Getting An Application Error Of Advanced Windows Care
Nov 2, 2009
I have installed advanced windows care professional but yesterday by mistake some files are deleted and i was told to reinstallation will fix the error but when i have tried for reinstalltion a message pop up. I have uploaded the error message here http://img81.imageshack.us/img81/7887/applicationerror.png .
I run a Dell XPS M140. I'm ready to pull my hair out. Three days ago I was infected with the "AV Security Suites" virus. I immediately shut down my computer, restarted in Safe Mode With Networking, and ran every single thing I had. I ran Avast, Spybot, Ad-aware, Malwarebytes, CCleaner, Registry Mechanic, Advanced System Care, and Glary Utilities. I thought I got it. I restarted my computer in normal mode and all seemed well until I noticed I cannot change my desktop theme or wallpaper. When I change the theme to "Windows Classic", it works, but when I restart my computer it's right back to the XP theme (green start button/blue taskbars)
im attempting to install an application setup.exe file and recieve the following message: 16 bit windows subsytem c:windowssystem32autoexec.nt. the system file is not suitable for running ms-dos and microsoft windows applications. choose 'close' to terminate the application.
Whenever I turn on my computer, I get this error message saying "Microsoft Advanced Notification Error" This just started a few says ago. I went into the event viewer
Every times I turn on my computer this window pop up Advanced INF Installer Error unregistering the OXC:Program FilesWintoolsWToolsB.dll My operating system is a Windows XP
when I open some games, the screen is off center and there is a large black bar at the bottom of the screen and the top of the game screen is not visible. When I change the screen resolution or just the resolution or window for the game to run in, it does not make a difference. After searching for a long, long time, I came to the conclusion that perhaps the driver for my video card needs to be updated. I have no idea what my video card is so I was trying to find out.
When I right click the desktop to bring up the Display Properties and click on the Settings tab... when I try to click the Advanced button to bring up the properties for the monitor and video adapter, I get a Windows Error Message that reads:
Run a DLL as an App has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.
When I open certain programs, for example the preferances program for my printer, the window is too small and I can't read everything in there, and it does not have a maximize box to make it larger. how can I fix this? Is this a windows problem or an application problem?
Tow recent additions to the Beta stable have left me impressed enough to tout it's benefits. :One-Care" is a lifesaver program that is a joy to use as soon as you open it from the download try it and you will like it - or not(Tell Me) You read everyday about backing up problems but now I believe that has been resolved in one fell swoop by this program. What's going on? did Microsoft finaslly hire a programmer who lived in the real world?
The other program is "One-Note".I find myself happily configuring this program to the way I do things and it responds (some quircks but the feedback allowance appears to be listening)Try the programs for discussion at the outset before they print the final copies and some ogf the little things that need tweaking may actually be done without getting zillions of patches.
I suppose I became bored(or stupid) but I decided to give Windows Live One Care a try. I like the idea that it has a two way firewall.I've tried Zone Alarm, but it's just too much trouble! Any opinions on this? I haven't read anything on this forum one way or the other. It has a 90 day free trial, so if I don't like it I can always reinstall my Avast, which I was having NO trouble with.

After a new install I have 2 traits different from the way they have been for about 5 years and I would like to change them to what I am familar with. But afer googling,I am still lost , This one I think need a new registry value added and I never did that I have changed values but never added a whole new value. So if you can help me take it slow.I would like to remove the my recent documents on the start menu using the classic style.I have found several D value names to add and I would like the correct one.
anyone knows of any software that can completely remove all traces of windows application, just like at the point in time after you reformatted windows and the entire system is clean. Please do not name me those usual uninstaller programs becoz they cannot completely clear all traces similar to a new formatted computer.
I have 3 displays attached to my WINXP home system. The windows will de-activate randomly. By deactivate, I mean the active bar at the top of the window will dim and the task block at the bottom of the window will dim also. I have to mouse click the window to make it active again. This happens randomly. even if I am keying into an application such as EMAIL or my word processor. This also happened when I had only ONE display attached.I have automatic updates enabled so I believe my software is up to date.
I just loaded a game on my pc and when i went to play it i got this error message C:windowssystem32autoexec.nt. the system file is not suitable for running ms-dos and microsoft windows applications. choose "close" to terminate the application. It has come up before and i can't figure it out
I recently installed Windows Live One Care on my computer. After installing it, I attempted to open it but had no success. An error message pops up and says "Windows Live One Care has encountered a problem and needs to close." It gives me the option to Send Error Report or to Not Send Error Report. This happens constantly everyime i try to open it. I can not reinstall this program because it is not listed in my Control Panel>Add or Remove Programs. Also, I tried using their (Microsoft's) uninstaller and i get this message.
Im getting this message when trying to restart windows XP. i get it even when i try to enter into safe mode. If I click on either option it restarts the machine. I cant even get access to the safe mode of windows
"Application error: Winlogon.exe. Click ok to close or cancel to debug."

I am trying to load my Printmaster Platinum 7.0 or 8.0 and neighter will load. I have been trying to get this fixed for over 3 weeks. Nothing I have found will work.

The memory could not be "read". Click OK to terminate the program.I am using Win XP Home Ed with Service Pack 2 installed on a Dell Dimension 8200 with 512 MB memory. What is the simplest course for recovering from this problem. The program seems to work anyway.

Good morning, I have a couple of problems and I can't figure out how to get my computer back to where it used to be. I think it has something to do with updating windows. I get messages everytime I try to open a photo or a file. One message is Explorer EXE-Application Error, The instruction of ox600470a4 referenced memory at ox600470a4. The memory could not be written. Click on ok to terminate the program, click on cancel to debug the program. I clicked on debug and the program I got a message about Dr. Watson trying to communicate with ? and I clicked ok. Then the photo closed and all the icons disappeared and the reappeared. When I opened the same photo again, I got the following message. Data Execution Prevention-Microsoft Windows to help protect your computer, Windows has closed this program and also Windows Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close, etc. Again the program shuts down. Basically, I can't open anything without the error messages. I can't copy cd's either as I have in the past with Nero. The program starts and then I get a read message or the cd just will not copy. Is there a way that I can do a restore and have my computer back to where it was 3 weeks ago? I could do that with my old computer Windows 98se. I have a HP Media M7060n now and I have XP home edition. Up to now I have had no problems. This computer is very different from my old one and I have no clue how I would do a restore. I just want a restore from 3 weeks ago, not a complete restore. I think the problem has to do with a windows update. I think I did one just before these problems occured. I lost my virus protection and had to reinstall it. I thought maybe that was the problem so I uninstalled it, but that wasn't it. So..here I am very frustrated. I know this post is long and I apologize. Thank you~Liz
I get the following error evry time my Windows XP Media Center PC boots
winlogon.exe - Application Error
The instruction at "0x0101050c" referenced memory at "0x117e4000". The memory could not be "read". Click OK to terminate the program Click CANCEL to debug the program When I click either the system reboots and I'm stuck here. I cannot get it to boot in safe mode but I can boot to a DOS prompt in the Microsoft Windows Recovery console.
I just got hit by a virus, it's all gone now. But one thing, it still messed up rundll32.exe and userinit. I cannot log in without, having to press control+ alt+delete, file, newtask, explorer.exe
