Apr 1, 2009I have checked "automatically complete email addresses when composing" in Tools, Options, Send. However, it doesn't always work. It would save me a lot of time if it worked (like Outlook Express).

In my old outlook it would give me options when I started typing in the To/CC/BCC bars and made it much easier & faster to email people. Now, unless I've sent an email to a person earlier in the day, I need to type the entire email address or click on the To/CC/BCC tabs. Is there a setting to allow the population of addresses to resume?

Apr 30, 2008I used to have outlook express, and when i wanted to send mail to Tim i could type T and the rest of the name would appear as long as tim was in my contacts. but now in windows vista, when i put Tim in my contacts it auto completes his address not his name so.....if tims address is adsfsdf@wwe.com typing in his name helps me none....is there any way to change this?
