View 4 RepliesHow do I change the spelling of a word in the Spell Check dictionary? By mistake I indicated that TEH was the correct spelling for THE. Now it thinks that teh is ok and doesn't point it out as incorrect.

I use open office if that makes any difference, I obviously accepted the wrong spelling of the word "the" and accepted the spelling as "teh" now every time I spell "the" wrong the spell checker does not find the error.

As well as the photo id showing under the subject bar the photos are being shown within the viewing pain way over sized so when i try to send the photos they are holding too much info for receiving address to accept so the e mail is bouncing back. I _*HAD,*_ until last week, a similar numbers of sub-folders under Windows Mail *Sent*, such as "To NatWest 09" or "To Family & Friends 09". All the *Sent* file folders have now disappeared. I have accessed Tools, Options,Advanced, Maintenance, Store Folder, Store Location and Change, but cannot find any of the Sent folders anywhere. Can anyone please suggest a way to find and restore them?

When I right click, Personalize. I don't have a 'Theme' option to click on. I tried looking every where on how to get it back or to change themes another way. This is my last option to fix this. Here is a screen shot on what I am trying to explain.

View 9 Replies View RelatedI have a simple text file with a certain word in it. I try to find this text file, but vista won't find it. Windows 2000, linked by network, finds it within a second.
I have tried all available options.
"include non-indexed"
"always search file names and contents"
"find partial matches"
"include subfolders"
etc
etc
It just doesn't work. Why is there not a simple search function that actually works like in windows2000? I am using Vista Ultimate 64 bit. But not having a working search function doesn't look that "ultimate" to me.
I'm using Vista Home Premium - I generally use Outlook 2007 for my e-mail and organising but recently went to Windows Mail to find a Newsgroup (unavailable in Outlook). However, no Newgroups were visible. Unable to find a way to find them I clicked on "Help" and the advice includes "Click the Tools menu, and then click Newsgroups." However, there is no "Newsgroups" option in the Tools menu that displays. The Windows Mail I have is version 6.0.6000....
