Open In New Window Is Not Full Size Window
Aug 12, 2005When i open any link with "open in new window" the new window is not full size screen window.Of course i dragged it by mouse many times and that should fix it later.It means it should be opened as it had been dragged,but that's never happened though i dragged it about a hundred time as a full screen size.What is the wrong here?

In the old Windows 2000, the Google page remains opened on the same window overlapping the myWin.doc window and no new window is opened.

Jul 8, 2005Small irritating issue here, I have a pc running WindowsXP Pro and every time the system is rebooted I get the System Configuration Utility box come up, the one saying, "You have used the System Config Utility to make changes to the way windows starts.etc." I have seen this before and am use to it as I use the utility to stop alot of apps. The difference this time is that I cannot get the box from appearing after each startup. I have checked the box that says "Don't show this message or launch the system configuration utility when windows starts", but it shows up every time. I have also tried to remove this from the registry.

May 26, 2006I work from home and need to be able to email. A few days ago I started by getting Script Errors at the bottom of my pages anytime I tried to do anything, but read my yahoo mail. I asked yahoo's help desk for support and they had me check the java script and debugging, and try downloading updated IE. Now I it says Error on Page at the bottom of my screen and I still can't do anything. I can't reply, forward, compose, attach files, delete, or move messages.

Now every time I try to open one of these attachments I get the following error message. OE removed access to the following unsafe attachments in your mail: *.wmv''where the Asterix is the name of the file. Does anybody have any ideas what my problem is? I know I am getting these files from a trusted friend so I am not worried about getting a virus. Like I said, I have been opening them for years. If I then try to forward this file, either the recipient gets it but is unable to open it or it is scrambled and unreadible... OR... the recipient never recieves it and then I receive 2 or 3 emails (depending on the size of the file) stating FROM: "mail delivery system" and SUBJECT: "delivery status notification". I AM able to upload or forward small files of say 2 or 3 pages without a problem. I've tried to find some setting that I could change but have be unsuccessful.

Nov 19, 2007I have an HP Pavilion dv6110us laptop that is running on Windows XP Media Center Edition Version 2002, and I'm using CA Security Center 2008, which was a recent upgrade that I installed. I'm experiencing similar problems that RHCPfreak21 had reported (system freezing, Task Manager taking forever to open and end a program, etc.). Also, after startup, Internet Explorer won't open, so I have to restart, and then it opens. At shutdown, I've been receiving the following messages:

I've run several virus scans, and thank goodness none were found. However, the spyware scans found some files. Per your instructions to RHCPfreak21, I ordered AdWareSE 2007 to fix the AXWIN Frame Window error, and it found 19,372 infected files. All the files were from Wildtangent games. I started experiencing these problems the day after my niece had used my computer, and she likes to play Poker. She evidently went to a site that unleashed malware or something onto my computer without her knowing it. I'll find out tonight when I shutdown if it took care of the AXWIN Frame Window error. I hope so. I've also contacted Microsoft for the "hotfix" to fix the DDE Server message. I'm still waiting to hear from them.

May 22, 2008My computer keeps freezing for no reason at all. It starts up normally, and everything loads just fine. I go to open MSN for example, it opens, but I try to do anything inside of that program like open up a new window and it freezes. I press end now and it doesn't close no matter what, even after hours. I minimize it, go to desktop, try to open a folder and explorer freezes. At this point nothing opens up nothing works and I restart.
I have restarted plenty and its the same story every time. I hadn't done anything different than I usually do with my computer. Just one morning I go to my computer and its been doing this non-stop ever since.When I start the computer in safe mode, this problem doesn't occur so its obviously software, but what could be causing this?
