I just bought The Fisher-Price Digital Arts And Craft Studio for my daughter. She's a little disappointed because she got it for Christmas and can't use it. It will not install because it says there is not enough video memory - minimum of 64MB required? Im running Windows XP with SP 2. AMD Sempron Processor 2400 1.5Gb RAM.

I had played this game on the same PC before one year ago, so I do not know why it is telling my PC now that it doesn't have sufficient video memory. I am running Windows XP Home and am having a problem making a specific photo editor (Arcsoft's PhotoStudio 5.5) the default program for opening image files stored in the 'My Pictures' folder in My Computer.When I first attempted to achieve it, I right-clicked on an image in 'My Pictures' and selected "Open With". I then Browsed to C:/ProgramFiles/Arcsoft/PhotoStudio 5.5/PhotoStudio.exe and clicked on Open. the PhotoStudio name appeared in the Folder options, but not the PhotoStudio icon. Instead I got the DOS icon. When I then clicked on OK, I was told that the image is not a valid WIN32 application. So, obviously Windows XP is not recognising the program.

View 6 Replies View RelatedI just installed Visual Studio 2005 on my machine. and i've started getting this machine check exception error. the full error is 0x0000009c (0x00000004, 0x805461f0, 0xb2000000, 0x00070f0f). I also tried booting in safe mode to uninstall Visual Studio and i can't because it says it is missing files. I'm not sure what to do at this point Anyway every time i boot the machine a few minutes after it gets into windows i get this stop error. Before it blue screens though ALL of my anti-virus/anti-spyware stuff goes haywire, as in it won't load or it is suddenly missing virus definition files?? I have NOD32, avast, spysweeper and comodo firewall running. I also run adaware but that isn't set to load at startup. I'm not sure if it was the software install that did it because i've been having issues with my video card also. where it will say nvidia sentinel thinks the video card isn't getting enough power and will then spam me with that message. I tried up dating the drivers but they were uptodate. Card is a Geforce7900. All the rest of my computer specs should be under my profile. I think i'll have to update the video card info though.

I ran setup.exe to install Visual Studio 6.0 using DVD. It crashed. I thought DVD is bad or corrupted and used some other CD. Still Visual Studio6.0 installation wizard is crashing. When it crashed, a dialog box comes upand asks whether I can send report to Microsoft or debug. I sent report to Microsoft. Nothing happend more than that. I tried to debug using visualstudio .net. Sometimes if the monitor automatically switches itself off the same effect is seen once the mouse is moved. At this point the LED status indicator flashes and activity on the hard disk but there can be 5 minutes or more before the display operates. Frequently the display will not operate and the only option is to restart the PC. The power management settings are for always on and the monitor is set for always on. There is no password requirement to resume from screen saver to Windows. I have checked the drivers for the monitor and they are current.

Device Manager shows the yellow exclamation mark by the WinTV 88x DVB-T Hybrid Tuner/Demod. It says code 31,Windows was unable to install the drivers for this device. In driver file details the driver is there but doesn't have a tick by it like the others & it says its not digitally signed.I haven't uninstalled or reinstalled any drivers for it & i haven't used HCWCLEAR because i unfamiliar with it,i'd prefer to get some more info before i attempt anything or mess anything up.
After I uninstalled some Dell printer software from my computer, my Cannon camera and Samsung scanner do not work. I have deleted the devices and connected them again but when XP tries to install the drivers I get this error: "Windows cannot load the device drivers for the new hardware. The Driver may be corrupt or missing. (Code 39)".I have reinstalled SP2 then SP3 but that did not help.
