is it possible to disable option to remember passwords for each site ? It really annoys to me answer on any new site login to choose not for this site, Chrome has option to disable this, but haven't seen ut on IE?

Rang the customer services who told me to click the x on my screen - when I said that that would mean I am still logged in to the site I was told they would log me out their end but I am still logged in. I have switched off and switched on my 8.1 laptop but I am still logged in to the site. and how do I log off or is the prob the other end.

The Photo Album option still exists but where has the Single Photo option gone?

When I disable Flash through "Manage Add-ons" I find that I can still play some YouTube videos (I assume using html5) but when the video ends my screen goes blank for a second and then the computer goes to the login screen. I have just upgraded Windows 8 on my Surface Pro to Windows 8.1 and quickly seen an option to enable/disable browsing history to be sent to Microsoft on one of the initial custom Settings pages which launch straight after an upgrade. I regret not have disabled this option as I don't want to have my browsing history be sent to them.
I have spent an hour Googling how this option can be disabled on Windows 8.1 with no luck and due to a lack of screenshots of the custom settings menu online, I cannot quote the exact wording of the checkbox option.

Today when I try and access my folders I just getting a message saying 'no messages from the last 2 weeks', meaning I cannot access all those useful emails that I have kept on purpose without using gmail through chrome. View 9 Replies View RelatedBasically, whats happening is, it says connected to the internet, however, it won't load any site. We've attempted this on Internet Explorer, Firefox, and Google Chrome. The weird thing is, we have found that she can connect to sites by using the site's IP, but not with the actual address. Also, Skype is working perfectly fine with the connection. Its just, web addresses that cause a problem.
Running on Windows 8 and her computer model is a Satellite c55-A and the processor is intel(r) core(TM) i3-3120m cpu @ 2.50ghz 2.50 ghz. The manufacturer is Toshiba.
Also, this was a problem encountered on any router connected to. However, if we can not get this solved, will resort to attempting to restore to factory settings.
When ever I click a mailto link in either Chrome, IE, Firefox and Opera it opens up a new chrome browser window. Before I installed windows 8 I had it opening up Outlook 2010 new email, now it opens up a new Chrome browser window.
How do I change it in windows 8 to when I click a link in any browser to open up Outlook 2010 new email as it did before?
My computer is going to the lab.
However, it has logon details, including email's password.
I don't want the techies call me and ask for the password.
