Can't "switch Identities"
Mar 23, 2008I am a former Outlook Express user & just found out that Vista uses Windows Mail. Apparently, if I understand correctly, you can't "switch identities" anymore & go between several email accounts. I have 3 different email addresses that I used to be able to go back & forth between easily. How do I do this now? I can't figure out how to access any more than just 1 of my accounts.

Jun 15, 2009I keep getting these spam emails from random valid email addresses telling me I have X amount of dollars waiting for me in a online casino. Every time i delete and block the emails address i get another from another email address generated. Its obviously spyware, I have run AVG and spybot and it hasnt fixed the problem. I cant adjust my spam filters cause sometimes theres important emails which get IDd as SPAM by accident. Is there anyway to fix this?

The email address for one of her friends is correct in the contacts list but when she starts to type in her friends name in the "To" box three options pop up one of which is the correct address but two have additional letters embedded in them which makes them unusable. Is there any way to locate and delete these spurious addresses?

Last time the only way I could do it was to delete the address book and so when I started Windows mail it started a new one. I had to re-input the data which was a ruddy nuisance.

Dec 15, 2008I really do not have a real need for the x64. I want to run games that do not require x64. Also can you turn off DX10 for DX10 games to improve performace - run them from a DX9 instead. All bells a whistles aside - I am gonna streamline this system and I don't need the added junk bogging my cycles down.
IMO XP Pro x32 would do it for me and if possible I will reformat the HD completly without voiding warranty. I really don't need it for what I want to do. It came pre-installed from Asus. There is not alot of support in gaming to warrant the DX10 or the x64 yet and this is not the best gaming laptop. I only spent $650 for the rig couldn't pass it up for that price.
