It's been a while since I have this ("driver_irql_not_less_or_equal, ndis.sys or netio.sys") error and it occurs whenever I try to download a file with uTorrent and a few times while downloading with IDM, I hope that my PC is not dead.
View 1 Replies View RelatedMy PC keeps crashing and as far as I remember it happens while I'm using uTorrent, but I don't know for sure.
I'm using Windows 8 64 bit and I attached my SF file.
I'm currently experiencing constant BSOD specifially the driver error irql tcpip.sys error for about every 15-20 minutes.
I have attached the zip file containing the computer info for reference.
It is really difficult to use the computer now.
Lenovo IdeaPad Y480 (Model 2093), Windows 8.1, everything is updated. I was having some WiFi issues which were solved by updating the WiFi driver, now it's giving me the BSOD "DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL (NETIO.SYS)" whenever I have uTorrent running.

The issue was caused by NetWorx, which I was using to monitor my bandwidth. Uninstalled and no more BSOD.
I've been having some problems after installing some updates. For example, after installing these updates, every time I run uTorrent, I get a Blue Screen of Death, almost instantly. The problem is not with the software because I always used the same and nothing ever happened like that. The Blue Screens of Death were more frequent when the software was run. I researched a lot and saw a lot of people reported problems with the update KB2821895 and have not yet emerged any official response or fix patch from Microsoft. I was instructed to run in the command prompt, the following commands:
sfc / scannow
dism / online / clean-up / restoreheath
The problem is that when I run the sfc / scannow, after checking 100%, he is just standing there, frozen in 100% with no response.
And running *** / restorehealth, there was much delay and it got stuck at 20% and after a long time went to 40% where it has remained for hours, so it haven't finished the way it should.
I am running windows 8.1 Pro. When i run uTorrent, my system crashes after a few minutes. I have tried reinstalling the OS but the problem still exists. I have attached dumps....
View 2 Replies View RelatedMy web browsers only seem to work when Im downloading something with utorrent. If I stop utorrent from downloading, my browser(chrome) no longer loads a website or loads extremely slow. When Im downloading something on utorrent everything is fine, internet works great. I had to limit the download rate so it doesnt use all my speed though. Its kind of like my internet has to charge up by download on utorrent, then feeds my web browser speed and/or connectivity.
The problem seem to have started when I was using connectify to create a hotspot for my neighbor to use for internet off of me without him connecting directly to my wifi. I have uninstalled connectify, did a dns flush, and did a netsh int ip reset.
When downloading with uTorrent the general browsing is either very slow or impossible (page not responsive). I have implemented following tweaks but have not given it enough time so don't know if they work.
The tweaks were;
Lowering net.max_halfopen to 4
bt.connect_speed to 4
disabling DHT
disabling UPnP
lowering the global maximum number of connections to 200? 100? 50? (I have chosen 50)
disabling UPnP and NAT-PMP
lowering the upload slots to 4
limiting the upload limit to 100 kB/s
enabling outgoing protocol encryption
I have set listening port to 6881 & have port forwarded this port
I have a fiber optic connection of 95 Mbps downloading and 60 Mbps uploading.
My computer started freezing while downloading large files in uTorrent, About 10 minutes after starting uTorrent the PC starts to be really really slow and 1 minute after it freezes, only restarted/shutdown solve the problem, I've been using uTorrent for years and never had this problem, I mean it happens when I download a 15GB movie, but two months ago I downloaded a 170GB TV series and no problems were with that.
So I thought maybe its a problem in the HDD (not in the space, I have aprox. 150GB free in C and 220GB in D), I don't really know what to do.
So, yesterday is the first time this has happened. It has never happened before. The first time it happened yesterday, I Was watching some TV shows online, and then I got the PAGE_FAULT(...) error code.
I tried running my Anti_Malware scanner to see if that could pick something up. It crashed again just as it started.
So I tried Advanced SystemCare. Again, same problem.
And it just keeps happening.
I tried refreshing my computer to see if that would do anything, but it crashed during that too.
I ran the SF Diagnostic program and I have the .DMP files (But I can't seem to upload them. Maybe I'm trying to upload the wrong ones, I don't know.)
Anyway, these are the specs of my system. HP ENVY DV-7 7270CA (less than 8 months old) running Windows 8 (as I wasn't able to update to 8.1. I got the 0x80000004 error, or whatever it was. I can't remember exactly), 8GB DDR3 1600MHz RAM, Intel Core i7 3630QM, NVIDIA GT630M (2GB) GPU, and a 1TB 5400RPM HDD. Don't know what brand, I didn't check.
-Ram-TEST lasted nine hours and successfully completed
-Change the motherboard (ASUS Sabertooth 990FX From R2.0 to MSI 890FX-GD70, the latter shall use at this time, the other I sold it)
-Changed video card (ATI 6870 Updated NVIDIA 760)
-Replaced SSD where the system resides, had a value SMART wrong, incorrectly replaced by Samsung (EVO 250GB)
-Analyzed by-DUMP bluescreenanalizer and semrpe the same file with the same bug tails
-Windows-formatted 3 times already
The temperatures are good .. I also have a Corsair H100i and a fairly spacious case that allows good ventilation (CM Storm Trooper)

I repeat that I do not overclock, the frequencies are those of series
Now I'll explain when I turn on my pc at COLD (the day after practically) happens to me .. and not always! However, if you reboot immediately after work PERFECTLY, and for hours and hours! without presenting problems or other, and even under stress. The next day, however, having been off the night it happens it happens .. this blue screen without doing anything specific! Coincidentally, sometimes even if I do nothing on windows just turned on, or a complete on the internet, or other, causally!
I started a thread a while ago and You Fellas diagnosed the problem was the faulty RAM. So I bought and replaced using 2 other slot of memory that wasn't used before (i have 4 slots). It took some time, but sadly it started crashing again. 4 dmps and routine stuff attached. It happens usually in games but it happens sometimes in desktop so its random for me. What component or anything else is corrupted.
View 9 Replies View RelatedWindows 8.1, I can reboot, login, and get to the desktop, but then about 2 or 3 minutes later it locks up and crashes with a DPC_WATCHDOG_ERROR.
I am attaching the file from diagnostic tool ....
For about two weeks I've sometimes been having a BSOD within five after startup (always, otherwise I won't get a BSOD until I restart):
"DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL (iaStorA.sys)"
I've been posting on Techforums here: [URL]
And thought I might as well post here as well for other opinions while I test the drivers.
The crashes usually occur when the computer is not in use. I will move the mouse and either the screen will come to life... or the computer has crashed.
I updated NVIDEA drivers end of July and thought I fixed it. But apparently not.
Since yesterday, I keep getting Kernel Inpage Error like every 15 mins I turnd the computer on. It runs on pre-installed Windows 8 after I bought it new a year ago. In the past, I have been getting BSOD, but it is usually after I wake it from sleep mode and the error is IRQL EQUAL OR LESS ..

View 1 Replies View RelatedAbout 2 - 3 weeks ago, I've got a lot of bluescreens, and I've solved it by removing my USB wireless adapter and connecting to my router by using an Ethernet cable, this reduced the amount of them, I think that I only got one after that. In the last sunday, my hard drive broke and bought a new one in monday, and after formatting it and reinstalling Windows 8, the bluescreens returned and now they're more than ever!!!! And one thing I have noticed, is that two of them appeared when I was copying big files which total size was about 60 GB from a directory to another inside the C: .
I'm starting to think that this is related to the motherboard or something like that.
I walk away from my computer for a bit and come back to a BSOD. This happens quite regular. I have run my system both stock and highly overclocked. When it started BSODing on me I put it back to stock to see if that worked but it has not worked.
View 9 Replies View RelatedI Have been Having BSOD for a while now and have tried multiple time to self Fix it short of a full Format. Before I Format windows, I have tried Reinstalling My Nvidia drivers to no avail. I Even got New ram sticks recently and when The BSOD started i replaced them thinking it was that but they continued anyway.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI manually installed windows updates yesterday. They seemed to have installed fine. I rebooted and went about my day...early evening i stepped away from my laptop for a few minute and came back to the lock screen. It had rebooted from a BSOD while I was away...I wasn't doing much on the computer at the time. Comodo dragon browser open playing a facebook game and winamp streaming some music...
View 6 Replies View RelatedI just purchased a new SSHD for my HP DV9830US laptop that was running Vista 64-bit. Purchased Windows 8.1 for a clean install on the new SSHD.
I noticed I would get random BSOD doing different tasks and what-not. Updated my BIOS and some other random drivers, and it seemed to fix the problem for the most part.
Then I installed Steam and Counterstrike, and while playing, the game will freeze and my system just does a hard reboot midgame after the freeze. The audio file that was last playing during the game does a repetitive laggy sound during the freeze.
I have used the SF_Debug_tool and attached the file.
So far I've had a BSOD twice, once while windows was performing a back-up and the other I don't remember the conditions that caused it. Wasn't playing any games or running any applications that have a heavy load on the cpu or gpu. No updates available for anything or from manufacture.
I'll included a Diagnostic report.
I have recently been having the BSOD come up while i am watching films or occasionally just using my laptop, not quite sure what caused it as it only started about 2-3 weeks ago, i have tried restoring it from previous start points saved on my computer but it still happens, I have followed the instructions required and have attached the appropriate file required.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI've been trying to update to Windows 8.1 but I keep having issues. I constantly have failing Windows Updates. I have tried a couple different things, renaming the SoftwareDistribution file to .old, Windows Repair, and full clean install of Windows 8. I for the life of me can't figure out what's going on.
Currently, I am unable to install the SF_Diagnostic tool for some reason. It's hung up on downloading the necessary files from Windows Features. I have a mini dump from Windows 8 attached and will try to update it with the SF_Diag tool if it ever installs.
Edit: had to manually enable .NET Framework in order to get the diagnostic tool to install. The mini dump is still the same regardless so I'll keep that there.
I keep getting a blue screen no clue what the cause might be, rar file containing two dmp files.
OS : win 8.1
I am getting a BSOD when I try intalling the drivers for my graphic card, the version to try install is a Geforce 340.52 Driver, each time it was unsuccessful install, in the middle of the install it totally crashes. So I am totally lost in what is happening . I am getting in BSOD as error: SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOD_HANDLED (nvlddmkm.sys) while is installing drivers and from system restart is error: SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION (nvlddmkm.sys).
View 5 Replies View RelatedThis is basically a fresh install. I only really installed steam along with the drivers for my motherboard and gpu. It originally did it while on steam only but has since done it other places. Last night was particularly bad, as it would BSOD and then sit on a black screen while trying to load up. Turning it off and on eventually started it back up. Then it did a weird thing where it would keep rebooting itself. Eventually I shut it down for the night.
