Anyway, it shows four external hard drives (I have 4 USB outlets on my computer. Finding Way To Run Programs Without Letting The Admin To Know?

Sep 17, 2005

I'm running win XP home with 4 restricted user accounts for 4 kids.I have two programs that ran OK on WinME and run just fine under an admin account on XP, but don't run properly under a restricted account. One is a Disney game. The other is the "well of souls" multi-user game. I can let the kids run those programs as the admin user using the "Run As"feature, but to do that they need the admin password, so they're always asking me to type it in for them. So, I want a way to allow those just two programs to always run as an admin user, without having to enter the admin password each time they run. Is there any way to do that?

Change / Remove Button Missing In Add / Remove Programs

Dec 3, 2008

I have tried previously to uninstall my HP Officejet G85 printer from HP Pavilion a1130n running XP Media. There is no Change/Remove button in Add/Remove Programs but the program is there, 150 MB, and the file suggested on the HP website for uninstalling older printers from XP produces a message that it's "unsupported" can't remember exact verbiage, been a while since last tried. Even reinstalled in the hopes that a message would come up to the effect "this program is already installed, do you want install to remove it prior to completing this install," but it just installs the printer again with a number after it ... I'm up to "hp officejet g series - 3."

Add/Remove Programs Did Not Remove Program QuickBooks 200

I want to do a clean install of the licensed version of QuickBooks 2005 CD but not until the downloaded trial is cleaned from the HDD. What I did: Uninstalled QBs 2005 Trial using Control Panel | Add/Remove Programs. It appeared to perform the program uninstall successfully and it's no longer listed in Add/Remove. But, according to the HDD the program is *still* installed. Did not find an "uninstall" or "unwise" file in the QB folder. Nor did
