.Net Framework And Installer Getting Error While Opening?

My .net Framework is erroring out when I try to open Sony Vegas. I upgraded to 3.0 but that did nothing. I went back to 2.0 and am still getting errors. Also, whenever I try to install a various list of programs, I get this error:"This installation package could not be opened. Verify that the package exists and that you can access it, or contact the application vendor to verify that this is a valid Windows installer package."

When trying to uninstall NET.Framework, to reinstall it, Windows Installer hangs. Gives message about registration, but no reference on how to do it. Windows installer works to install other updates.

When ever I attempt any task from booting to going online to opening software I get a pop-up Windows Installer" and it then say's prepareing to install I can cancel but it comes back or sometimes crashes my PC

I recently did a PCRegistryCleaner "recommended speedup" via running "services.msc" every time I open an Excel file I get a Windows Installer Preparing to instal screen which must be Cancelled before Excel will open up. There were many items recommended to be Disabled and I'm wondering if anyone can suggest an easy way to fix my problem rather than working tediously through every Disabled item one at a time?

When I click on a desktop icon it opens the Windows Installer with a message that says "preparing to install". In about two minutes my documents will open, or I can re-click on "My documents" in about 5 seconds and it will open immediately and a second copy of "My documents" opens in about 5 minutes. This is a Dell 300m laptop with XP pro. I spent 45 minutes on the phone with a Dell technician who, I think, finally hung up on me when he was stumped. I tried to reinstall Windows from the disks provided by Dell but I got an error message that said the copy of XP was older than the one currently installed

When I try to open Microsoft Office Word 2003 a window pops up that says window installer then it says installing microsoft office word feature. It stops half way and another window pops up that says Installation error file not found. A required installation file SKU112.CAB could not be found. Original installation source required. If you installed Microsoft Office Standard edition 2003 from cd please insert your cd.
If you installed Microsoft office standard edition 2003 over your computer network please browse to the installation source on your computer. Also a window popped up that says Microsoft word has not been installed for the current user. Please run setup to install application. I don't have the cd its lost. This just started doing this about a month ago. I can't open any files through microsoft office word or power point.

I recently put a new hard drive in my computer. Now whenever I try to start Windows Explorer or Internet Explorer the windows installer starts and the windows will not open until I have cancelled the installer several times. I scanned the registry with Registry Fix and fixed all problems. It still starts every time. Netscape has no like problem starting.

Am trying to install 3.5 .net framework on my xp computer. below are some screenshots that it gives me. Also a log file of the errors. one line in particular gives a path to my backup drive when it should be my C drive. Looks like the registry has the wrong path and don't know where to find it to fix. F is my backup drive.

I will install the new sqlserver and the new visual studio on my test machine. First step is to install version beta 2.0 of the .net framework, and I always had the same error (even after restore my test machine on a previous situation). Did somebody have the same problem ? I Use the visual studio 2005 beta 2 dvd sended by ms.

I boot up my PC it gets to a point when a rectangular box with a blue band at the top appears. Inside the blue band there is the words .NET Framework Initialization Error Inside the box there is a red blob with an X in it and the words :WINDOWSMicrosoft.NETFramework|v2.0.50727mscorwks.dll could not be loaded There is then an OK button which when I press it the PC loads properly. The machine seems to run OK. I am satisfied that I have no viruses or spyware. I am running XP Home SP2 I do not have a Windows disc as my PC came with Windows installed. I have made recovery disks and reinserted them but this has not made any difference.

Maximum must be greater than or equal to 0.I get this same error when trying to download an update from microsoft.

I keep trying to install .net Framework in order to be able to instal a number of other programs. However, when I try to install Framework, I always get a message saying that an error has occured when trying to create a directory in such and such file an the setup shuts down. i know for sure my account has full admin. rights so I know that can't be the problem. Any idea what I can do? As I said, there are other programs I want to install however they say I require .net Framework to install it.

Because of possible corruption i deleted all .net framework files.Since then i have tried to install the .net framework files. i continue to receive a message that reads ERROR 1402 could not open key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionSharedDlls. Verify that you have sufficient access to that key.or contact your support personnel

I have been installing each and every update from microsoft. I now get the Windows Update to install a security patch for Framework.net. It fails to install every time and comes back again and again to install. I did a very quick search on this problem and it seems there are problems concerning how Framework was loaded and what versions youo have.First of all, as far as I know, I have only loaded a new Framework version because a program I downloaded informed me I need this new version. I do not keep track of how I loaded Framework, what versions or anything. Looking as some of these proposed solutions require knowing a lot more about how you loaded them and what versions you have.

I am running version 2002 xp SP2. I need to install microsoft.net 3.5 framework for a software program. I first had to install windows installer 3.1 and did so without any problems. then I started downloading 3.5 framework and got this error message.

So something is wrong with Windows installer. Any time I try to install something, I get the error message: "Error 1719. The Windows Installer Service could not be accessed. i am a my wits end with Error 1606.Could not access network location%USERPROFILE%Favorites,it seems to bring up an installer most times to try and install CDBurnerXP Pro3,but i do not have this program anymore,i deleted it completely!,this error message came up even when i had CDB installed one day-but inever used the program?I get this error message come up if i run certain programsSPYWAREGUARD/SPYWARE BLASTER/REGISTRY MECHANIC/INTERNET CLEANUP(ONTRACK) and also if i try to load ceratin programs from CD also if i try to update a program like today i tried to update ADOBE from v7.0 to version 7.5 but was unable to as i got the damn message again- Error 1606.Could not access network location%USERPROFILE%Favorites.Most other programs run fine and open up fine and update fine even windows update is ok?.

Error 1321. The Installer has insufficient privileges to modify the file C:Program FilesCommon FilesJavaUpdateBase Imagesjre1.6.0.b105core3.zip. I'm using a Compaq 6470NX, running XP. I recently had to do a recovery and of course lost everything. I'm now trying to re-do stuff. I'm sure I'll have a lot more to ask. The error above came when trying to install a java runtime and I've gotten it for other things as well.

Whenever I open my video folder, it closes the explorer and says error. It happens with several .avi file. For Example, I have .avi file called A B C; the explorer closes whenever file A is in the folder. When it's out of the folder, the explorer works just fine without closing. I use Matroska pack codec, is this the problem? I remember on the error message says something about the codec is not compatible?

I have Windows XP on a Sony Vaio, model VGN-FS640. When I click on Add or Remove Programs, I get this message: Windows cannot find 'C:WINDOWSsystem 32undll32.exe'. Make sure you typed the name correctly and then try again. Then it discusses searching for a file. Until recently I have been able to use Add or Remove. The only thing I have done recently that I can think of is use Spyware Detector and Reg. Cure. At the same time, another problem developed, which I'm including, as maybe they are related: I have Belarc Advisor on my computer.
