View 9 Replies View RelatedI have sent some e-mails using Craiglist. I probably have sent five or six by now. The address always starts out sale...etcetc. When I start to send an e-mail and the first letter of the name is s, all the addresses that I used in Craiglist show up. Since I wouldn't use these again, I want to delete them, but they don't show up in contacts. How can you delete these?

View 5 Replies View RelatedI haven't been able to figure out why I can't get my contacts to populate when I'm composing emails. In my old outlook it would give me options when I started typing in the To/CC/BCC bars and made it much easier & faster to email people. Now, unless I've sent an email to a person earlier in the day, I need to type the entire email address or click on the To/CC/BCC tabs. Is there a setting to allow the population of addresses to resume?

View 4 Replies View RelatedI'd like to get "Windows Mail" back into the top of the menu that comes up with clicking on the Start globe in the taskbar. I deleted it thinking it would confuse the 92 year old client whose machine this is, as she was going to use AOL webmail. However, most webmail applications are so frought with garbage on the screen, that the appearance of Windows Mail (uncluttered) seems a good alternative for one with macular degeneration (she can't see at all well).

View 9 Replies View RelatedI am being forced to use this tacky Windows Live mail program (coz I want to open attachments after IE8!), I have installed it and as I would expect from a Microsoft install it didn't go smoothly!
After quite some period of time the install program announced that it could not import my contacts - probably the most important aspect of my mail program!
It tells me to do so manually, with no instruction how to of course. I am merely told to point the program in the direction of my Winmail address book.
I'm sure I must be doing something wrong, but I have Windows Mail on a laptop using Vista. It works fine, but all of a sudden, I can't fine how to add a new contact or group. I think I recall it being pretty easy and self explanatory before, so I think I must have some hidden files somewhere. However, I tried everything I can think of.
