Mar 30, 2009New touch screen, and, of coursel, wanted to establish my e-mail. Put in the wrong info. Now I need to change it. How do I do it?

Windows 7 What Will The Touch Screen Be Cut?
May 28, 2008Microsoft has just announced that MS-Windows 7 (I like the name Borg) will have a touch screen feature to it. We know that from the Longhorn/Vista over promising and then cutting features out like WINFS. So if MS really wants a late 2009 early 2010 release will MS cut features again just to get it out the door? Or will Windows 7 really just be Windows Vista 1.2 ie service pack 2 of Vista.
I think it will be just Vista Service pack 2 with a few newer features for newer devices. MS knows people hate vista but i love it since i can now cheat at solitare and when you copy files and a file is in use it now asks you what you want it to do instead of just crapping out on you.

Installing SP1 I Can't Establish A Broadband
Apr 11, 2008Since installing SP1 I can't establish a broadband (DSL) connection after coming out of Sleep mode. Even if I log off and back on I still can't connect. I've tried disconnecting before going into sleep, but that hasn't worked. Diagnostics finds no problems and my power options are unchanged. I must either reboot or go into hibernation mode to get the connection back. There are no issues when I use hibernate. I've searched around and found no solutions,

Mar 23, 2008I am user of vista 64 bit ultimate until I upgraded to iPod touch. Touch is not recognized by vista (64bit) and says I need a 64 bit iTunes s/we. This has really put me in a dilemma. I use dual boot with WINXP Pro and Vista 64 bit ultimate. I have been using the dual boot to XP occasionally for using my digital camera as there are no 64 bit vista drivers for it. My iPod touch works fine under XP and now I have to use the XP all the time to use iTunes/iPod touch. Anyone has any thoughts/clues on when there will be support for vista 64 bit from apple? Options I can considering are to re-install 32 bit version of vista which will solve the iPod problem; I guess MS will not allow me to dual boot 32 bit and 64 bit on the same machine?

Jun 30, 2008when I tried to connect to Itunes from my computer the device was not automatically recognized by Itunes. Instead I got Vista's Autoplay menu which gave me the following three options:
- Import pictures using windows
- Open Device Using Windows Explorer
- Take no action
When I go to the device manager and I look at the properties of my Ipod (under Portable Devices) I found that the Device Assembly Description is Digital Still Camera. Consistent with this when I look at the Ipod at My Computer it shows an icon of a camera. This issue has happened now with two different Ipod Touch devices, but does not happen with other Ipod models (nano or Video). how to change the device properties?

Mar 27, 2008when i try to send email, a quick flash appears on the screen (like the action occurred successfully, very fast), but the message just goes to the outbox and is never sent, even upon prompt at program termination. i have checked all program and account settings, and everything is ok (especially the send messages immediately checkbox). i entered a secondary unrelated email address with different, known server addresses but the same thing occurred. i downloaded mozilla thunderbird and entered the primary email information and i could send messages with no problem. switching email programs permanately really is not a viable option at this point. this is not a server address problem, and the primary email does not require authentication.

Every time i delete and block the emails address i get another from another email address generated. Its obviously spyware, I have run AVG and spybot and it hasnt fixed the problem. But if I do a select all the blank space turns blue as if something is there. When I get mail from ex. USAJobs, the entire body of the email is blank. Mar 24, 2008I am building a new system and have a new copy of Vista Home Premium 32bit.
I got it all put together and tried to load Vista. It got to the Windows is loading files screen and then screen in getting black video. Keyboad and mouse stopped working at times. So I updated the board BIO's per intel through iso image and same thing. So I tried installing XP and got to the F8 screen to accept lic. and it just reboots everytime.
Any ideas why Vista would stop? Added the info about the XP install so it may help.

Windows7: Screen To Sleep And There Is No Screen Saver Setup
Nov 24, 2009I know this is a Vista news group but I haven't been able to find a Windows 7 group so maybe one of you guys can answer my question. I have the power settings to never put computer or screen to sleep and there is no screen saver setup. When I leave my computer alone for awhile the screen goes black. This never happened with Vista when setup this way why is Windows 7 doing this?
