View 2 RepliesI'm getting the below BSOD when connecting and using the internet at my new apartment after few minutes (usually after 10mins but sometimes less or more than that). This is not happening at my work or when using any other wireless networks.
DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL (wfplwfs.sys)
I'm not sure if it matters but the connection at my apartment is kind of weird... I just followed the instructions to connect to a wireless network first and then setup another broadband PPPoE connection.
Please see attached SFdebugFiles.

I face this BSOD on my windows 8.1. Please read the dmp.file
View 3 Replies View RelatedThis is basically a fresh install. I only really installed steam along with the drivers for my motherboard and gpu. It originally did it while on steam only but has since done it other places. Last night was particularly bad, as it would BSOD and then sit on a black screen while trying to load up. Turning it off and on eventually started it back up. Then it did a weird thing where it would keep rebooting itself. Eventually I shut it down for the night.
specs incase these are needed
Intel Core i5-4460 3.2GHz Quad-CoreGigabyte GA-B85M-DS3H Micro ATX LGA1150
Team Vulcan 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600
Crucial M500 240GB 2.5" SSD
Sapphire Radeon R9 270X 2GB Dual-X
I receive a BSOD about once every day. And it only ever happens while browsing the internet (using google chrome), it NEVER happens while playing games (which I do about 12hrs a day), it only ever happens when browsing the internet.
I've attached the diagnostic stuff ....
From time to time I'm required to use USB Tethering to connect my Nexus 4 (Android 4.4.4) with my laptop so I can access internet (either mobile data or wifi from the phone to the laptop (because sometimes it gets better from where it is)).
The thing is that in around 95% of the times I tether the two systems I get a BSOD with the Watchdog Violation.
In attachment I've added the dump files as I saw in the forum faq.
I just upgrading my Windows System from 7 to 8.1. And computer just keep showing BSOD,
Error code: Kernel Security Check Failure.
I have also attached dumped files.
Very annoying BSOD problem, it tends to happen when surfing the internet and for some reason my internet keeps now coming up with that irritating internet has stopped working error every couple of minutes, I have tried to refresh or reset windows 8 but I cannot because I do not have a recovery partition or USB, I upgraded my version of windows digitally so I am looking to see if there are any other solutions first. I have attached the dmp file.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI've Windows 8 Pro, I've enabled the Hyper-V and I've created two VM's. One is a WinXP and the other is a Win7. They seem to be working fine, however I can't connect to the internet with them or view them on my lan. I've tried using Legacy network Adapters, network adapters, googled to find people saying things like there's issues with my physical network setup...

recently my PC updated when I didn't want it to and now it installed the update 1 "patch" for 8.1 and now my internet driver is screwed up. I tried to remove it now but the network still won't connect. My network driver is the Killer network. I also tried to restore but apparently my PC never made an automatic save. Now what do I do?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a Dell Inspiron 660s running Windows 8.1, and I just did a full boot of Ubuntu 13.10 onto a Dell Optiplex 330 that was previously running Windows XP. My goal is to connect to the internet by using the 660s as a bridge to the internet by connecting the two computers with an ethernet cable.
The level of difficulty: My internet requires you to log into it on a separate browser log in page similar to those in airports and other public Wi-Fi access points except that it requires a username and password to log in. My theory is that if I first log in to the internet on my Windows machine then I can connect to it by simply opening a connection from the Ubuntu OS to the Windows OS. Am I off track here or am I on the right track?
Network malfunction after upgrading win 8 pro 64 to win 8.1
Only IE 11 can connect to the internet. Firefox chrome or other programs not connecting...
I removed Eset disable firewall but nothing work.
I offten play game online, and my network is not fast. So when I playing game, it's usually "lag". I think it is because the modern apps (mail, people, weather...) and other background services auto connect to internet. I can stop or turn off these background services, but I don't know how to turn off or prevent modern apps do that to improve the network speed.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have an HP laptop running Windows 8. On 09/15, it did an automatic update to Windows. After that I am not able to browse internet using any browser - IE, firefox, Chrome. My laptop connects to internet. Apps like yahoo messenger works fine. But browsers wont.
I searched internet and as per some forums I tried 'netsh winsock reset ' command. After that browser will connect to internet, but after a minute or so, it stops connecting. Also, I noticed that when I do a restart, the laptop doesnt restart. It shows the 'Restarting' screen for hours and I have to manaully power it off.
I have no clue what update was pushed by microsoft which messed up my laptop. The laptop is pretty new and I did not have any issues until the windows update.
I got a brand-new X1 Carbon ThinkPad about a week ago, and I have been experiencing various BSODs, which I have uploaded the minidump files of here.
They have varied from the IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL error to KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED. I thought that the problem was related to my graphics card (it still very well may be), so I removed and redownloaded the graphics driver, but to no avail; the BSODs still occurred. The only thing that the various BSODs have in common is that one of the red highlighted files in BlueScreenView is always ntoskrnl.exe.
So, yesterday is the first time this has happened. It has never happened before. The first time it happened yesterday, I Was watching some TV shows online, and then I got the PAGE_FAULT(...) error code.
I tried running my Anti_Malware scanner to see if that could pick something up. It crashed again just as it started.
So I tried Advanced SystemCare. Again, same problem.
And it just keeps happening.
I tried refreshing my computer to see if that would do anything, but it crashed during that too.
I ran the SF Diagnostic program and I have the .DMP files (But I can't seem to upload them. Maybe I'm trying to upload the wrong ones, I don't know.)
Anyway, these are the specs of my system. HP ENVY DV-7 7270CA (less than 8 months old) running Windows 8 (as I wasn't able to update to 8.1. I got the 0x80000004 error, or whatever it was. I can't remember exactly), 8GB DDR3 1600MHz RAM, Intel Core i7 3630QM, NVIDIA GT630M (2GB) GPU, and a 1TB 5400RPM HDD. Don't know what brand, I didn't check.
-Ram-TEST lasted nine hours and successfully completed
-Change the motherboard (ASUS Sabertooth 990FX From R2.0 to MSI 890FX-GD70, the latter shall use at this time, the other I sold it)
-Changed video card (ATI 6870 Updated NVIDIA 760)
-Replaced SSD where the system resides, had a value SMART wrong, incorrectly replaced by Samsung (EVO 250GB)
-Analyzed by-DUMP bluescreenanalizer and semrpe the same file with the same bug tails
-Windows-formatted 3 times already

Now I'll explain when I turn on my pc at COLD (the day after practically) happens to me .. and not always! However, if you reboot immediately after work PERFECTLY, and for hours and hours! without presenting problems or other, and even under stress. The next day, however, having been off the night it happens it happens .. this blue screen without doing anything specific! Coincidentally, sometimes even if I do nothing on windows just turned on, or a complete on the internet, or other, causally!
I started a thread a while ago and You Fellas diagnosed the problem was the faulty RAM. So I bought and replaced using 2 other slot of memory that wasn't used before (i have 4 slots). It took some time, but sadly it started crashing again. 4 dmps and routine stuff attached. It happens usually in games but it happens sometimes in desktop so its random for me. What component or anything else is corrupted.
View 9 Replies View RelatedWindows 8.1, I can reboot, login, and get to the desktop, but then about 2 or 3 minutes later it locks up and crashes with a DPC_WATCHDOG_ERROR.
I am attaching the file from diagnostic tool ....
For about two weeks I've sometimes been having a BSOD within five after startup (always, otherwise I won't get a BSOD until I restart):
"DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL (iaStorA.sys)"
I've been posting on Techforums here: [URL]
And thought I might as well post here as well for other opinions while I test the drivers.
The crashes usually occur when the computer is not in use. I will move the mouse and either the screen will come to life... or the computer has crashed.
I updated NVIDEA drivers end of July and thought I fixed it. But apparently not.
Since yesterday, I keep getting Kernel Inpage Error like every 15 mins I turnd the computer on. It runs on pre-installed Windows 8 after I bought it new a year ago. In the past, I have been getting BSOD, but it is usually after I wake it from sleep mode and the error is IRQL EQUAL OR LESS ..

View 1 Replies View RelatedAbout 2 - 3 weeks ago, I've got a lot of bluescreens, and I've solved it by removing my USB wireless adapter and connecting to my router by using an Ethernet cable, this reduced the amount of them, I think that I only got one after that. In the last sunday, my hard drive broke and bought a new one in monday, and after formatting it and reinstalling Windows 8, the bluescreens returned and now they're more than ever!!!! And one thing I have noticed, is that two of them appeared when I was copying big files which total size was about 60 GB from a directory to another inside the C: .
I'm starting to think that this is related to the motherboard or something like that.
I walk away from my computer for a bit and come back to a BSOD. This happens quite regular. I have run my system both stock and highly overclocked. When it started BSODing on me I put it back to stock to see if that worked but it has not worked.

I Have been Having BSOD for a while now and have tried multiple time to self Fix it short of a full Format. Before I Format windows, I have tried Reinstalling My Nvidia drivers to no avail. I Even got New ram sticks recently and when The BSOD started i replaced them thinking it was that but they continued anyway.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI manually installed windows updates yesterday. They seemed to have installed fine. I rebooted and went about my day...early evening i stepped away from my laptop for a few minute and came back to the lock screen. It had rebooted from a BSOD while I was away...I wasn't doing much on the computer at the time. Comodo dragon browser open playing a facebook game and winamp streaming some music...
View 6 Replies View RelatedI just purchased a new SSHD for my HP DV9830US laptop that was running Vista 64-bit. Purchased Windows 8.1 for a clean install on the new SSHD.
I noticed I would get random BSOD doing different tasks and what-not. Updated my BIOS and some other random drivers, and it seemed to fix the problem for the most part.
Then I installed Steam and Counterstrike, and while playing, the game will freeze and my system just does a hard reboot midgame after the freeze. The audio file that was last playing during the game does a repetitive laggy sound during the freeze.
I have used the SF_Debug_tool and attached the file.
