DreamWeaver Failing To Install "installer Failed To Initialize"?
Sep 23, 2011
I've tried restarting, using the Adobe Cleaner thingy, but nothing seems to be working! I just can't install DreamWeaver because I keep getting the same message:"installer failed to initialize
I have been unable to solve this riddle. It appears tohappen when using web dowloaders, and with me happens only with Cnet Downloads!!! I have even tried going direct with CBS to no avail!
Failed to initialize 3d rendering. What will i do? I speak english bad. More games doesn't open. Standart games too doesn't open.I installed the drivers for my notebook Asus g50vt,and DirectX,but it doesn't help.
I have been receiving this error message 'The application failed to initialize properly (0xc000007b). click ok to terminate the application'. why is this happening? the only cure i found was to reinstall the program but when i restart my computer it happens again.
I've installed the latest drivers for each. When I try to play a game I get the error stated in the thread title. I have also tried deleting and reinstalling the drivers. I've looked on several forums for this error message and possible solutions.
I have been trying to install new Nvidia drivers and I got error message Nvidia Installer failed. I uninstalled the old drivers in hope this would help, but I am getting the same error message again. I tried several fixes from all over the internet but nothing helped me so far.
on each startup/restart/reboot I get a pair of these errors, about 15 seconds apart. System is a P4 desktop, 4GB ram, conventional hdd, windows 7 ulti x64.
The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000142) Click on OK to terminate the application. The only option is to click ok. I am deathly afraid to turn off my computer because my brother recently did and that caused it to freeze at the blue HP startup screen, but thats another thread. I get this error whenever I launch anything. I can't even open up the task manager. I really need help. I don't currently have a way to back up my stuff either but I am working on it. By the way, I don't know that my brother was having the same error message as i was or if he was having any error messages. I use zone alarm full security suite if that helps at all, I don't know if it deleted a registry file or something.
i got a new game (i.e)icc cricket world cup 2011,when i try to play i am getting error as "Failed to initialize direct 3D!make sure you have direct x9 insalled and are running a graphics card that supports pixel shader 1.1"
One of the hard disks suddenly failed to initialized. The first problem I found on this disk was unable to open one of the zip files then the machine crashed. After I restarted the machine the HDD drive was missing from the Computer. My computer has 6 hard drives including the missing one. One is Corsair SSD for the OS and the rest are Samsung, Hitachi and WD all of them are 1TB. When I checked on the Device Manager the Drive is there and the device status is properly working. I checked on the Disk Management and I got a message to Initialize the Disk then I followed the instruction. Again I got an error message " Virtual Disk Manager - The system cannot find the file specified." On the Disk Management windows the status of the Disk is "Unknown 931.51GB Not Initialized- Unallocated". I tried to initialize but the same error I got. I did not name this drive but it named automatically RV 01 and the Location is 0.I use Acronis Disk Director to fix the problem but it cannot change the status to online. What I did last week was I installed some programs to the Drive X instead of Drive C.My computer OS is Windows 7 64bits all the drivers and software are updated.
I downloaded the VMware software to my C: drive, and when I clicked the file to open it, it opened to about 90% at which point I got the following error: Setup cannot continue. The Microsoft Runtime DLL installer failed to complete installation.I have Windows 7 and plenty of HD space. I've never had this installation problem before. It seems that Windows 7 has been a lot of trouble since I've bought this laptop; I've encountered numerous problems with software using it, though I don't know if this problem is related to it.
I'm trying to install Java 7 & I keep getting this error:installer : wrapper.createfile failed with error 5: access is denied?I have uninstalled all previous versions of Java, tried installing as administrator... Nothing is working.
I have just purchased a new Sony VAIO top of the line computer with Windows 7. My Studio MX Suite installed but Dreamweaver won't run. I get the initial start up box but nothing else happens. The other components all run OK. I did look at the program properties and selected XP SP3 which was on my old computer
I am doing some data entry and would like to know if instead of having to hand do every part and make a new template each time if I can just somehow convert the file (PDF) into a html (Dreamweaver) file??
I have gone at least 5 months since I last installed windows updates. I had partially disabled the automatic updates (made it so that it downloads automatically but I choose whether to install them) and have recently decided to install the 101 or so updates that had been downloaded automatically.
About 74 of those updates, but I was able to troubleshoot windows update and so was able to successfully install 30 of those important updates.
The problem now is that I have 44 updates that are downloaded and require a shutdown or restart to be installed. However every time I shutdown or restart my computer I have to wait 5-10 mins for windows to configure the updates and in the end they fail and the changes are reverted.
I've tried troubleshooting again but it did not work. I wonder if these updates are older versions of newer ones I have installed and are therefore failing to install.
why the Windows updates are all failing. The problem started around mid October last Fall. The updates are set for automatic. I have also tried doing manual updates and no luck.On shut down each night the computer downloads the updates successfully, then the computer prepares to shut down and it says "configuring updates" and shows a percentage of completion. Every single time, it gets to 16% then says "installation failed - reverting changes". It then shuts down and reboots and everything seems ok, until the next time I shut down the computer and it tries to install more updates. Rinse, lather, repeat. They were working fine until last October. Since then the odd one shows "successful", but 99% "fail".

I have been trying to Update Adobe Reader for weeks now when asked and kept on getting this error message " Error 1310.Error writing to file:C:\Config.Msi\1658852.rbf. Verify that you have access to that directory " ... Someone told me too just un-install Adobe and re-install but when i tried to re-install a similar error message failed in the install.
Friends "out of the blue" my rock-solid-for-three-years windows 7 Ultimate x64 rig seems to have a permissions issue [I'm guessing]. I went to uninstall a program, and it failed. tried to install a program and it failed. Did windows updates, selected about 10 or so, most installed ok, but three failed. I created a new administrator-level account [the system has only had one in its history, the main/only I have ever used], tried to logon for the first time, and it failed. This system is on a LAN [wifi bridged AP] and is a Homegroup owner, but it is not on a Domain.
After a clean install on a new ssd I'm trying to get my network adapter to work. I put the driver files from the site onto a USB stick, went to devices> properties and then tried to install the drivers fro a file. Unfortunately, Win7 says there are no drivers found. On my laptop, WinZip keeps failing to extract the drivers from the ZIP. I downloaded it here:EDIT: I also tried downloading the file again in case the first got corrupted, but I get the same error each time.I also tried another driver from a product that looked very similair
I bought a refurbed Asus K50IJ-BBZ5 laptop this week. When I log into an administrator account after bootup, it will immediately give me a message about installing new device driver software, then in 20 seconds or so say that the install failed. The failure message specifically says"Device Driver software was not successfully installed.First, my ethernet works fine. I've plugged the laptop into a router and gotten to the internet, lost connection upon unplugging (i.e., it's not a wireless signal that is connecting me), reconnected upon plugging back in. Furthermore, when I have wireless enabled and am not plugged in by ethernet, I connect to the internet fine as well.So my wired and wireless internet access is fine.Third, it shows that specific network adapter working fine. Fourth, when I do try to update the device driver software using the device manager, it tells me that my driver is up to date.So my issue isn't so much with the network adapter/ethernet, since they do what I want them to. My issue is how do I stop the computer from pushing this driver at me?And I have cleaned the computer of most ASUS bloatware, and used msconfig to find what's running at startup, and there's nothing running that I see that is pushing this on me.
I am running Windows 7 Home Premium Home Premium. I cannot install Openoffice.org, I have the message": "You need Windows Installer". This is ridiculous, since I install other software to reverse without any problems.
I have tried several times to install but when it comes to the loading bar, it remains still, still running but the bar does not move. I tried the fix using cmd with the registry but it is still not working
2 days ago, I posted about how my BIOS can't even detect SSD anymore. So we concluded that my SSD was dead. After talking to OCZ tech support, the guy told me to change SATA configuration into ACHI and then my BIOS was able to detect SSD again.
So i thought that the problem was solved, but as soon as windows 7 logo shows up, blue screen pops up for like 0.5 sec, and then restarts the computer. I thought that SSD was working fine, BIOS could detect it, and the only problem is with windows 7 so I decided to put windows 7 disc in dvd drive to format and reinstall. But now, my windows 7 can't detect SSD.
What should I do? Why can't my windows 7 disc detect SSD when my BIOS can. And does this mean my SSD is still alive? [URL]

I have bought a brand new DELL PRECISION T5600 also bought SANDISK 120 gb extreme SATA 3, 6gbs ssd.Now the problem is when i trying to install WINDOWS 7 ultimate version on this SSD . Then windows installer can't find the SATA 3 ssd. but it is working fine at windows 7 . only problem that windows installer can;t find when i trying install the operating system on this SATA 3 ssd. But windows 8 installer can find SATA 3 SSD, very nicely. windows 8 is okey to find this sata during installation.
My Windows Installer won't install anything such as updates and certain programs.I've tried all sorts of fixes found on the internet, but none work and I don't have the windows 7 disc!I am Windows 7 Ultimate SP1 - if I can't get it sorted then I can't install the updates thus at risk when on the internet - not to mention I won't be able to install any software!
