View 2 Replies View RelatedI've updated my ASUS laptop (A52F Series) to Windows 7 Professional 64 bit SP1 and my camera has upside down image. The type of camera is "USB2.0 0.3M UVC WebCam" from Device Manager. I've tried to download the driver from ASUS support side but it didn't help. I searched online and it seems quite a few people had the same issue like me but I couldn't find any solution for it.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a Velocity Micro desktop, it came with XP Media Center 32 bit and has a Core 2 Duo processor and 4 GB of ram, I've been wanting to try 7 for a long time so I bought a new 1TB WD black hard drive and a OEM copy of Win 7 home premium, I removed the old hard drive, installed new drive and proceeded to install Win 7, everything went fine on the install but I can't get it to connect to the internet, it reports error 651 "The modem has reported an error" and then a box pops up that looks like an old dial up connection box with a spot for a name and password and says redial in 45 sec. I'm not on dial up but am on DSL with a new Netgear N router, this computer was connecting fine just before I did the install, if I check Device manager it says the network card is working properly, and I can unhook the network cable from this computer and plug it into an old laptop with no wireless and it connects with the cable and gets 5Mbps speed so nothing is wrong with the cable

View 1 Replies View RelatedI can't open certain programs, as it says that I don't have the correct java, or its not recognized. I've always had java before, and when I tired to update, it was telling me that it either A. Couldn't do it, or B. It wasn't installed for some kind of error. I've deleted the java, and redownloaded it, and still the same problems. Also, on the automatic updates, its not letting the windows 7 SP1 update either. Maybe has to do with the Java, or vice versa?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI just installed windows last night without any software on it but all the drives it takes about 30 seconds from putting in my password. Everything went fine the first day, but next day everything kept telling me to install flash player which I already did that along with java. I went to control panel flash player was there hit update, says I had latest version. I uninstalled flash player went to adobe and downloaded it again, install process says I have the newest version already installed but I have no flash installed at this moment. The little bar at bottom keeps saying website wants to install following adobe flash player addon which is showing right now as I write this. I installed it at first with the default 32 bit internet explorer which is ie9 but now nothing seems to work and still have no flash player installed.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI got windows 7 ultimate 32bit free from my school, and decided that I wanted to clean install, and not upgrade it. I transferred all my files off, booted the laptop up with the windows 7 disk, and proceeded to clean install. I didn't have the drivers cd for my laptop, but I just wiped my drive and installed 7 anyway. Now I have windows 7 ultimate 32bit, and can only use 3 of my 4 gigabytes of memory.. The thing I don't really understand is the whole upgrading option, and like, I know that it's a windows 7 32bit dvd, but it doesn't seem right to go from 64bit to 32bit. So is there anyway I can make it 64bit without having to buy a new dvd? And if not, how much am I missing out on, with not having 64bit, especially with having 4 gigabytes of ram?

I have a Battery Back Up made by APC which came with software and I installed the software. Needless to say this software controls the functions of the back up,ie: How long to leave the computer on in case of power failure so that Windows may be shut down without loss of data. Somewhere, I think I read that it is not necessary to install software for battery back ups because Win 7 already has support for this. If this is true then where where can the configuration be made for the back up?
View 3 Replies View RelatedI have just set up a new Windows 7 computer and am trying to access the HD across a home wireless network from my XP laptop. XP can see the Windows 7 but it is asking for USER NAME and PASSWORD. I put in, what i think is, my user name on the Windows 7 in the dialog box and then put in the password that I use to log into the Windows 7 when I boot it up but it rejects these. I went to look on the Windows 7 for user name and password and can't seem to find it in PROPERTIES of COMUPTER.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI bought my laptop about a year ago with Vista 32-bit pre-installed even though it is capable of running 64-bit, and now I'm looking to upgrade to Win7 and would like to make use of it's 64-bit capabilities. Is there any easy way of going about this? Since I got the computer with it pre-installed, it did not come with the 32/64-bit installation CDs for Vista. I can buy the Win7 64-bit upgrade CD from my campus store with my student discount, so I was hoping there would be a way for me to do this easily.

View 10 Replies View RelatedI've recently have a Sony Vaio laptop that will not get an IP addess and cannot identify networks. Both wired and wireless stay at identifying network, no internet access. At this point i've uninstalled Bonjour, reset my winsock catalog, checked the LSP, checked proxy setting - none, tried static information with no luck, uninstalled devices and reinstalled, deleted device drivers and reinstalled with new drivers, ran tweaking to reregister files, remove policies set by infections and so forth. I've scanned the PC with Combofix, Emsisoft Emergency Kit, TDSSkiller, and Malwarebytes and have found nothing. I've also removed the drive and scanned it externally. I'm almost down to a backup and reload. I've also remove IPv4 and IPv6 and reinstalled.

I have tried reinstalling the driver to his wireless hardware and that didnt work. I have tried with a static IP, but i wasn't sure if i did that correctly, so i can't safely say that what i did with the static IP would work either way.

My computer took so long to identify network and lately it cannot identify anymore.
