Mar 2, 2014
I have replaced every piece of hardware on this build and I cant get rid of the memory management bsod. It happens randomly. During games, installations, boot up, basically whenever it feels like it. I tried a different HDD as well. SSD and standard gives the same result.
PC specs are
mobo msi z87-g43
cpu i5 4570
radeon r260x
8gb corsair ram
550w psu
windows 8.1
I attached the zip file that was requested.

My computer was fine one day then, today when I was just browsing the internet it crashes. The computer restarts and then tells me there was a problem, then when I log in I get nothing but a black screen but my mouse can still move around. sometimes when starting up it takes me to the page and asks what to do. I tried refreshing the pc first and it did nothing. I then started it in safe mode and ran sfc /scannow on command prompt and it told me there were problems but it couldn't solve some of them it gave me something to look up but once again it crashed and restarted before I could read it.
I've had the computer for just over a year and it has always had windows 8.

I re-installed Windows 8 , everything worked fine until today I started having BSOD's saying I have "Memory Management" , "IRQL Not Less Or Equal" , "kernel security check failure" , "DPC Watchdog Violation", So... I attached the files from the Diagnostic Tool.
It started with AMD Catalyst Control Center starting to crash on boot, so I re-installed it and it works fine, but them Google Chrome starts to crash or just the extensions or open tabs

My new PC is crashing constantly with the following errors:
MEMORY_MANAGEMENT (About 10 times per day) SPECIAL_POOL_DETECTED_MEMORY_CORRUPTION (This actually happened 3-4 times today (once while I was typing this message) PFN_LIST_CORRUPT (Maybe 4-5 times per day...usually when I'm trying to update STEAM?) KERNAL_SECURITY_CHECK_FAILURE (Only saw this once and it was when I was installing WoW)
There seems to be no method to this things madness.

After spending hoursonline on these BSODs, I finally decided to spit the error out somewhere since BSOD can occur out of nowhere and situation is different for everybody.
My friend and I bought Asus N55 and N56VM on 27th Feb 2013 respectively. We both had Windows 7. Unfortunately, after a few updates, I got BSOD on the very first day. I've had Vaio F113fx/b before.
After days of trials on figuring out problem and experiencing BSODs 3-4 times a day on average, I planned to update to Windows 8. For the first 7-8 hours after install, it was clean and there were no BSODs but right after few games installations and updates, boom, had a BSOD on 'Memory Management 0x0000001a".
Therefore, I installed BlueScreen Viewer to find out what was causing these BSODs and same as before (in Windows 7), it's ntoskrnl.exe.
I've attached minidump files ....

The computer would just freeze up and not go to blue screen, However, since upgrading to Windows 8.1 it has been giving me a blue screen and error message, what could be wrong. I am positive the errors over the years have all been by the same, as what causes them and what occurs after is always the same.
After booting up, if I decide to play a game, practically any that require 3-d graphics, the game will start to slow down and the audio will start to crackle. Then, the computer will freeze up. When I ran Windows Vista it just stayed frozen, but now during Windows 8.1 it goes to blue screen and shuts off. After rebooting, everything runs perfectible normally and I can run any game perfectly without slowdown or freezing. Then, after shutting down and rebooting another day the same problem will arise.
It's not necessarily the worst error, but I don't quite like leaving my computer in sleep mode as it still drains some power. From what I gathered for Blue Screen View, it seems to be a memory issue. The first error code I received when using Windows 8.1 was PFN list corrupt. That prompted me to test and reseat the ram. Windows Memory Diagnostic came out clean, but the error persists. The latest time I have had this problem, the error was Memory Management, 0x0000001a.
I have updated the BIOS to latest version and have overclocked my RAM, however, the problem existed before O.C.

I've had this computer for almost a year now and it's been bluescreening on and off since day 1. The most common errors seem to be (in no particular order) Memory Management, IRQL Not Less Or Equal, and Kernel Security Check Failure. Occasionally, the blue screen will be replaced by a solid red screen with no text, but the computer still restarts as normal. I've attached the report from the SF Debug Tool.

I have an Asus laptop model X501A. A few months ago I had to get the hard drive replaced which Asus did themselves and ever since then I have been getting BSOD and low memory errors while playing Dota 2. My computer always ran the game fine before this. I can still run the game for the most part but I get the memory error every time. I can usually just close the error and continue playing, but it has gotten to the point where I blue screen multiple times a day during game. I have also heard that Windows 8.1 might be the reasoning behind this as well. I do not know much about computers and I am not sure whether I used the SF Diagnostic tool correctly, but I am attaching the zip file.

I can't remember the exact details but my computer Blue Screened with something about kernel memory exception (not entirely sure). This has been going on for weeks and I normally just ignore it.
Unfortunately its getting worse and I have a feeling my hardware is at fault but I'm not entirely sure.

I have a new laptop and am trying to work out the kinks
Its a new Windows 8.1 build. But seems to be causing all kinds of problems. And honestly i'm not sure where to start trying to fix it. I think its driver related but have tried updating a few drivers with varying success (as even this has led to some BSODs)

It asked me to send details to windows and I sent. I don't know what's the problem and these are the only other problems I experienced:
1)Slower cold booting
2)It takes a longer time for the lights to off after shutting down. We can only turn the switch off after the lights off

I am currently working on a desktop and ended up formatting the HDD it was in RAID, but removed the other and switched connection to SATA...
Wiped everything off of it and loaded Windows onto it,
On EVERY boot I get the same error message
"Fatal Error - failed to locate memory table(s) to make adjustments, press any key to continue"
I press any key and it continues to boot into the windows..
I have done some research on other forums, and end up finding the same issue "reload windows there are some file issues" but that's not my issue, because i CHANGED the RAM 2 times with different ram AND installed windows 4 different times.

I received a supposedly Manufacturer Refurbished HP ENVY TS 15 Notebook PC that I bought on Ebay. Since then, I've had multiple different BSOD errors while performing different tasks or even when doing nothing. Drivers seem to be updated and I'm concerned that this could be a hardware issue.
Some of the errors I got are:
KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED*
KernelSecurity Check Failure
DPC Watchdog Violation

I am getting a BSOD since one week randomly with the message IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL. BlueScreen Viewer showes me, that it is caused by the driver ntoskrnl.exe. Before I got this BSOD I updated my Windows 8.1 to Windows 8.1.1 . Since this time, this error happens randomly!
My system specs are the following:
Laptop: Asus S400 CA
CPU: Intel Core I5 3317 U @ 1,70 GHz
Memory: 8 GB
Graphics: Intel HD Grpahics 4000
Mainbord: Asustek S400 CA
Antivirus: Avast! Internet Security (Version: 140512-0)
Before I got this IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR _EQUAL error I also got the BSOD Driver_Power_State_Failure. I figured out, that it might be the Bluetooth Driver, as buescreenviewer stated the driver causing the error is btfilter.sys.
I attached also a SF Diagnostic Tool File!.

I've recently upgraded my motherboard, processor and RAM to an ASUS Z87-K, Intel i5-4670K, and Corsair XMS3 1x8GB, and ever since I have been experiencing what appear to be video card related crashes. I am using a Zotac Geforce GTX 560 AMP, and a Corsair 750w PSU and did not have issues before the upgrade. The computer will crash to desktop while playing high performance games, sometimes almost immediately, sometimes after an hour or two. This results in an event log message like this:
Code:
-System -Provider [ Name]Application Error -EventID1000 [ Qualifiers]0 Level2 Task100 Keywords0x80000000000000 -TimeCreated [ SystemTime]2014-06-18T19:01:27.000000000Z EventRecordID5565 ChannelApplication ComputerHomeCore Security -EventData Shogun2.exe 1.1.0.0 507716b8 nvwgf2um.dll 9.18.13.3788 537a8e25 c0000005 00290d6e 18c0 01cf8b1863dbf93b
[Code] .....
This is bad enough, but I have also been receiving BSOD in more sever cases. My dump files are zipped and attached here.
In my troubleshooting to date I have:
- started upgrade from clean Windows 8.1 install
- checked all my power supply settings,
- checked all internal connections
- made sure the RAM was running at the appropriate frequency and power settings
- updated my BIOS and all my drivers manually, included several clean driver installs for my graphics card
- conducted Windows Repair
- checked the temperature: CPU less than 40C, GPU a fair bit higher in mid 70's
- tested memory for damage, came back clean
- ran dskchk, came back clean
- ran dxdiag, says there are no problems
Note: I've been using Shogun 2 to run tests, but it happens on every game I've tried (Arma 3 and Planetside 2 through Steam, and FarCry 3 through Uplay)
My next step will most likely be another complete format and reinstall, and then if it still remains I would have to assume my video card is shot, a horrible coincidence that it happened right when I upgraded everything else.

I have this problem with my laptop for a week ago, I purchased this laptop (hp pavilion dv6 2170ee) 4 years ago. Now I'm currently using Windows 8.1 PRO on it. I recently upgraded my RAM from 4 GB to 8 GB (a year ago). I'm using this laptop for work purpose, graphics like 3ds max, Photoshop and Autocad.
Well the problem started by getting a lot of unexpected shutdowns with BSOD with random errors ..
here's what I wrote:
MEMORY_MANAGEMENT
SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED
PFN_LIST_CO
IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL
KERNEL_SECURITY_CHECK_FAILURE
the memory management error & IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL error are the most appearing , although the memory management is the #1 error happens. This leads me to test my RAMS , I ran a memory check (windows memory check & bios memory check) both gave me no errors. I even replaced my RAMS with the ones which originally came with the laptop, same errors happened again. I tried booting in safe mode, at that time no errors occured , I though it might be the drivers , I uninstalled the graphic driver and restarted the system everything was fine until I tried to install windows updates, OS asks me to reboot ,after that system started and I didn't touch even the mouse ,it crashed with errors again

I have upgraded from Windows 7 to Windows 8 about a year ago or so. When Windows 8.1 was released I upgraded again. But ever since I upgraded to Windows 8 I sometimes get BSODs, and after to uprading to 8.1, I get BSODs several times. My computer boots, everything is going okay until I log into Windows.. after 30 seconds the BSOD hits. That happens 5 or 6 times and then everything works just fine. I have a Intel i5-2320 quad core 3.0 GHz processor, 4 GB RAM, 64 bit.. Also it's a Lenovo All in one PC. There's more info in the folder I uploaded.
