and i think its to do with my wireless card, i have disabled it from adapter. at least i think this is what it is.also i keeps getting this one as well event id 315 The print spooler failed to share printer HP Photosmart 2570 series with shared resource name HP Photosmart 2570 series. Error 2114. The printer cannot be used by others on the network. this is my printer but i do not have it connected all the time i pack it away when am not using it.
since I didn't have any kind of network in my house (I only have one computer) it would be okay to disable my Wireless Network Connection -- 802.11n Wireless LAN Card. I did this and now I notice in my Event Viewer under Custom View > Administrative Events there is an error saying: WLAN Autoconfig Service has successfully stopped. I am curious if this service is connected with my now 'disabled' 802.11n Wireless Lan Card? If so, would there be any problem with 'stopping' it in Services since the Wireless Lan Card is already disabled too?
I'm having problems connecting some devices (android apps) to my computer via my wi-fi. I am usually able to solve the problem by running network diagnostics, but after awhile, I'll start having network connectivity problems again.
Whenever I run diagnostics in these situations, this error is shown in Event Viewer: "WLAN Extensibility Module has stopped. Module Path: C:\Windows\system32\athihvs."
I also receive the error (in event viewer) on a fairly regular basis: "Your computer was not assigned an address from the network (by the DHCP Server) for the Network Card with network address 0x2225D3CC6415. The following error occurred: 0x79. Your computer will continue to try and obtain an address on its own from the network address (DHCP) server."
I have checked, and my router and WLAN card drivers are both up to date. I'm wondering if these errors are what is causing my app to lose connection?
I've been looking through my event logs and keep seeing this event happening. It is just a Warning but I have a lot of the on this system. ID 4001. How to repair it.
i have a hp pavilion dv6 6123cl with windows 7 home premium. since last week, it crashes randomly and the led that indicates whether wifi is on which is on f12 button turns red (wifi off). it has happened surfing on the web (in mozilla firefox) watching Internet videos or playing games with wifi on. after the laptop freezes, i turned it off with the power button, turn it on and the wifi does not reconnect.
only if i turn it off and leave the laptop for say, half an hour and then turn it on, then wifi is able to connect. i have been looking at event viewer near the time of the freezes and there's an error that indicates that a service called trueservices stops with event id 7034. also there is a warning that 'wlan autoconfig service has successfully stopped' with event id 4001. i am quite newbie with windows 7.
This has been popping up in my event log and preplexing me... I want to get rid of it, but don't know what exactly is generating it and wondering if anyone has any insight...

After updating my drivers today I am now getting the following Warning in Event Viewer: 'An error was detected on device DeviceHarddisk0DR0 during a paging operation.' I formatted my hd and did a clean install on Sunday and the warning wasn't there then or soon after. It didn't start to appear until I updated my drivers. I booted up at 5:28 and there are around10 of these warnings at boot up. If so what driver will I need to roll-back? I have an HP p6520y computer.
My wireless connection is dropping anytime I have something downloading, and I mean anything, be it torrents, game clients, anything! The connection is perfect for hours and hours of internet browsing but if I turn on uTorrent or try to download a game off Steam, without fail the connection will drop (usually within a minute), and my wireless card will fail to see any networks at all. I then have to restart my laptop to regain my connection. All drivers are updated, virus scans have been run multiple times. Event Viewer gives me this error:
WLAN Extensibility Module has stopped. Module Path: C:\Windows\system32\athihvs.dll
Why does starting a download cause my connection to crash?
I have had this Display Driver has stopped responding and has recovered successfully error ever since I have purchased my HD 7770. I contacted HIS and they told me to disable ULPS. I have but it still crashes. The speeds of the card have not been touched and temps when Idle are 27-30c.
I cannot even render a video in Sony Vegas Pro without it getting the error. when that happens vegas pro crashes and i must start the render again. other times are in games.
Counter Strike Source crashes when I get the MOTD (message of the day) or I select to buy weapons. if i start the game again its all fine?!?!
I have a 700w CoolerMaster eXtreme Power Plus Catalyst 12.4 (most stable I have tried 12.6) CCC overdrive settings. Core: Default Mem: default Power +20 for extra headroom
Right for a while i've been suffering from a problem where whilst playing certain PC games (i.e. Empire Total War, Battlefield Bad Company 2 & even Spore) the game begins showing black screens followed by a complete crash of the game, me having to ctrl+alt+delete it and be given this message at the bottom right of my PC ("Display Driver nvidia Windows Kernel Mode Driver, Version 301.42 stopped responding and has successfully recovered").
WLAN AutoConfig service gives error 1067 when trying to start it. What I've tried:
Reset winsock settings Ran SFC /scannow Did system restore Uninstalled and reinstalled drivers
I tried all of these in normal mode AND in safe mode. None of it worked. Then i thought the service dll (C:Windowssystem32wlansvc.dll) itself might have been damaged/outdated, so I decided to delete it and put a new one from donor pc. NOPE.It wouldn't give me access to the file. No matter what i tried, safe mode, unlocker tools, auto rename it on startup, doing everything in administrator or even messing with permissions under file properties. It just wouldn't give me access to the file.Wi-Fi was working smoothly few days ago and i literally have no idea why it stopped working.

Started about a week ago. Screen goes blank for a few seconds, screen returns and the message above popped up. Some days, it only happens once or twice, on others, it can happen a good 3-4 times in the span of an hour.
when i gaming suddenly my VGA have error like this "Display driver nvlddmkm stopped responding and has successfully recovered." and the graphic become square square , but after i restart , my gaming and graphic back to normal, is that something wrong with my Hardware? or maybe just have a crash with the Game or application?[CODE]
I have come across the message (from a video card failure) that says "Display driver nvlddmkm stopped responding and has successfully recovered." The solution is to do all of the following steps:
1. Uninstall all video drivers 2. Update your drivers to the latest version 3. Update your bios 4. Try different PCIe/PCI/AGP slots on your motherboard 5. Try different power rails coming from your power supply - make sure your power supply can support your graphics card. 6. Update your version of Direct X 7. Update your chipset drivers 8. Go to your video card settings>advanced settings> and set everything to application controlled 9. Go to your video card settings>advanced manage 3D settings> and turn off vertical sync 10. make sure your card is not overheating 11. Memory can sometimes cause video problems, run a memtest 12.Check out these posts Display driver nvlddmkm stopped responding - Info about TDR and other info [URL]
Set 9 is what fixed my problem. If none of this works reinstall your OS and try all these steps again.
without warning the avast program stopped working, Per their tech support I have to pay $119 to have then clean up my computer so the Avast Pro can work again. Something to do with incompatibility with windows 7 and several broken files on my computer.

I have the problem that the service WLAN Auto-Config isn't started. When I try to start the service manual then the error 1068 appear: "Error 1068: The dependency service or group failed to start." I have tried the three steps of onopko, but this is not working to my computer. On advice of StalkeR I have add the reg files of Black Viper site as Safe as well default. Every time I have restarted my computer after adding the reg files, but both files are resolving me problem.
I am unable to connect to the Internet on wireless home network.I have carried out the following:'Click Start, type services.msc, then press Enter. Scroll down to "WLAN AutoConfig" and right click on it and select Properties. Set it to Automatic and not Disabled, and press the Start button, then click OK.That should start the service.'I received the following message:"Windows could not start Wired AutoConfig Service on local computer.Error 1068: The dependency service or group failed to start."
The whole problem stems from the fact that my Office 2007 icons have magically disappeared, so I tried to run the Office diagnostic tool. But when I did, it mentioned an error about the event log service. I tried to go see if it was started or not, but when I did I realized that it wasn't even there. All of the registry values are present and correct so I don't know what the problem is.
I'm having some problems with event viewer. When I go to open it, it gives me the "Event Log service is unavailable. Verify that the service is running." error. I've tried going through the steps Microsoft gives for creating new log files if yours are corrupted. Problem is, the .evt file doesn't exist.
I've researched the problem a lot and I do have UxStyle Core installed which is patching the files necessary to install third party themes, and I have heard that this may cause some issues with the event log, but everyone I saw undo any patching and even rollback updates, go to previous restore points, etc.
My HP with Windows 7 suddenly gives me the following error message on startup: "Failed to connect to a Windows service: Could not connect to System Event Notification Service." Among other things, this prevents me from connecting to my wireless network, so I can't get on-line. Rebooting doesn't help. And the problem occurs regardless of whether I sign on as administrator or as general user.More: I can't access the Windows Help & Support pages. And I'm told to "see System Events log" for details, but when I try, it says "Event Log Service is unavailable."
Every time I start my computer and log in, an error message pops up when I get to my desktop:Failed to connect to a windows service.Windows could not connect to the System Event Notification Service service. This problem prevents limited users from logging on to the system. As an administrative user, you can review the System Event Log for details about why the service didn't respond.
When I try to run the event log I get the following Event Log service is unavailable. Verify that the service is running. In the services panel it is listed as running. However it is not. I have tried system restore but same issue. I don't know if it could be turned off in the registry or just what would cause this. I think the registry was modified and for some reason I have noticed certain registry entries don't always get restored if you use system restore.
I am using win 7 home basic edition. There was a power failure and could not shut down the system.when i started the system it gave me this error.Windows could not connect to the System Event Notification Service service. This problem prevents limited users from logging on to the system. As an administrative user, you can review the System Event Log for details about why the service didn't respond.i have also booted in safe mode and went to the command prompt in safe mode and did a netsh winsock reset. But still i am getting this error.
I have tried each and every one of the solutions on the forums and over here. All my drivers are up to date (double checked), I rolled back and uninstalled all updates, Did sfc /scannow three times and they passed without any integrity violations. I've tried netsh winsock reset as well. The aero is gone, greyed out plus I can't select any other theme and whenever I start up the computer it displays the message "Could not connect to a Windows service".This started happening about 2 months ago when my laptop ran out of battery in hibernate mode. It didn't resume so I had to press the power button again and then it took about 8 minutes to boot with nothing but a black screen and the mouse there. The audio service isn't running every time I boot up (I have to right click and run troubleshooter to start it). I'm using Windows 7 Ultimate on a Sony Vaio VGN-NW25GF. Intel Duo core T6600 and the ATI Radeon HD Graphics 4570 card.
windows could not connect to the system event notification service this problems prevents standard users from logging on to the system as an administrative user you can review the system event log for details about why the service didn't respond)this is the message I keep getting when I do a restart on my laptop.I went to the component service > services (local)> system event notification.. then I click on the event viewer (locals) it gave an error message.
So recently I had hardware issues, and through warranty I had several replacements done. Mobo, Video cards, ram sticks, and the power supply. After all that was fixed and replaced my computer seemed to have ran fine for a few days, and it still technically is except for this problem. The problem is when I log in into windows normally it takes a while for Windows to boot up. I get a "Please wait" screen, then after a long 4 minute log in once inside windows I get the"Windows could not connect to the system event notification service", and the toolbar is grey all old school windows like.

In services the service is called System event notification, it says that the service is running fine. Even when i try to restart it, it makes no difference at all.
