I have set up my new email address for my new laptop and it says finish but it keeps coming back that its undeliverable. What is it that I am doing wrong? I put in the email name I want to use. put in my mail user for incoming and outgoing mail on my desktop.

View 4 Replies View RelatedThe Windows Vista Home Premium on my new ASUS laptop has aquired a new form of weirdness lately. I keep it updated as the updates from Microsoft come in, and for about three weeks now, I see the following two erratic behaviours: Files I delete from my desktop return from oblivion upon the next reboot. Doesn't matter if I throw them in the bin, clear out the bin afterwards, or even use shift-delete to bypass the bin altogether: next reboot I have about a 50-50 change of seeing them pop up on my desktop again. And it seems to happen somewhere around the time the boot process is complete. I have not tested this in other directories, but will do so if you think it is relevant.

When I reply to Postmaster it says it is not a valid address. server. I am using Time Warner Cable's Roadrunner as my email server.

My internet provider is Charter and that is what I am using for the POP and SMPT. My husband and I are on the same connection in the house just different computers and he chooses to use hotmail as his email, He is not having any of these problems. I thought it was a Charter problem so I called them and they say it is Microsoft Mail and they can't help. Is there something in options or somewhere else in this Vista Mail that can fix this?

View 8 Replies View RelatedI just built myself a computer and put on vista ultimate 64bit, and everything worked great until i turned on the sound... it seems like 80% of the sound is coming from the subwoofer and only 20% is coming from the speakers. its so annoying and obnoxious! all i can hear is 'thump thump thump' its horrible. ive searched around for hours and i cant find any solution. everything audiowise was perfect just a day ago when i was runnign xp I'm not a huge audio person. my set up is 2 speakers and a subwoofer. the software that came with the motherboard is realtek HD audio manager

View 7 Replies View RelatedMy computer (HP m9000t) freezes up after coming out of sleep mode. I have tried turning off sleep / hybrid sleep / hibernate, but the computer still goes into "sleep" of some kind. When it comes out of sleep, I can hear a whirling sound, which could be the harddrive starting up, but moments later it sounds like it spins down and stops, and then the whole computer freezes up, and I have to turn it off and then turn it back on in order to make it work again. I've tried to make it (using power options) so that the harddrive does not power down, but
that doesn't appear to do anything either, because the drive still turns off when the computer sleeps. Before this problem developed, I was having problems with the Media Center remote not working after sleep, and was also having problems with the usb ports, and the sound turning off.....................
Cannot recieve messages, I have an email with a large file attached that is stuck as though message is too large to recieve. I'm not getting any error messages, just not receiving email. Says messsage 27/166 trying to come in for the last 12 hours. How can I delete/cancel this email from coming in so I can receive my other emails that are backed up.
