I right click a link click Properties, then click Find Target and instead of folder with the target opening an Open With box opens. It has several programs suggested, but not explorer.exe. I have to browse for explorer.exe.

Ok, so far what i have done is. I did run SFCscannow command 2 time with my XP CD in dos prompt and it replaced all my DLL files, but problem is still the same. I have Norton antivirus, Ad-Aware SE Pro, Spybot and PcBug Doctor running in my compuer and i scanned my computer with all of them nothing detec no virus. I tried to use expand command in dos mode C:>expand f:i386 undll32.ex_c:windowssystem32 undll32.exe and it gives me error msg "Can't open output file: c:windowssystem32 undll32.exe"

After i downloaded it , it didnt seem to be working correctly, so i uninstalled it and all of its adds. , now my problem is that the 'CE/DP STEALER' has left loads of past items on my customise notifications. what i mean by this is that when you right click on the taskbar, and then click properties, i go to the taskbar tab, and then i click on customise.I see that

Im running windows XP and I decided to partion my harddrive into 2. One for windows and one for general stuff.

I use Spybot S&D and Ad-aware and Norton Antivirus and have completed scans for all of them. The context menu (right click) does not work on files in Windows Explorer or on the desktop, but works in Start menu, web browser, etc.Also I cannot access Properties for files. I have tried going through File >> Properties, but the Properties box never appears after I have clicked the link.At the same time of this problem my system restore suddenly disabled itself and will not let me enable it (System restore encountered problems trying to enable/disable system restore on one of your drives. However since then, if I try and download certain .wmv files with Internet Explorer, they will not play on Media Player 10. These files worked absolutely fine before the reboot. I tried downloading the same files with a p2p program and they work with no problems with Media Player.Is there something I can do to reconfigure the way explorer downloads things, as I really want to be able to do things as I did before. I'm pretty sure it's an IE problem rather than a codec because as mentioned, the files work just fine when I download them with a different method rather than 'Save Target As'.

Does anyone know how to create a folder that has a target in Windows XP? It has been done on some of our machines, but I am having trouble recreating it. The folder appears in the start menu and has an arrow next to it so you can mouse to the folder and the menu of links shows up next to it. This gives a cleaner look than putting a shortcut on the start menu.
