is there a way when sending group emails to make the email personal to each person? I want to send out an invite to an exhibition with Dear (name) for each person but dont want to have to send the email 100 times.

I want to be able to bring all the addresses together into one Group, and send the Email addressed to say "Family" or "Social Team" etc. Is there a way that I can lump all the common recipients together under one title?

View 3 Replies View RelatedMy laptop is running vista 32....recently it started after id shutdown to start not responding on all of the windows, i ran virus/spyware/adaware did registry cleaners such as reg mech and reg cure, cleaned up the pc and nothing was fixed, so i then went and updated any drivers that needed to be updated. I still have the problem but i can at least get onto the web which i couldnt previously or run any programmes, they do become unreponsive especialy if theres more than one. i get a lot of script errors too and i have just installed the latest java...now when i switch on i get a black screen with personalised settings not responding aswell...now i do not have any system restore points to use as they were taken up by fixers, i have spent 4 continous days trying to fix this laptop and am lost

an individual error message back for each address on the list (5.1.1 - Bad
destination email address 'invalid domain "": no dot found') I have made
individual contacts of each person thati wish to send to (as despite what the
help file says about clicking the toolbar and choosing "group" all I ever
have available to me is the individual contacts. I then put all of these
contacts in one named directory in the contacts folder but this folder is not
available to me when I go to send a new EMail.
Each time I send an email to a group of addresses my email also gets sent to an unintended (not listing in To recipient. I can't seem to stop my emails from going to this other person. What can I do to stop this?
View 7 Replies View RelatedWhen I send an email using a large group and just one of the emails in the group is an incorrect or improper email, it will give an error message and tell you that the email is not being sent because of the email. One would think that all of the other email addresses would get the message, but it won't. Is there a way to correct it so the email will at least go out to the other correct addresses?

In Outlook, you were able to right click on the group in the "To" box and open all the actual names and remove what you like. his does not work in Windows Mail.

I've clicked on "File" then "New" but "Contact Group" or "Group" is not an option, nor is there a group button on the toolbar. Is there a problem with our settings? We used to be able to add them and now we can't unless we copy an existing group.

When I clicked New Contact Group button, it blinked for a second, then stopped. No New Contact Group window opened. I switched WM as default, tried again, same result. I have had three web pages in my startup folder, and with IE7 these usually ( but not always) started as a tab group. With IE8 on Vista (and Windows7) the three web pages appear as three separate Internet Explorer windows sessions.

View 7 Replies View RelatedI have two questions first is where do I find the Windows 7 Disscussion Group. Have posted here because was unable to locate the windows 7 Discussion Group. My computer which is a SAMSUNG N110 3 months old has become very very very slow. It has Windows 7 installed I have upgraded the memory to two GIG. I have antivirus software and Anti Malware bytes installed.
The problem i have is that the machine seems to slow down and sometimes crash whenever I click on internet explorer and many other applications such as office 2007 etc, etc. I have run the Norton Virus protection which was clean - I run the Malaware and picked up several Trojans which i have cleared. The problem is still extant.
How do I go about seeing who I have listed in my Group file?

Microsoft had been testing SP2 among a very select group of testers for the past couple of weeks. Last week, the company began signing up testers for a broader beta, which testers were told would be released sometime in the next four weeks. As the Hotfix.Net site reported, Microsoft has begun rolling out that broader beta of Vista SP2 this week. The build number for the beta is 16489. (Thanks to Neowin for the pointer to the Hotfix site.) Via the Vista Team blog, Microsoft said on October 24 to expect an even wider group of Technology Adoption Program (TAP) testers to get the SP2 beta bits on October 29.
Testers who received invitations to the Vista SP2 beta said they were told it would incorporate Windows Search 4, support for the VIA 64-bit CPU and Bluetooth support. Microsoft confirmed some of those fixes and features will be in the final SP2 in today’s blog posting. The company also said to expect SP2 to: Add the ability to record data on to Blu-Ray media natively in Windows Vista. Add Windows Connect Now (WCN) to simplify Wi-Fi Configuration. Enable the exFAT file system to support UTC timestamps, which allows correct file synchronization across time zones. I haven’t yet heard about any testers getting the Windows Server 2008 SP2 bits. That beta seemingly was timed to coincide with the Vista SP2 one. I’ve asked Microsoft for more information on when testers can expect to get those beta bits. No word so far............
Somehow, my contacts toolbar no longer has NEW CONTACT GROUP to click on, it is not in the file menu or anywhere else. How can I create a new contact group?
