Auto Sync Launcher dialog box appears when the computer boots up. I heard that re-installing service pack 1 should fix the problem, however, I tried this and it still appears. What should I do next to solve this problem? I even tried system restore but that was ineffective.

When I plug in my USB into any computer, I get two autoplay dialogs, which is very annoying. Is there any line I can put in Autorun.inf to disable the Autoplay dialog on the CD partition?

I have used dvddecrypter and autogk for a long time to rip my dvds to avi for use on my media centre, I have never had any sync issues before but have recently done a fresh install of Windows 7 on an ssd, after reinstalling dvddecrypter and autogk my rips are out of sync by a few seconds.I rip the main movie to a single vob, this is in sync perfectly, it is the avi which comes out of autogk which is out of sync, i have checked all the settings i can find but cant find a culprit.
View 2 Replies View Relatedi'm running a windows 7 home premium 64 bit, and for some movies, the video will start in-sync for about 40 minutes, then slowly get farther and farther out of sync, making watching the video un-watchable after another 10 minutes. but it does not do this with all video types. it also does not do this with netflix, Internet, or anything else online.
i'm running a geforce gtx 660m, all drivers are up to date. the files that work are: mp4, files that don't work are: mkv, avi
those are the only files i have tried. it's done this since i got this computer a couple months ago
I recently bought a new PC and am running Windows 7 64 bit. I'm trying to install some older games (Might and Magic 6 7 and 8 to be exact) and every time I try to run the setup it acts like it's loading then nothing pops up. If I wait 5-10 mins a setup bar will pop up but immediately stops responding. The exact error is "32 bit setup launcher has stopped responding"...so I'm assuming this has something to do with my 64 bit Windows.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI bought a Asus U36J laptop back in April of last year and ever since then I have been beating around an issue that I dont seem to be able to resolve one way or the other. When ever the laptop is on battery and in battery saving mode it has my taskbar on autohide. If I turn that off, then it stays off right until it is put back into battery saving mode at which point it is "magically" ticked on again.
Is there no way to simply disable that feature, as its annoying me greatly. I know its tied into the battery saving desktop, and I want to keep the battery saving desktop but want a full taskbar all the time. I found a supposed fix to make that happen, and while it actually makes the taskbar appear all the time, it still is a bad hack as any windows I have open wont "attach" to the taskbar but attaches to the buttom of the screen.
So for the love of god is there no sane way for me to keep the battery saving desktop but get rid of the autohiding taskbar. Otherwise I know Asus most likely wont be my laptop of choice next time aroumd.
occasionally, the dialog box (for "saving" or else) does not show on top. Which means I'm in the process of doing something, in this particular instance, saving a file from the internet to my computer (using IE8), and the dialog box is completely lost amidst all the programmes I have running (like Adobe Acrobat, Word, and IE). This means I'm actually stuck and I have to close every single window one after another to find the elusive dialog box and complete the procedure (I tried going directly to "desktop", but it wasn't there).It never happened with XP, is there a setting I should tune or is this just a(nother) bug?

The system is a windows 7, 64 bit, home version, everything stock. I have cleaned out the system free from viruses and other malicious codes that could have been lurking around there. Installed avast and mbam with spybot on reserve. Everything works, until this happens. The only way that we can make the dialog box fix is to change the display settings and then apply the settings. Later on after answering the question or downloading a file, change the settings back.

The window will go unfocused for a second but the dialog box never appears. Have 1 SSD drive for OS /C No partions and one HDD/D with 2 partions with acronis backup on one the other is clean.

When I updated, the pages that would hangup the browser would now open, but with text not appearing. I cannot remember those websites specifically now that all of them open in the latest version. This didn't happen on any of the beta releases, but I keep getting the screen reoloution dialog box when i first login.
I can close it, of course, but its a little annoying

Whenever (about 50% of the time) I use a program that'll eventually pop up a SAVE/OPEN dialog box (file explorer?). This could be ADOBE, or IE8 when I want to save a picture, or anything that'll prompt me to open a file or save a file, whenever the file explorer comes up it'll start to lag, then hang and then not respond and I have to close and restart.
Is it a windows explorer or file explorer problem? It happens on several of the computers/laptops I have the RC installed on.
Windows 7 32bit. The Dialog Box of the Printer Properties where several buttons are, is cropped both at the bottom and at the right sides. If I change the DPI to 200% then all the text is shown. This is the only dialog box where this anomaly is shown. It seems that the zooming [/I]of the whole menu is incorrect, so on two sides the text is not displayed. The printer is Epson Stylus DX 3800. Epson support could not help: it appears that is a Windows 7 problem. I tried several times to unistall and reinstall the oem driver, unsuccesfully.

It seems to work fine with newer versions of Windows, but there's one little glitch that bugs me - opening or closing the "Find and Replace" dialog box is very slow. On Windows XP, it would pop up more or less instantaneously. Since I upgraded to Vista, it crawls up the screen over the course of several seconds, and back down again when I close it. This behaviour has remained the same under Windows 7, even on an otherwise much faster and more powerful machine than I ever ran XP on.
Anyone know a fix, or at least an explanation, for this issue?
