I have a new HP laptop running on Win XP Prof. When I boot up, I get an error message saying: "Resource file <c_spursdll> not found!". I click "ok" in the error box and it disappears and there doesn't seem to be any problem with performance, software etc, but it's just irritating. I have done a web search for a download of this file, without success.
My laptop is an Asus Infusion I am running Win XP Pro . I recently downloaded a regestry cleaner called tuneup. When I go to access my system file this is the message I get Resource file <C_SpuRsDll> Not Found! this freezes up the the system.
I have been getting a box up with Resource file missing when I open up my HP Compaq laptop for some time now. I don't know what was done immediately before this started. I see from an internet search that this is common, but being a beginner to technical computer stuff I don't understand a lot of the solutions.
I am running on Microsoft Windows XP Professional, my computer is a e-machines 540. Below are the screen messages I get when I do the following:Problem 1:The PC always has to boot from CD, if don?t I will get the following screen comes up when I start the PC ?Operating System not found?. Why does it do that? Someone installed the OS for Problem 2:The PC automatically boot from CD, as it?s always in the drive and has to do that as explain in problem 1. Then a screen come up with the below:Please select the operating system to start
I installed a Pioneer DVD R/RW into a Dell XP pro machine. Before connecting the cables I downloaded the drivers from the Pioneer website because there was no disc available. I shut down, connected cables, rebooted, went through the found new hardware prompts. The auto driver installer was unable to see the drivers I downloaded. There was an UPGDVD.exe file that accessed DOS and updated the drivers that way. The device works fine. The problem is that I still get a "new hardware found" popup upon start up and following the instructions w/ automatically searching or looking in a specific place is unsuccessful. The device still works fine after canceling the pop up. It is just annoying and I would like to remedy it.
800 MHz processor PC with 256MB RAM and a WD hard drive. She runs Windows XP Professional on it. She walked away from her computer for awhile, and when she came back there was a black screen on it saying basically that it couldn't find any of the devices that are actually attached to the computer i.e. hard drive, CD-ROM. It also said boot record not found. So I decided to have her try the Windows Recovery Console to try and help fix the boot.ini file. Well, when she typed in the command, it didn't work and said invalid entry or system drive not found.
I have an HP Pavilion ze4900 notebook computer that was just purchased on November 30th. From the get go it has been displaying the message "Operating System not Found" when I try to boot up. Sometimes I would have to turn it off and on several times for it to boot up, but sometimes that wouldn't work. Usually I would have to boot up from the Recovery CD.
Well anyway after dealing with the system BIOS settings (boot order and whatnot), and repairing the OS twice, I decided to contact HP support. They instructed me to delete the partition on the hard drive, format it, and re-install Windows XP. Okay did that and proceeded to lose everything that was pre-installed on the notebook including the wireless capabilities, the SOUND and video driver, the modem drivers, everything. And for some strange reason none of those drivers are on the recovery CD. So basically the thing is now a peice of dead weight.
Well, I decided that I would just make the best of it and see what I could do to get it reinstalled. Until this morning when I turned it on again, guess what happened? OPERATING SYSTEM NOT FOUND! So I lost everything that I loved and needed from the notebook for nothing because the @#$%! problem is still there!
On my first attempt to boot, the hard drive is not detecte On the second attempt, the bios always sees the hard drive and boot up is normal.I have tested the Seagate hard drive with the Seagate hard drive support tool and all is error free. This is consistent. I can't find anything in the bios where this would be switchable. Boot up order is:1. DVD drive 2. Floppy drive 3. Hard drive Sony Vaio PCV-RZ22G.Windows XP Home. P4-2.4 1 gig ram.

After running windows update i recieve the following message when booting my machine: "STOP: c0000135 {Unable To Locate Component}.This application has failed to start because GDI32.dll was not found. I am having a major problem logging into windows. When I get to the log on screen, and click my user name (the only one available) it gets stuck on "loading personal settings".My first reaction was to boot from CD, at which point I could not get my USB keyboard to work during the boot which made it impossible to "hit any key to boot from CD", so I fixed that by plugging the keyboard into the default keyboard port with an adaptor. When I managed to boot from CD, I tried to do a repair install and got the message "Setup cannot find Hard disks bla bla cannot continue, windows will restart".
I get the following message windows on bootup that the following can't be found and they have to be removed or added to the registry: C:Windows..Program~1Common~1Micros~1MSINFOinfo32.exe and C:Windows..Program~1Common~1Micros~1MSINFOmsinfo32.exe I also can't open Word 2000 because of a Runtime problem error message. All errors occurred at the same time. Running Win XP SP1.
My notebook froze overnight. While rebooting my notebook, I get: No hard drive found error. After several reboots, I get CANNOT LOAD OPERATING SYSTEM. I insert the XP CD to repair XP - No Go. I insert the XP CD to do a fresh install - it tells me to format my hard drive. But I need the data on there. Never happened before - and I am lost.
When I boot up my computer, I get several messages from Windows which read this way: "[insert file with a .exe extension here] - Corrupt File The file or directory C:WINDOWSsystem32UACmqiemusiwu.dll is corrupt and unreadable. Please run the Chkdsk utility." This message comes up every time that I try to run an executable file and seems to prevent some of them from running altogether. I can run Chkdsk in Safe Mode, but after it completes file verification it says "Errors found. CHKDSK cannot continue in read only mode." I have a virus (Total Security 2009) that is preventing the computer from displaying the command prompt in regular mode, but the programs that I need to get ride of the virus are all executable and cant be installed because of this glitch. Any help with what this file UACmqiemusiwu.dll is or how to fix it would be great. I've tried deleting it, but the computer won't let me because it is corrupt and unreadable.

It says windows can't be started up because windowssystem32configsystem is damaged or can't be found.I already tried bootcfg but doesn't make any differnce.
Out of nowhere in the C drive come these folders. They are named FOUND.000 on up through FOUND.025. Inside the folders are various numbers of files that are named in this way FILE0000.CHK, FILE0001.CHK, FILE0002.CHK. what are they and what should I do?
I am unable to boot my PC most of the times.Whenever I switch on my PC,I see the following message nine ot of ten times. DiskError/Boot Faliure Reboot and select proper boot device or insert Boot media in selected boot device If I press enter after this messages & keep pressing following messages appear from time to time (Not simultaneously). MFC42U.dll was not found. Search of computer reveals file not on computer. Google found many advertising free download but when visiting sites want you to download a scan for dll issues and many want a fee.Very leery of these sites.
When starting up my Dell computer, running Microsoft XP, I get an error every time I start up. I'm just not sure what this error is - I have been having performance issues with the computer lately and am not sure if this error is related. The error says: CoreFoundation.dll was not found.
My brother has given me his old PC and I was planing to do a complete re-installation... so after a few attempts I keptr getting loads of error messages! So I thought it was the HDD... which I completely wiped... Now I boot up with my SP3 disc and it starts to load and then I get " set up did not find any hard disk drives installed on your computer"

So I've been on their website and downloaded the appropriate raid driver... so I started the re-boot with xp disc in, then pressed F6 as instructed and now I am lost... how do i get the driver files on the disc into the system?

I just installed XP on my new rig; I then put in the motherboard CD and got that all installed. However, when trying to install the USB 2.0 drivers a text message comes up saying that I don't need to install the drivers if I have XP SP2.My problem is that when I try to put in ANY usb device windows does not detect it, so I cannot use my printer or external hard drive.Anyone know what's wrong? Is it a BIOS problem? Or do I have to find the drivers somewhere? Or are my USB things broken?
I uninstalled the Nvidia driver, powered down and pulled the card then installed the Radeon card powered up and am now getting these two rundll error messages. Can somebody tell me how to make them go away?
I bought a Dell Labtop from a friend which runs on Windows XP, but when i put a CD in the drive i get" Driver not found " can someone help me with this problem,
I turned my laptop on (and had done nothing special with it the day before) and everything looked as if I had just reinstalled Windows (default desktop appearance, default start menu.)I was able to log off from that account (which I never created to begin with) and log into my own account normally. And my computer has been doing the same thing ever since So I tried to delete that new account in the User Accounts menu, but the thing is after I log off from it, this account is no where to be found. The only way I am able to see it in the User Accounts menu is by switching user, not logging off (which disables me from deleting the account).I found out this way that it is an administrator account.
Ive got photoimpression installed a kind of video programme But now when I hit the shortcut a notice comes up the application failed because the editwin dll was not found.
