Oct 14, 2011I have my password on my Windows 7 laptop set as a Russian word, and my default language is English. Usually, when I am prompted for my password, there is a button I can click to choose the keyboard language, so I can type it in. However, I restarted my computer and the button has vanished. This means that I cannot choose the Russian alphabet to type my password in, and my computer has become unusable. I do not have a password reset disk. Is there any way for me to fix this problem? If you need more information.

Nov 8, 2012ive been having some trouble with my language bar. i can see the back on my desktop, but as soon as i left click on the icon (to change settings/change languages) the pop-up menu only appears for about 0.5 of a second and then disappears.

Jan 30, 2012I have been installing Portuguese PhotoStory 3 on my windows 7 machine.It install OK. I reboot. When I invoke Photostory 3 I am expecting to find it in Portuguese, ... but its still in English.i used the official PhotoStory3Portuguese(Brazil).msi?Even if I install the Portuguese version, does it still look at the OS language when invoked and say "well, your OS is in English so I am going to display in English"?

Nov 23, 2009I have a new Windows 7 Pro 64, and Windows detects a Samsung 4828FN 3in1 printer and a Canon LIDE 80 scanner in "Devices & Printers" but appears to be unable to find drivers. I downloaded & installed Win 7 drivers from both mfg sites, but neither appears in their appropriate windows when called up. The scanner on the printer works and saves to files, so I know the USB connections are working. Canon Toolbox Settings cannot detect.
Of course the HP 1000 printer has no Win 7 drivers to download, so that one does not work either,
Also, when I try and select new printers from a "Print" drop-down menu, I get a message "The Active Directory Domain Sevices is Currently Unavailable"
Anyone have suggestions?

Jan 16, 2013I recently got 2 BSOD referring to Acpi.sys. I couldn't found out what were causing these BSOD's and I'm asking for Your support. Just before the BSOD appears, the PC is sluggish. My computer is a DELL PRECISION T5500, hex core processor XEON 5675, video card: Quadro 4000, 12GB RAM ECC, 1.5 TB HDD and Im running Windows 7-64 bit I have the latest drivers.

I tried connecting with a DSL cable from my friend's Pc, but I couldn't connect to the internet. So i tried setting up a "Dial-up Connection" , I followed the instructions, i restarted my laptop, but didn't work either because I needed a password and username from the internet provider. After that, I tried to look for other people's wireless networks again, but this box appeared:"Not connected. No connections are available" I used the troubleshoot option at the bottom, but it said "Troubleshooting couldn't identify the problem". I tried turning off my Windows Firewall ("Home or work (private) networks" and "Public Networks"), but the problem is still going on.

Apr 17, 2012I managed to figure out that I have to use the VCenter Converter Standalone itself separately to get it to work out better. I am currently able to boot my VM, but my files are corrupted so it sends me to a restore method. I attempted to restore from my external HD and it seemed to work, but then it gave me an error. Obviously it has something to do with the error i got at around 98% while converting.This is on the left side of the box.

Nov 11, 2009I get the above error when I try to run discovery on my laptop connected to a router. It should pick up the desktop pc and also the NAS i have attached to the router as well. I can map a drive to the NAS but cannot see it in the network view. I can also open the web based browser to the NAS and the router.
