Two days ago I've reinstall windows for some reason..after reinstallation complete I've download more than 90 windows update and my laptop working properly. Unfortunetely the built-in cyberlik youcam missing and I can't find the software or driver to fix my problem. When I downloaded this software from web it's just give me a trial version..

The next time I tried to boot up, I got several BSODs and couldn't boot in any mode. View 14 Replies View RelatedI have tried reinstalling my windows 7 onto my SSD and am having no luck. I believe I have went through most guides / troubleshooting I could find on this website as well as others. After attempting to use my original cd with no luck, I followed the steps only to have the cd go no further than 73% of the step after "copying windows files". I then burnt / mounted, whatever you'd like to call it (properly) my Win 7 to my Thumb drive and at first windows said BOOTGR is missing.
So than I read to put in the cd, repair it using a command prompt "bootrec /fixboot" which it replied successful. After which I reinserted the flash-drive only to get the same error. I have tried partitioning, "clean all" (not in that order), multiple cds, thumb drives, my friends window 7 cd for giggles to see if I would have any luck, removing a stick of ram, all usb items but the kb/m. Desperate after literally 8 hours of working on this I tried my old copy of windows xp which gave me a blue screen of sorts.
I am trying to install Win 7 Home Premium on a different HD, I have the original install disks, I boot from the DVD drive and the files load as usual but after selecting language I get the message: A required CD/DVD drive device driver is missing. How do I resolve this? And also is there any advantage to installing 64 bit, my processor does support it.

My issue is, I'll try to boot into Windows 7 Ultimate x64, not a new installation at all, and I get the "Windows is Starting" screen and the little colored balls, but after a few seconds I get a very very quick blue screen and reboot before Windows even loads. There's no way I can read the blue screen error.So I thought, "Let's just do a startup repair." That didn't work; it said: Quote: Root cause found:The partition table does not have a valid System Partition

So I pop in the Windows 7 installation DVD; it tells me there are missing CD/DVD drivers. I point it to the Windows 7 drivers directory on my primary HDD, it still can't find anything.So I load up my copy of MSDaRT. Some tools load, but it tells me "Tool requires a supported offline OS" under many of the tools, and the ones that do start won't do anything at all because they can't "see" my Windows 7 installation. I have an external HDD reader, but I'd rather not have to wipe everything and do a clean reinstall. Maybe trying to fix the partitions with a G-Parted on an Ubuntu Live CD or something?
Shut down PC last night, all working perfectly. Today it won't boot with the "missing operating system" message. Have booted from Windows 7 installation disc, tried startup recovery - took 2 hours before reporting no automatic fix possible. It cannot find an installed Windows OS to do a system restore, so I attempted a "custom" clean re-install. However, I then get a "canot create system partition or find existing one" error message. I have tried to create a "New" one but nothing doing. I don't seem to have any HDD drivers to point to either.

View 4 Replies View RelatedWith the help of MS Tech Support on the phone [got right through!] he explained how to get rid of all my annoying partitiions. So, both drives were wiped out and made into single primary partitions.
I then installed Vista but had problems with a few of the drivers. A couple of them failed, but they were like 'touchpad' and such. Nothing that I saw as critical.
The minute Vista was complete, I custom installed Win 7 and it went well, execpt that it did say it could not find some drivers--of course, it did NOT say WHICH drivers! It just says, driver missing, click to browse or install.
I have no idea which one, or where it is.
So, rebooted to Win 7 and a few issues:
1: it knows the second hard drive is present and working, but it does not show in My Computer or Explorer. That is my biggest issue.
2: I have been installing second monitors on many machines for years, but this time, Win 7 can't seem to find my large moniitor. It worked before with Vista and it worked before with the first insall of Win 7.
It says missing drivers in the screen shots, but are these Vista drivers it wants? Or Win 7 drivers?
i recently got a new SSD and I've installed windows 7 home premium on it. However whenever i boot into my SSD's windows 7, it says that boot manager is missing. In order to boot into windows 7, i would have to change my first boot to my CD, when it asks me to press something to boot cd, i would just leave it. It would then come to a page that allows me to choose from the windows 7 installed on my SSD and the windows 7 installed on my old hard drive.

View 8 Replies View RelatedOk, had some old parts lying around and built an HTPC with them, it is for streaming media, Blu ray and recording over the air hdtv signals. It is an Intel Pentium Dual core e6200, 4gb of ddr2 at 800mhz, 500gb wd 7200rpm as boot drive and 2tb wd green as data drive, Samsung blu ray drive, a RADEON hd 5650 1GB and it is all in a Silverstone gd-05. The blu ray drive came with cyberlink powerdvd 9 to play blu ray and every time I try and play a movie it crashes the software. When I ran the blu ray advisor it says the video card isn't fast enough. Is cyberlink lying or the software just that crappy?

is there any way to get bluray disks to lay inside wmc?
I am running Windows 7 X64 bit OS. When I "click" on the CyberLink PowerDVD 12 Pro desktop icon nothing happens. This program was working until I encountered a small problem and was advised to uninstall the program and then re-install it. It did re-install but as mentioned in my opening statement the program will not open. All my other desktop icons open their respective programs.

So I have been trying to uninstall it to no avail. I've read some other posts online and they are very technical for me to follow. Anybody have a solution they can put forth in layman's terms. View 5 Replies View RelatedI use iTunes on my Windows 7 computer to sync with my iPhone, and the last time I went to open iTunes it gave me the error message "iTunes cannot run because some of its required files are missing. Please reinstall iTunes."I had heard that if I uninstalled Quicktime (which is bundled with iTunes when that is downloaded), then reinstalled it separately, it would work again, but after trying that it didn't. So I decided to just uninstall iTunes, then reinstall it. However, every time I try to uninstall it in Add/Remove Programs, it just sits there saying it'll be about eight more seconds to go to finish deleting, but it just sits, and sits, and sits...... Nothing. I also tried to just install the newest iTunes on top of the existing one, but every time I try it tells me that it's already installed and to click "Ok." So I can't uninstall it, nor can I install it, nor will iTunes open on its own. I had done a system restore recently, so I don't know if that had anything to do with it.

The only part I will be keeping thats from the original PC would be the HDD and possibly RAM.
