Modifying The Message In Rejected Mail In Exchange
Sep 4, 2006
if you have any experience in MS Exchange I ask you to look at that picture. When an e-mail is rejected there should be a text message notifying for the rejection. How can I write a message on my own (where to explain the reason of rejecion and where to resend the e-mail, if it wasn't a spam)?
I work from home and need to be able to email. A few days ago I started by getting Script Errors at the bottom of my pages anytime I tried to do anything, but read my yahoo mail. I asked yahoo's help desk for support and they had me check the java script and debugging, and try downloading updated IE. Now I it says Error on Page at the bottom of my screen and I still can't do anything. I can't reply, forward, compose, attach files, delete, or move messages.
Is it possible to remove the "Documents" link from the start menu. I'm sure that Bill Gates thinks it's a good idea, but I really cannot think of a good reason for it being there.
I have purchased a new wireless keyboard and mouse (NGS). The keyboard works fine. When I installed the mouse the driver installed was a windows driver, and the mouse would not work. When I try to install the driver that came with the mouse (not digitally signed) I get the following message "The class installer has denied the request to install or upgrade this device"So I cannot get the mouse to work. Can I override this interupt ?.
I upgraded to Windows Live Mail and now am unable to view my previous e-mails in my hot mail account that i have had for years. How do i retrieve these e-mails that i believe are still on the server?
I don't know what happened, but my default e-mail program in MS Word changed by itself and now when I try to send to and mail recipient it uses Outlook instead of Outlook Express like I originally had setup.
I am especially worried because the next line states: connection reset by peer; socket write error. Also, upon boot-up windows goes every time to check disk, runs through the process, then says to wait to shut down, but it never shuts itself down.
(I've already posted this message in Business Applications, but it only got 6 hits, and I'm sure 3 of them were me, so I'm gonna see if it does better here) I work for a small Charity, which unfortunately is having some funding problems. This is very bad timing, as we have a backup problem too.I know throwing money at the issue would solve it, but that is not currently an option.
My daughter is traying to set acces to her job's Exchange Server using Outlook 2002 SP3. But had no success so she asked me to help, but I could not get it to work either. Her OS is Win XP Pro SP2.I go to Control Panel -Mail -Accounts- Email Accounts and click on to set a new account for Microsoft Exchange Server. In that panel I enter the name of the server.server. and her user name it asks to check the name and I click on and it brings up an error message thet it could not connect to the server that no connection could be established and that I need to connect to the internet. I know we are connected since it is a DSL connection she has. Also checked for More Settings but nothing in there indicates that I need additional info for a connection.I also tried to go through the HTTP set up and it to no avail. However if I just open the browser explorer and enter that HTTP address I can connect with no trouble at all to her logon page.
I am trying to open a new email account at work using ms exchange server but I get an message about the server not being available? connection is offline or not connected to the server!
I am trying export my Outlook Express 6 mail/files etc on ME to a new machine running OE6 and XP.I copied all my messages on a CD as per the export instructions. However when I follow the import instructions (after the stage where I browse to find them again) a message comes up saying that the messages are not there in that file (they are). The export/import of the identities and the message rules worked fine. I just cant get my old messages imported.

I'm running xp pro sp1 & sp2. Pentium 4, 1.4ghz, 1gb of ddr ram.Within the last month I have been reloading my computer for various reasons. My first problems is after restarting my computer, I get a TCP/IP is not installed error. Now the computer will work but, I can't get on the internet or read e-mail.The only way I know how to re-install the TCP/IP is to reload windows.I have tried to reload the TCP/IP from windows, but no luck.
I'm getting ready to do a format/reinstall XP on a friend's Acer laptop that we've been fighting viruses other malware problems- when he finds his disk, that is. I've done several reinstalls before, and I usually just go in and save the Outlook Express mail & address book folders to a USB drive. This time it's Windows Live Mail, which I've never used before. How is the e-mail & address book saved?
I have been using Outlook for quite a while now and have always exported to a CVS or Excel file when backing up. It's not bad, but viewing e-mail on a spreadsheet and losing all the attached files is not the best solution. Are there any good solutions out there? I have a "Save Mail" folder I'd like to back up every so often and be able to search and read through it. Even if it exports all the e-mails into one long document, or PDF, that would be great. Ideally I would like to save the attachments too but that is less critical.I believe Outlook stores in mbox format? So maybe a tool that works with that. Or with Outlook's archive format. Anyway...just looking for a good way to export all my emails to a normal readable file.
uninstall windows hot mail. When I hit the reply key to answer and email the attachment below pops up. If I hit the new key to send out a new email the attachment below pops up. I can't get rid of that attachment unless I highlight it and hit the delete key first.I am glad to tell you one good news ! i have bought one DELL laptop from one site then i got it within 4 working days and the quality is high too.i am very satisfaied with their service. there are many interesting electronic items on the site!such as Phones,TVs Laptops or Video Games or Motorbikes and so on!also the price is good enough.
I recently installed Service Pack 3 for XP, and all seems well. One problem is that I cannot get e-mail through to a friend of mine with outlook express. This is the error he is getting from Panix. This doesn't happen with SP2. Is this a known issue, and is there a fix that doesn't involve removing sp3? I've tried 3 sp3 computers, and they all do the same.
I am looking for a way to download and save all of the emails on my yahoo mail account. I heard about a way to use outlook to do it, but I prefer a 3rd party program to do it since I dont have an outlook account. I google searched but did not find any programs.
On one of my computers, the "Remember my ID on this computer" checkbox on Yahoo! Mail is replaced by "Keep me signed in for 24 hours unless I sign out".Next to that, there's a "feedback" link and a question icon. What is this? Why is this different from what appears on my other computers?
I can't get any sound to play when new Outlook Express email arrives. I use XP Media Center 2005. There is a sound icon in front of, New Mail Notification, & the Chimes sound (which I chose) does play when I press the test button to the left of Browse. BUT, it does NOT play when new mail arrives and Outlook Express is open or minimized. All other program default sounds do play. Also, with Outlook Express open, I clicked on Tools, Options, General, and there IS a check mark in front of, Play Sound When New Message Arrives. Is there something else that I should do to make the Chimes sound play when new email arrives?
I have Laptop with WXP installed. I am using Microsoft Outlook for mailing. Some time it happens that I receive a CC of mail send by someone but when I open the mail; I dont see my address in CC list while I receive the mail. Normally when I receive a CC of mail, I found my name in CC list.
There's an e-mail doing the rounds inviting recipients to download SP3 for XP and on the face of it, giving a web address of windows.com etc. On close examination, the second "w" in Windows is actuall two "v"s and anyone visiting this site is likely to get a nasty surprise. That's why I'm not posting any links and also why I'm forwarding thios posting to a Mod who may care to make it Sticky .
When i have incoming mail it used to advise me in my taskbar and also by a voice message that doesnt happen anymore and I dont recall changing anything
When forwarding mail I've tried everything and can't get rid of all of the addys that come with e-mails that are sent to me in yahoo mail. I've looked everywhere in yahoo and can't find an option that tells me how to do that. I've tried "edit with microsoft front page" and I keep getting "there was a problem" this is a nightmare.
I want to change the sound of my new mail notification. I checked the 'help' info on the control panel and got this---To assign sounds to program events 1.. Open Sounds and Audio Devices in Control Panel.
2.. On the Sounds tab, in the Program events list, click the program event to which you want to assign a sound
