Disable Contacts Email Addresses
Mar 23, 2008Is there a way to disable a contacts email address from showing up in an email sent...I want names only in the sent to line. Not everyone wants there email address shown for others to get.

Mar 23, 2008I do not want to include the addresses of my contacts when I send emails to a number of people at the same time. How do I remove the addresses without going through all ttheBCC stuff?

Mar 29, 2009Forgive me, but I am new to Vista and Windows Live Mail. I set up my Contacts folder by importing addresses from Outlook Express (.wab file). However, when creating a message from within Windows Live Mail, not all of the Contacts are shown there. I placed the Contacts folder on my desktop for easy access, and when I look there, the addresses that I am missing are shown. It's as if the Windows Live Mail software is using another Contacts folder. I checked the Options tab under Tools to see if the address source requires identification, but could not find such a reference.

Jun 15, 2009I keep getting these spam emails from random valid email addresses telling me I have X amount of dollars waiting for me in a online casino. Every time i delete and block the emails address i get another from another email address generated. Its obviously spyware, I have run AVG and spybot and it hasnt fixed the problem. I cant adjust my spam filters cause sometimes theres important emails which get IDd as SPAM by accident. Is there anyway to fix this?

The email address for one of her friends is correct in the contacts list but when she starts to type in her friends name in the "To" box three options pop up one of which is the correct address but two have additional letters embedded in them which makes them unusable.
