For my.yahoo to open, I have to sign in with a username and a password. Until recently, my.yahoo would open automatically without my signing in. However, once I started fooling around with LastPass (a pw manager) and two other cookie eaters (CCleaner and Maxthon's Smart Cookie Cleaner), in order to get to my.yahoo, I now have to sign in. A site I visit occasionally - Sport Lemon - From Bar - From Sport - Watch Live Sports Online - FromSport - recently changed names and since then the home page shows but all of the links return a "404 - Not Found" error. Tried with four browsers - Opera (2), IE9, Waterfox 16 - with caches cleared. Works fine at public library and ISP says it's ok for them. Firewall is Comodo and Java is disabled, tho it doesn't seem the site's using it. Win 7x64

View 1 Replies View RelatedRecently whenever I've used an .exe installer I'll get an error as soon as I click start after choosing the directory, in the picture example I include below, it's of SA-MP, but it happens with any installer I try and use. Installers have worked previously, it's only recently it's stopped working.The error is;Error opening files for writing?
What I've tried;
-Full system scan with Comodo AV.
-Revealed hidden files and folders.
-Run the installer in both compatability (Even though it does work on Windows 7, and as an Administrator).
-Also done the scan on CMD (can't remember exact command).
Brief Info:
OS: Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit.
She did the annual update and it failed leaving no copy of the program on the machine.Long story short I got her into her Mcafee account and dl'd the updated version. It would not install because of a Java error. This is also the problem preventing with her logging onto her bank account.So I updated her Java to version 7 and confirmed it on Java's site.Still no joy. Mcafee will not install for the same reason and by the way, she is updated to SP1 on Win 7.I'll put a log from TSG SysInfo up a bit later.
