How do I change the spelling of a word in the Spell Check dictionary? By mistake I indicated that TEH was the correct spelling for THE. Now it thinks that teh is ok and doesn't point it out as incorrect.

I was writing a message in Windows Mail and added an incorrect word to the dictionary by mistake. Where is the persomnal dictionary file so I can go and delete this missopelled word? I have Works 9 and use CorelWordPerfect X3 for word processing and run it on Vista Home Premium. 15 years and three computer ago I used works all the time and seem to remember a file where I could go and edit the custom or personal dictionary.

"An error occurred while the spelling was being checked." After a short power failure (2 or 3 seconds) while Windows Mail as open and being used, this message now appears over each and every email I send. I have reset the default language to English, but that doesn't remedy it.

I was not paying attention when using the spell check the other day & clicked on "add" instead of "change" so now have words like "i" added in lower case. Know how to edit in WLM but it does not seem to work the same way in WM. Have tried searching for an answer but no luck.

In the windows mail, how do you view and edit the words that you have added into your computers dictionary? A wrong spelling was added into my computers dictionary by accident and now it doesn't find that misspelling and it is a frequently used and important word to have.

where to find the spell checker dictionary so I can add or delete words from it? I use open office if that makes any difference, I obviously accepted the wrong spelling of the word "the" and accepted the spelling as "teh" now every time I spell "the" wrong the spell checker does not find the error.

Using windows mail I can send email but cannot receive email any more. When sending and receiving begins to download emails but gets to 3 and then hangs. After a while a box then opens asking for user name and password. Then hangs for circa 10 - 20 seconds and same box then opens asking for user name and password again. I use msn premium,to get online, my email accounts are.msn and hotmail. when i am online and what to reply to something online, like on craiglist,vista opens window mail and not my msn email. tech suport says there is nothing i can do. it sucks. i dont like windows mail i like. msn and hotmail. maybe i should just buy a mac next time. what i need to now is if i upgrade to window 7 will i have the same problem can someone email me.

I'm trying to help my husband with his mail because I'm a mac user. Out of the blue the infamous pop up windows mail security box is asking for user name and password. It has been entered over and over. Rebooted, created new email account, verified username and password with server.

No avail. Still the pop up box appears and no outgoing mail is allowed. It is mac mail address and verizon but has worked perfectly for months. Has anybody encountered a problem where when you click send/recieve, Mail informs you that it is downloading x of x mails but the mails never appear in the Inbox? Aol says to use: The basic information that you need to setup using IMAP and POP3 is as follows: Your e-mail address is screenname@aol.com or screenname@aim.com.
