Inbox Subfolders Is Not Working Properly In Mail

I have all my emails delivered to my inbox. I then (used to and would like again) move any mails I want to keep into a subfolder. What I did previously was right click "inbox", new folder, name it and there it appeared eg RC,type "vista" and a subfolder called vista would appear. If I then wanted to create a sub subfolder I would RC over Vista, type " problems" and that would then appear as a subfolder of vista...........

I have tried changing the server from 465 to 25 but it still gives me the below error: An unknown error has occurred. I just acquired what seems to be a really old PCIe ATI card that I can't seem to install correctly. I went to the ATI support site and the drivers for the card just don't seem to work. Is there a specific order to follow when installing a GPU -- sorry, its been a while. It doesn't go into a PCI slot but its the bigger one, looks like a big ole' AGP card but it has a sticker right on the card that says PCIe. I can only find the drivers for a Radeon HD2600XT and I'm not sure if those are the correct drivers or not. When I first installed it everything went well and it installed correctly but the XP hardware wizard wasn't satisfied. So it doesn't fully install -- note, I do not have the original discs -- but just need the most up to date drivers.

I've read several comments regarding the problem I have found about using windows vista mail, all with the same result - no useful solution. Having just moved from Outlook Express, I am accustomed to using sub folders under contacts. I set up subfolders in Vista contacts but they do not show up when I wish to forward an email using "To:" to select members of a folder, ie "family"
How inconvenient to have to search through all 300 or so addresses to find the 5 or 6 I want to forward to. "Family" is mixed in with all the rest. Creating a group is inappropriate when I do not want to send to ALL addresses in a group. Any news on a correction to this problem?
Or, is it possible to import Outlook from my XP system to use on this new one? The "work arounds" I have seen suggested are rediculous - this seems a serious flaw in the product to me! Any news of an improvement with SP2? (I have SP1 preinstalled) So far I find Vista NOT user friendly! Each problem requires hours of research to discover there is no solution...:mad:

When I emptied my junk mail. When I looked again all my sub folders were gone too- all my business emails and folders. I am desperate. What do i do?.Can I recover them? Where would they be? I am using windows security essensials as antivirus. I am using vista mail.

This morning I have been receiving email in my inbox, but my outbox appears to be broken. Outgoing mail piles up and whenever I try to send it I get an error message. I can manually delete messages out of the outbox, so it is not the problems with "stuck" outgoing messages (although I did experience that problem a few months ago).

Have Win Vista and Windows Mail. Have messgae stuck in Inbox. Deleted InBox folder in User/AppData/Local/Microsoft/WindowsMail. Reopen Mail and message are still there. Look in InBox folder and all message are now gone, however. Where is Mail really getting it's messages from?

On ocassion a message will disappear from my inbox.This has happen before my eyes. I recall reading on this forum a possible conflict with AVG free?? I have checked my settings with the phishing on and junk set to low. AVG is set to scan both in and outgoing mail. This has always happen with a message I want to keep in a folder and never with run of the mill stuff.

Just two days ago my mail disappears on my screen from my inbox. I noticed that after the mailbox symbol appears open, the mail disappears until they are all gone. I searched for them and found them. I copied them all to my inbox so I could see them but then it did it again. Somewhere I saw that they are all there in my inbox, I just can't see them.

I have suddenly started having problems with mail messages disappearing from my inbox. The messages come into my POP3 server and then disappear after I read them. The remain on the ATT Yahoo server and when I try to forward the message to myself, they disappear again. The messages do not appear in the deleted items folder or in my spam folder. I have run a virus scan with no apparent virus.

I have two websites that have 4 email addresses that I have forwared to my personal email inbox (Windows Mail). This way I can have all my emails in one place and I dont have to visit more than one spot to check emails. I am hosting with Network Solutions. I went online to Network Solutions and confirmed that I have set up the protocols so that all my website emails are being forwarded to my personal email address. Everything is set up correctly and I haven't had any problems in the last year until 2 days ago. I sent out test emails and nothing is coming into my personal email address. Nada. However, if i address and email directly to my personal email address, the email comes in and everything is fine. There seems to be a glitch with the website email addresses being forwarded to my personal email. Also, when I went online to Net. Solutions, the emails are not on the server there. It is a mystery. Just thought I'd put this topic out there and see if any Mr. or Mrs. Fix It would come along and put me out of my misery.

My computer crashed and I currently have my hard drive set up externally to copy the information off of it onto another computer. I was using Windows Mail that came with Vista on my old computer when it crashed. I've been able to salvage my data, but would like to find my messages stored in my Inbox in Windows Mail. I cannot open the program (Windows Mail) currently, but will be able to open it when my new computer arrives. For now, I'm copying needed files off my hard drive and storing them temporarily on my children's computer. I do not know what folders from Windows Mail, or Windows perhaps, that I need to save in order to hopefully open my saved inbox messages.

I've recently installed AoE3 on my computer and it works fine, I can start it and all that. Though then I ran into some trouble. I can't make home cities! When I click the "create-button" it freezes for a while and then I come to the menu which is supposed to let you handle your cards and all that. Though there is no city chosen, and when I try to choose one the only option I can click is create new home city. I simply don't get it. One would assume that it's something wrong with the game, and yeah. Of course there is, but I tried reinstalling it and that didn't resolve the issue..! Then I installed AoE: Asian Dynasties thinking that a later update might have a fix, but nope. Problem remains. This is really starting to get to me... I'm at a LAN and I'm the only Vista user you see, though I've had it installed on this computer before so...

Ive got vista ultimate 64. With a standard computer. My problem is that I cant configure my mouse buttons. After I install the latest 64bit mouse driver, and click on the mouse icon to configure the mouse buttons, an error pops up that says - 'Some mouse settings might not work until you connect a Microsoft mouse to a USB port on your computer or set up a Microsoft mouse that uses Bluetooth technology'.
The problem is that I have a microsoft mouse that is connected to a USB port. The mouse works fine on my spare XP computer so its not the mouse that's faulty. I tried separate microsoft mice - wheel mouse optical and the intellimouse optical, both by microsoft and both have same issue.
I tried different usb ports and same happens. I tried the ps2 port and same happens.
I uninstallled all mouse drivers and reinstalled but no help. Basic left and right click works but cant configure the wheel button. It was working a week ago, but I went for a holiday and when I came back it was faulty. All vista updates are installed, security is the windows firewall, AVG free antivirus, and windows defender, but none of these have been a problem before

I recently spilled something on my Microsoft intellitype pro natural ergonomic 4000 keyboard and, after letting it dry and all that stuff, it started to mess up the keyboard keys. Now, "f" types both "f" and "space" and vice versa, "o" brings up the "My favorites key assignment screen, "5" or "." brings up both a "5" and "." together and finally, maybe the worst, "comma" brings me to the last page I visited. (luckily, as I was typing this, I also found that the page is always exactly as I left it, so all the words I struggled to type so far are still there when I go forward in my browser history.) Now I play a lot of FPS games on this computer and this is very very irritating to me. Is there any way to fix this without buying a new keyboard all together? why [question mark] because they are not workin, when i push the left one it does this kLJFS; but puts it way back at the beginning of whatever i was typing and turns on my caps and when i push the right one it does this ][iOURW! and if i had words in front of that [i had to do that in another program to make it nt erase all this] it gives me this W! and erases a bunch of stuff infront of it. this is really driving me nuts and i cant figure this out, i cannot unplug the keyboard because this is a laptop. i just bought this laptop like 3 days ago and it has been working wonderfully up until now.

I am having a problem with Google Search. it has been this way ever since I got this new computer back in April. It does not do this on any "Search" but Google. I have Google as my home page. When ever I type something into the "Search" bar and click on search, it goes as it is suppose to, to the search results. If i go back to Google search and remove the former Search item and replace it with a NEW search term and hit search, it goes nowhere. it will not move. i have to X out of the Browser and then open up a new browser and then type in the term and it will go. This is strange as it does it on Google only. the Google toolbar will do the same thing. It really is annoying to have to x out of the browser and open another one for a different search term. I have never had a problem like this before.
