Vista SP1: Not Recognize Print Automatiquely

I have a problem with my laser printer, Epson EPL5700. EPL5700 is a monochrome laser printer, with a LPT1 port. Linked to a computer, who running with XP Familly edition, she work fine, and XP recognizes it automatiquely. But when I have linked my printer on my other computer who running on Windows Vista SP1 32bit, I can install the printer, I select the port who is LPT1, after, I choose the "EPL 5700" on the drivers list, and I finish the configuration. I try to print a test page and the status of the printer change: before print of test page, it was "Ready"... and after, It change to "Error" and the page isn't printed. That the same thing when I try to print another document.

i am running a vista 64 bit sp1 in 4gb 800mhz(2x2gb stick). i have a patriot RAM in 5-5-5 15 timings. it run smoothly and i have no prob. my cousn gave me another RAM. 2gb (2x1gb stick) of Corsair also 800mhz but different timings ( 4-4-4 12).
After i plug the Corsair RAM my pc boot w/ no prob. i check it if vista recognize my another 2 gb of RAM for the total of 6gb of my computer RAM. and yes welcome center recognized it.
but after a while. i play some videos and BOOM, blue screen of death appear. i didnt catch the error code. the pc reboot. but when ever i played some video, bluescreen of death appear again. do you think that different timings of RAM affect it. but both RAM have same 800mhz.

My vista x64 will not recognize my ide drive. It was internal then rigged it to be external and nothing. And yes it works on other computers.

I just installed Window's Vista Ultimate 64-bit on my new build. I have 3 arddrives installed (2 150gb and 1 640 gb). My BIOS reads all 3, but when vista is booted, I only have a C: drive available (one of my 150 gb). None of my drives are in a Raid array. how to get vista to recognize the other 2 drives?

I have installed 4gb of RAM into my computer and vista doesnt recognize all of it. I know 32-bit vista only senses about 3.3 Gbs max. But my computer is only sensing 2.8 GBs. Then i checked my viedo card and Vista is sharing over 1Gb with my video card. Is there any way to fix this problem?

MS Wireless desktop 6000 v2 to replace a keyboard plugged into the PS2 ports. Installed derivers as instructed then followed prompt to reboot. Now no keyboard is recognized and I can't get in to Vista, even in safe mode as I can't get past the log in screen. PS-2 ad wireless keyboard 6000 v2 both work in bios, so I know the computer itself recognizes them, just can't get in to Vista.

I can plug my Canon camera into my two XP computers and the one at work, and they all instanly see the camera and the pictures.
Not my Vista-64. It never opens. Is there some trick in Vista-64 to see USB camera devices? It can instantly see all other USB devices, and I have many. It's only the camera that won't open.

I have registered on this website and have not been able to log onto the site for which I've registered. I can access the site but when I attempt to use my username and password Windows Vista does not recognize the username and password I entered. I've reset the password and this program (Windows Vista) does not allow it to work for some reason. I can access the site and log on from any other computer but not my own computer. I have deleted the browsing history in an attempt to remove any stored info on the pc but that doesn't seem to work either.

My new computer (Vista) is wired to a wireless router. While the router sees all other connections to the network, Vista doesn't recognize ANY computer (1 on XP, 1 a MacBook and 1 a wireless game system). How do I get Vista to recognize the other computers on the network? Previous XP computer saw and allowed sharing without issue, so not a hardware problem I'm thinking, as the new computer/Vista is the only change to the system.

I used to use my SUPER BOX4 (Ps2 controller to PC adapter) for when I had XP and it worked like a charm. Now with installing Vista Ultimate X64 it doesn’t recognize it.
Is there a compatible driver for it (which I doubt) or is there an alternative adapter?

I am unable to get Vista to recognize drivers for my Seagate Barracuda 7200.12 in a non-RAID capacity. It's a SATA drive and I am of the understanding that these cause similar problems fairly frequently. In most cases about which I have read, the issue has been solved by choosing the "load driver" option during Vista installation and manually selecting a SATA driver from a driver disk of some form. Unfortunately, this course of action has not turned up any SATA driver on my motherboard's driver disk nor have I been able to find one at the manufacturer's (Gigabyte) website. I am currently waiting for a reply from Gigabyte customer care and am about to look up JMicron's (the SATA controller producer for Gigabyte) website, but I hoped someone here might have some insight into the problem.

i have problem with HP Deskjet 450 under Vista Home Premium. Printer is installed by Vista, everything looks ok, but i can't print. When i want to print Test page, only row of 2-20 smilies is coming out in best case and print job shows error . When i ask HP, they say Microsoft is responsible for drivers. Microsoft says i should ask HP. I slowly begin to be annoyed. Have bought short certified hi-speed USB 2.0 cable. Windows update shows that there is optional update for Other hardware - dj450 USB, dowloaded and it says it is not possible to install, error code: 80070103. Under Win XP are no problems. Is there any solution aside from buying new printer or downgrade to XP?Is there a way to install this update

Two shared printers off 2 computers running XP. One notebook running Vista that can print fine to one shared printer but not the other. The one it *can* print to is hardwired to the network, the one in *cannot* isn't. But, that's not the problem. The notebook "sees" the printer share just fine. Just trying to connect or run the setup wizard ultimately leads to an "access denied" error. 1) I tried googling the answer and it wasn't "add a local printer" (even though it's not) 2) I tried installing the printer driver both before and after adding the printer (didn't work) I mean it's *right* there, the machine sees it. Why can't it connect to it? Do I need to change something in the machine's permission settings? It's an effing printer. Who cares if the whole world sees it.

I have an Epson stylus photo R200 printer. It prints phots and CDs. The photo function works fine with Vista, but when I try to print a CD, the image is WAY off-center. Are there any Vista patches or downloads that will correct this problem?

I connected a HP Deskjet 670C to a laptop (Vista), using a USB to Parallel Converter. I downloaded the driver (Windows XP - Vista doesn't exist) for the printer and installed the driver that came with the cable. I can't print.

In my 64-bit installation, the print spooler server suddenly stopped running (and will not restart). I am running Windows Vista Home premium 64bit with 8gb ram and an hp c309a printer. My problem is that vista take a long time to print even just a 1 word paper using notepad. Also when i right click the printer in the printer folder it also take time to open the properties, aprox 3 minutes. So if i try to print it takes 3 minutes just to open the tab to click print and to select the printer i wish to use. The c309a is connected by usb cable, and i have tried re-installing the latest drivers and firmware for the printer as well as different usb cables and each of my usb ports. Yet for some reason there is a long 3+ minute pause when trying to print. I have also tried using the network feature and I still have same trouble. Also i have checked to make sure print spooling is on in services. HP has a utility to check for issues for both network and for usb, and the printer passes each test fine. I have done so many full uninstalls and installing of the software as well as the cable changes it is driving me nuts. I have been google'ing for days and days and have had no luck in fixing this issue. One last comment every time i try to print the applications I am using freeze for the 3+ minutes and the window application shows "application not responding", but after 3+ minutes i can finally select the printer and hit print, then at that point it freezes again for about 2 minutes and then prints. I have run multiple virus scans and multiple spyware detection programs and have also run online virus scans using bitdefend and trendmicro as well and i have no virus or spyware. I have also ran "hijackThis" and been told my system appears clean.

running vista 64 SP1 RTM cannot print from IE nor print preview unless I turn UAC off in control panel. Cannot print even if opening IE as admin. (some sort of error message about C:/users/username/appdata/local/temp/low/ and some files therein.) Note, on a different machine with vista 32 SP1 beta2 refresh (never got around to installing SP1 RTM on this box) - UAC enabled and no print problem at all

We have recently got new hardware and upgraded to Vista. We have also just changed to fully networked printing. We are having some printing funnies, but mainly when printing from Excel - no idea why. Here is a selection of the printing problems we have had:

Is there any way I can get Vista to not recognize a gigabyte of RAM? I'm having trouble with a game and I hear that to fix it you can't have more than 3 GB of RAM, and I have 2 2GB sticks of RAM and I don't want to run my system on 2GB.

I have Vista Home Premium 32 bit and just installed a new Lexmark x4650 all-in-one. I can print perfectly when it is connected wirelessly (through the printer's internal connection to the network), but it won't recognize there is a scanner on it. If I connect it via USB, it works. I have tried disabling both the firewall (McAfee and Windows) and the wireless router. I can't see to find anyone who can print but not scan over the network.

I have a friend who is having issues with windows vista 64 home edition not recognizing all four cores of processor. Here is what we have done so far: updated bios tried to change cores in system config but only giving two core option and we have four. rma first processor since 3 separate programs(windows,amd overdrive and cpuz) all showed only two cores checked all appropriate options in gigabyte bios. All components are compatible.
