Insert A Picture Or Some Clipart It Will Say" The Clip Gallery Encountered And Error
Jun 2, 2009
I installed microsoft office 97(I found the CD) on my vista and each time i try to insert a picture or some clipart it will say" The clip Gallery Encountered and Error. Try restarting Windows or reinstalling microsoft office applications." and then it will stop responding and not save my work
I am not able to download any clipart from Microsoft, it says I don't have Clip Organizer/Gallery on my computer. But surely I should as it's Vista? Clip Organizer is listed as a program on my computer, but it doesn't seem to be available or be working.
from the internet (with an internet address location) into a WinMail Email message? I used to do this in OE6. The image box used to pop open and then I pasted the address location into the box.
I don't want to delete my pics, but I don't want them in the gallery anymore. Help tells me to right click on a folder and then choose "remove from gallery." I don't have this option.
In the help menu it says to right click on folder then chose 'remove from gallery' but I am not getting that option! Is there another way to make certain folders private?
I used to open a picture from Windows Photo Gallery and click E-mail and Windows Mail would automatically open for me to send the photo to my contacts. Now when I click E-mail, I get a dialogue box asking what file size to attach it as, I choose, and it closes. How can I bring back this feature?
I'm just wondering if anyone else is having a problem with this!? When i look at a thumbnail of a picture it looks fine till i open it with windows picture gallery... it opens it and it looks all yellow and i have to "fix" every pic i look at, and it still doesn't look any better! Is there an update, patch, or seeting to fix this!!??
Not sure if this is the right forum for this ?. But In my "pictures" folders i use to see the pics now i just see icons. I changed the default program back to Windows Photo Gallery from Picaso to no avail.
I have tried to download the support ware as suggested and get a message "Installer encountered an error 0x8007000d. I have tried everything I can think of for 4 days. I do not believe I should pay $60 for help from the people who are responsible for this fiasco. Toshiba will not help with this. Microsoft tells me my PID was entered wrong.....I copied it right off the computer. Am I at the end of the trail here - should I just throw the darn computer out the window? It is a 2007 Toshiba A215 -S4757 laptop.....hardly
What am I doing wrong ? Using Vista Home Premium on HP Pavilion a6120n Computer why does Photo Gallery and an HP Officejet5610 All-in-One print only half of an intended 8 x 10 on Soft Gloss paper but the complete picture on regular paper ? This printer has had some other peculiarities but this is the latest. Other programs do print the 8 x 10 but the quality looks poorer.
when trying view web videos on vista i keep getting this error message which i have never had before. Windows Media Player cannot play the file. The Player might not support the file type or might not support the codec that was used to compress the file. You've encountered error message C00D1199 while using Windows Media Player.
I am trying to open a file in windows media player and receiving the following message: You've encountered error message C00D10D1 while using Windows Media Player. The following information might help you troubleshoot the issue. Codec is missing
Windows Media Player cannot play the file (or cannot play either the audio or video portion of the file) because the Microsoft MPEG-1 (50) codec is not installed on your computer. I have downloaded vista codecs v5.02 and still unable to play file.
I have a new WD external hard drive that I'm trying use with Vista Ultimate, but when I connect the drive I get an error message saying, "Windows found driver software for your device but encountered an error while attempting to install it. USB Mass Storage Device Access is denied" I found a KB article which seems to be related, but even after acquiring and installing the hotfix I still can't get the drive to install. KB Article: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/937187 How can I fix this? It's very frustrating a bit ridiculous that installing a simple mass storage device fails.
i installed windows xp first on my 1tb hard drive on a partition that worked fine, then i installed vista 64bit on a second partition and that was fine i got the option to dual boot and everything was fine. Now i decided to get rid of the xp partition because i wasnt using it so i copied all the files i wanted from it and put it in my vista partition then i used geparted (3rd party partition tool) to format my xp partition.
I then restarted my pc and get a error please insert system disc, now i think the problem is because the xp was first to install that has all the boot records on it so when i formatte dthe partition i deleted the boot files etc etc. I used my vista recovery disc and used the command prompt to try and re write the mbr using bootrec.exe/fixmbr and /fixboot and a few pther option but nothing worked. I had a similar problem a while ago i wrote a simialr command using the recover console to re write the whole mbr but cant remember what it was.Now i have reinstalled vista on the xp partition and can get access to my other vista partition but really want to make the other partition bootable again..........
Dear vista heads i am having a problem running the game call of duty 2 on windows vista premium my OS version because i am getting an error that reads and i quote "DirectX(R) encountered an unrecoverable error".Is there anything at all you can do to solve it or even get around around for the game to run
I'm having a problem with Windows Vista Home Premium, whenever I go to select a profile "Administrator" or "AL". AL gives me a black screen with an error message "Windows Explorer has encountered and error and had to close", it also says "Host Process has encountered and error and needs to close", after opening Task Manager. If I try to open explorer.exe through Task Manager, it stops working, and I can't get anything else working either it just has the same problem.
when i insert my windows vista update disk, the computer reads it then ejects it with no error message or anything. i installed XP on in a few days ago and activated but didnt register it. i figured that this was happening because i didnt register it but now i cant find where to register the XP.
I just did a clean install of Vista 32 and noticed something odd. Of the two user accounts on the machine (both administrators), only one of them can play ..mpg files in photo gallery. Photo gallery gives an error for one users and works fine for the other.
my old pc with xp died, and now purchase a vista machine. installed an old version of picture it 2000 and i'm getting an error message that says "picture it needs a 30 megabytes to run" but the drive has over 80 gigs free. the software worked fine on xp
I have a C.D. with clipart on it, I bought it several years ago and frequently use it without any problems. Because it is in regular use I have always left it in the C.D. drawer at the end of my session. When I next turn on the computer everything functions okay. Over the past few days when I start up the computer the vista program wants to copy all "photos" on the CD to a folder - I have changed the setting somehow can someone tell me how to stop this from happening? Windows Vista Home Edition SP2.
OS - Vista Home Premium SP1. I accidently screwed my file associations (prob with CCleaner). I re-associated jpegs with the Photo Gallery, but whereas previously a double click on a jpg would open that image on its own in Photo Gallery, now it opens up the whole Gallery with 100's of thumbs.
I have an Acer laptop with Vista Home and want to get an MPV film clip on it, from a brief segment of a talk show on my Tivo. I have a Dazzle plugged into a USB port, and have installed drivers that device manager shows to be working correctly. "Help" says I can use USB as a source, but I cannot find a way.

The paper clip ikon shows when there is not any attachment. I understand that this is caused by using AVG Free to scan the incoming e-mail. Does anyone know if I upgrade to the full paid version of AVG will this be corrected? I have Vista 64 home premium and explorer for e-mail.
When I download pictures from my digital camera, it stores them all in one folder. Is there a way that I could download them into folders that it created by picture-taken date?
Since I have moved from Outlook Express to VISTA Windows Mail whenever I try to past from the clipboard into an e-mail I am composing it automatically changes any foriegn language fonts characters to all English characters. I would then have to highlight each foriegn language phrase and then select the language font from the font menu. I should not have to do this if Window Mail would retain the original fonts from the clipboard or other document program I am pasting from. How can I resolve this problem.
