turn it on and the wifi does not reconnect.
only if i turn it off and leave the laptop for say, half an hour and then turn it on, then wifi is able to connect. i have been looking at event viewer near the time of the freezes and there's an error that indicates that a service called trueservices stops with event id 7034. also there is a warning that 'wlan autoconfig service has successfully stopped' with event id 4001. i am quite newbie with windows 7.

and i think its to do with my wireless card, i have disabled it from adapter. at least i think this is what it is.also i keeps getting this one as well event id 315 The print spooler failed to share printer HP Photosmart 2570 series with shared resource name HP Photosmart 2570 series. Error 2114. The printer cannot be used by others on the network. this is my printer but i do not have it connected all the time i pack it away when am not using it.
BSOD Reoccurring But Not Ineducable?
Dec 19, 2012for a few days now I get repeatedly a BSOD out of nowhere, sometimes when the PC is idling, sometimes in mid-game.I followed usasma's guide to read the minidump and attached the info below. I have several minidumps the refer to different processes. This one mentions chrome.exe, others mention system or other processes.Some background on this one:Two weeks ago my CPU fan broke which I realised when the PC shut down while gaming to prevent CPU overheating. I got a new fan and installed it. The PC seemed unstable, but didn't crash at that time and I thought it was the old windows 7 that ran for 1.5 years and has seen a lot of installing and uninstalling. Namely origin bothered me with a bug which was caused by the origin servers and not on my side as I later learned. Also the PC didn't boot all the time, sometimes it got stuck after loading the BIOS. When disconnecting my SSD with the OS it loaded the BIOS and waited for a boot medium. My guess was that the SSD's partition table got damaged due to the power out when the CPU was too hot, so I wiped the SSD with a tool provided by OCZ and flashed a new firmware. I also updated the Motherboard's firmware. I reinstalled windows on the wiped SSD and could now boot properly. But soon I got the first crashes, without BSODs at first, just a glitchy pattern all over the monitor, the sound being played at the moment holding and then a reboot. I swapped my RAM for an older RAM I had and after that, I got BSOD when the crashes occured. This is the point I am at now. I don't know where to look, if it is a software or a hardware problem. Maybe someone here has some advice on what to do. One time I got a strange glitch which is shown in the video attached to this post. It only happened a single time and has not returned. WHEA-Logger Event 18/19 Errors In Event Viewer (Windows 7 Home Premium)?
Jan 24, 2012Basically my laptop has been having very high temperatures for a long time (usually ~60C for CPU and often 100-110 for GPU...insanely high, in other words) For example, see how hot the machine gets just by resuming from a sleep (this is all within a minute or so):I have been seeing the following error in event viewer each time I start Windows (4 entries) for some time:So today I bit the bullet and had the back cover off the laptop and noticed what a bad state the thermal compound was in, for both the CPU and the chipset chip, so wiped it off using TIM Cleaner, and then applied new thermal compound and put the laptop back together. I was actually shocked because for the first time since I can remember, I could feel cold air blowing from the vents of my laptop! I logged into Windows and noticed that my temperatures had fallen and were staying at around the below:Not as low as I'd like but a massive improvement. Trouble is, I am still getting the WHEA-Logger event errors in Windows Event Viewer ('processor core') and wondered if this was not in regards to overheating after all?The plus side is my laptop is now almost totally silent - the way it must have been when I bought it new 3 years ago! But I was wondering how to investigate these WHEA-Logger errors?PS - I think I accidentally got some TIM Cleaner spilt on the carpet. Might be nothing to worry about, but I did notice the "Harmful" hazard symbol on the bottle?

Jun 4, 2012i bought this PC 2 years ago, i experienced a bluescreen now and then but at this time i didnt really care to look into it, as i didnt know much about PC`s Anyways, since about 2 months i bluescreen almost every second day.99% of the time i bluescreen while playing a game. (Such as TF2).I can tell when i am about to bluescreen, the sound starts to "crackle", with every third crackle i experience a little bit of a short lag (i would even say, its like a really short freezing but only just a milisecond). I ran Memtest and Checkdisk, Harddrive and Memory seem to be fine.My PC is free from malware.I started to read the minidumps out:They always show 2 or 3 different drivers causing the lag.One of them is ALWAYS ntkrnlpa.exe. The other drivers usually differ.Some driver that often shows up too is halmacpi.dll.

Jan 16, 2009Can anyone help with the following errors in event viewer

Reoccurring BSODs With Differing Error Messages
May 28, 2012This computer has been experiencing BSODs with varying messages for quite some time now, and I've replaced most of the hardware components-- processor, motherboard, power supply, memory and video card-- in trying to find the faulty component. Since the newest hardware iteration is still experiencing errors, I'm led to believe the problem lies in the software rather than the hardware. I've attached the Seven Forums folder and updated the system info in my profile to the best of my ability as requested, since this stuff is way above my understanding.

Computer rarely restarts during the time I am using it. It restarts if I leave stuff downloading overnight or if I leave on during the day. I then have to re-install any software I installed the previous time because it says it was shutdown improperly ( CRASHED).
I then check the Event logger and see it has multiple crash reports.

Reoccurring Windows 7 Message - Install AMD Chipset Driver
Dec 17, 2011I have a reoccurring message box about 70% of the time I turn on my computer telling me to install the AMD chipset driver.
1: I have the latest chipset, lan, audio drivers for my motherboard (Asus M4A875TD-V EVO)
2: I also have the latest drivers for my GPU (AMD HD5850) 11.2.
Why would I still get this message about 70% of the time when I turn on my PC?

Event 100 And Event 200 Stuck At Welcome?
Oct 6, 2011Just installed Windows 7 fresh on a new intel 320m 160gb. After i type in my password at the login screen windows hangs for about 15 - 20 seconds on welcome with the moving circle. Total boot time is about 40 - 50 seconds. I've checked the event log and an event 100 and event 200 show up at every boot and shut down but it does not tell me what process is causing this. I've tried a clean re install of windows 7 with a non sp1 and an sp1 disk and get the same results. I used windows boot or starup repair and it said something about an audio device? So i unplugged my Asus xonar but im still getting the same hang time on welcome. So far nothing is plugged in the computer except for mouse keyboard monitor and ethernet cable. I'm on a home network with one computer.The setup is gigabyte z68x ud3h b3 G skill 16gb ram or now 8corsair 800ax psui7 2600kgtx560I've installed plenty of windows 7 on many intel ssd's (mainly x25 m) and this is the first time ive seen this slow of a boot time and its especially odd that it gets hung up on the welcome screen. Startup Repair - Windows Cannot Repair This Computer Automatically
May 11, 2011I am pretty sure that a virus cause this, right before my computer shut down on it's own my anti virus popped up and said that a Trojan was found but I didn't have to do anything. Then the computer shut down and when it restartrd started to load files and then go into startup repair, only it couldn't fix it. I tried a restore, but again it said that the startup files wern't there. I just quickly scanned the diagnostic details and noticed something that said "boot critical file C:CI.dll is corrupt".

Mar 28, 2011ever since I got my new Asus A52J notebook about 3 months ago, it occasionally freezes for everything between 30 seconds and 5 minutes, mostly around 1 or 2minutes. After this happens I find an event with the Event ID 9 in the Event Viewer(The device, DeviceIdeiaStor0, did not respond within the timeout period.). So far this mostly happened when I'm watching a movie(online as well as offline) or playing a game and then mostly in the beginning 1-3 times and after this it was fine for the rest. SO, now I installed Firefox 4 and if I'm running it, I get 10 of these freezes in 30 minutes. Anyway, I downgraded to Firefox 3.6, I found some information about this on some other pages already(The device, DeviceIdeiaStor0, did not respond within the timeout period Solutions Log , Derek Seaman's Blog: Windows 7 Intel SATA/AHCI Lockups and Intel SATA Event ID 9), but nothing helped. By the way, I'm using Windows 7 64 bit Home Premium, the version that was installed on the computer. I attached the reports you ask for in the BSOD posting instructions, even though I'm not having BSOD issues at the moment, might still be some useful information in it.

Sep 2, 2010"Something" is creating empty files ending in ".event" in my folders - they seem to have the name of the directory.
ie if a folder is called "hello" the file would be "hello.event". Anybody know what this is and how do I get them to stop showing up?
