Error:cannot find file:///program%20files/motive/tuner...kercallin.htmlHowever I do get in, very slowly. What does this message mean? I have Verizon DSL and am running on Windows XP home edition version 2002 service pack 2. Does this error message also have anything to do with the incredibly L-O-N-G time it takes for my computer to boot up?
on internet time page "An error occurred while windows was synchronizing with time.windows .com." Get same error message with other listed time server too."An error occurred while windows was synchronizing with 'time server whatever'.Did a google search and the only thing of value i found was to switch servers which is not working. Does anyone have a fix for this? Is there a 3rd party program which will work.?
date and time incorrect error message is displayed on bios I have not installed any program, but a pop up is displayed on "ALL PROGRAMS BUTTON", eachtime i click on start button and some programs are highlighted, no program is installing correctly.
What's this login box that is popping up now? I've never had this before and I've seen it on a couple of computers now.A login box pops up in the middle of anything - nice Windows colors with two keys in upper left.. asking for password and login "connecting to sc.msn.com"? Where the heck is this coming from?

I have Windows XP Home system that shares a folder and 2 printers with 2 other XP Home systems and 1 XP Pro system. All 4 computers are in the same workgroup Somewhere between 10 and 30 minutes after startup the XP Pro system loses the ability to browse the local network and loses contact with the shared folder and the printers. The share and the printers are still visible and useable to the other systems on the network
some relatives of mine have a decent enough computer with not that much stuff on it (its better than my PC1). anyhow they've asked my to try and speed up their boot time because it takes yonks to reach the log in screen and it really shouldn't. so im going to have a thorough clean of msconfig, im going to use "ntregopt" and i might even use ATF cleaner.anything else i can use to speed it up?

I'm running Windows XP SP 2 and I get an error message whenever i connect my blackberry curve to the computer. if the usb device is stopped, it will go away, but other than that it won't disappear after clicking cancel. if it helps, I installed the roxio media manager only yesterday, when the error first came up. Every time I switch on my machine and try to connect to the internet, I get a dialogue box: Web page is unavailable while offline. To view this page, click connect. When I click connect, I can view the page and don't get the error message again until I switch off the machine. Why does this happen?
I have a Presario C700 model C768TU Notebook PC running Vista Home Premium, with a 1.76GHz CPU and 2 GB RAM. The problem I have is actually driving me nuts.I freshly installed Vista after formatting the drive and when I point to the only desktop icon which is the recycle bin I get this dialog asking if I want to send it to the recycle bin.No matter how many times I click on NO it won't go away and in my frustration I reboot the Laptop. have formatted the laptop several times and installed WIndows 7 and had the same problem. I also formatted and partitioned the drive and still had the same problem.I added a few more icons to the desktop and the same thing would happen if I pointed the mouse at them.
when i go to the time settings and click on "Update Now" on the "Internet Time" tab, i get an error message saying that Windows can not synchronize the time. I checked the even viewer and found the following related error messages.
a message keeps popping up saying the following: Cannot load dialog. Error 623: The system could not find the phone book entry for this connection. All I can do is click the close button and it goes away and nothing else seems to happen, but it pops up again in a few minutes.
Getting a popup the first time I login after a reboot of XP Pro SP2: Windows cannot find /idlist,:518:1864,'. Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again. Tod search for a file, click the Start button, and then click Search. I notice that it takes nearly a minute to complete my first login. During that time I get the welcome screen and the notice that my personal setting are being loaded. Shortly after (10 sec) I initiate the login, I hear an alert tone; I assume that is the popup described above.

I have a Dell Inspirion laptop and have formated the HD and removed the partions. Have tried booting from a USB HD and have also tried another burned disk. No change will not install.
Man, my computer for the last two weeks have been crashing like an emo. I mean, when I play GTA: San Adreas, in 20 minutes, I get a BSOD with a stop error. When I put hardware acceleration to full, in a half an hour, I get a BSOD with a similar error. Believe me, I got three kinds of errors, and some were from different time. I believe the problem either came from the either the PSU, new 512 mb of ram, old 512, CPU, system board, or the graphic card. I'll try to post the error as best as I can. So, is there a solution to this? Error Message: STOP 0x000000EA THREAD_STUCK_IN_DEVICE_DRIVER (Q293078) This is one of them, but there another one with KMODE that I can't seem to remember. Also, sometimes, after it tries to recover from a serious error, the computer shuts down during the bootup before I can choose which XP version I can choose. Also, I hate to say this, but I'm not using a legit windows copy sp1, but I have updated to sp2.
i had XP 2008 virus/spyware, which I think I managed to get rid of with Malwarebytes' Anti Malware and System Mechanic 7. Now I have a new problem. After receiving a recent download from microsoft, upon restarting, I get the blue screen of death with this message; STOP: C000021a (Fatal System Error) The Windows Logon Process system process terminated unexpectedly with a status of 0xc0000005 (0x00000000 0x00000000)
I can't get anywhere into Windows, I've done F2, F8, F12, everything I could think of without risking more damage. I've booted from the system mechanic CD with the Hard Drive recovery, and while it said it found and fixed a problem, it didn't fix this one.
When I'm trying to start up Windows XP Home Edition I receive an error box without an error message, I can just click YES or NO. Neither option let's me continue. When starting up in Safe Mode, everything works fine.
For a few days I keep getting this message when I try to reboot. I press "enter" and it goes to Windows.I check the BIOS and the order for booting did not change:Hard Drive and if it fails CD I have Win XP, Pack 2; Pentium 4 dual core and 1000 MB
The message could not be sent because the server rejected the sender's e-mail address. The sender's e-mail address was 'cih333@suddenlink.net'. I keep getting this error message when I boot. The entire message says, "windows explorer has encountered an error and needs to close." When I close the box, i lose my desktop, and can't run a bunch of programs, including the "run" option. I am able to run my browsers and get on the web. I did do a system restore, and it worked at first, but then on the next reboot, i got the error message again. Did another system restore, same thing.
When you start the computer it boots all the way to the login screen with all the users then you hear a clang from inside the computer then it restarts. It'll go into safe mode. I ran spybot and adaware from my thumb drive but they both couldn't fix all of the listed problems. Tried to do a disk check but it would stop due too "unspecified error". The hard drive is only a little over 6gigs with 15% free space(after cleanup from safe mode)Got it defraging now(gonna take all nite) Like I said this is an older machine as my g/f had one just like it and hers had windows 98 on it original. Not sure if my friend upgraded to xp or it she bought it like this. Says it was working fine up until a couple weeks ago.
Every time i login , i get the following error at the account selection screen , Since i don't know anything about softwares i click on OK everytime . After that as the desktop is loading , I get a send error report prompt saying that Firedaemon.exe has encountered some problem . So that means firedaemon is causing this error to pop up .But the thing is that i never installed firedaemon into my computer and i can't find it in Add or Remove programs list either .
