Set Back The Administrative Access For Log On Account?

I have disabled my Windows 7 log on prompt option, in order to run my "Auto Power on" application to log on automatically and schedule to start my torrent application.I have achieved disabling the Win 7 from asking from log on user name and password by Go to Start and type netplwiz in the Start Search and hit EnterThe User Accounts dialogue box will be displayed.NOTE: The abve image is I have just taken from the web for the reference and it is not the real imageNow uncheck Users must a enter username and password to use this computer option and pressOK. Thats all, now reboot your system and you will never see the login window any more.But after now I want to set back to normal default prompt screen while logon.In order to do this the OS is asking for administrative password, but in that prompt dialogue box, it is not allowing me to go ahead and enter my administrative password by enabling "YES" button(the yes button is disabled).NOTE: The above image is the real issue which I am facingThe actually problem is the dialogue box prompts and asking to enter the administrative password when ever I try installing software, but it is not showing any text input box to enter the password and also the "yes" button in the box is not enabled, only I can able to click "no" button

I cannot get into my administrative account but unable to access any file or folder. Windows cannot access the specified file or device. You may not have the appropriate permission to access this item, is the prompt I get.

My administrative account is totally useless right now. All of my icons are in word document form and only open in that form which makes everything useless, I can not do anything on this account. I don't know why it happened one day it was just like that so maybe its a virus but i do not know what to do to fix it. I have restored, backed up, everything i could think of to bring it back to the point before it messed up but no such luck.

When I try to log in as the administrater I get a 'failed to log in' messagethen logs off, returning to the user log in page. I am able to log in through the other two user accounts, but not my administrative account. I tried to find a solution throgh safe mode, failed attempt!

After log in desktop it's all blue and only can move the cursor, other accounts work fine it's just the administrative account that wont open, I had tried from restoring to a previous point (it only gives me 1 and it's when the problem started) and did not work, I tried system repair and still don't work, I ran malware clean up and virus check and mostly every cleaning there is, and still nothing. (Btw I am running windows 7 ultimate.)

spent an hour searching for a topic like this - and I know the answer is out there - but I cannot find it. Can anyone point me to the right answer?I have 2 Windows 7 PCs on a switch. I can see the "Users" folder on the other PC over the network from both sides. But trying to open the administrative share (SHCPCC$) Windows throws me "Access denied".From another computer I can get my hands on - no problem. I can access the admin share without hassle.Why is one computer allowed, another not? I cannot figure out a difference between the systems. Small maybe - the user names I'm trying from, is the same on both computers. But I even try using login account "SHCPCSirHC" from SH2PC, and vice versa, "SH2PCSirHC" from SHCPC, passwords are the same. Nothing, just "Access denied", as if the passwords were wrong.

i start my pc up (from being off) and get logged into a temp user profile. It tells me that i cannot acess my user profile and all information will be deleted on logging out. I've looked online for a soloution but none work for me ,I really dont know how to resolve this problem,I have limited knowledge and computer skills. i really dont want to scrap this drive and start over.

I received my new laptop from the administrator at work, it came with a browser and recycle bin on the desktop. I found a work around for removing the recycle bin so that is no prob. However...
When I delete the browser icon it asks for an administrator login (which I have been given) I enter this and the icon is then deleted. However the icon keeps coming back! This seems to happen when I log back on or sometimes just after a few hours.

I was using my computer and wanted to change the security setting and access level of the folder where the windows was installed. When i right clicked on the folder and then selected the properties,then the security tab and i saw many users ,which i think i have not created,. So, I deleted all the users and something went wrong now as I lost access to the whole folder of windows, Folder C.I am logged in as an administrator but still i don't have access to anything. I can't manage accounts, I can't create new accounts and I am really confused .

I just got a job working for a production company based in the UK, they have set up an email address online thru the company for me, and said thaty I need a client to support the mail and to be able to view it...they suggested I download outlook express. I have a 64 bit laptop with Windows 7 and I searched for the proper program but apparently Outlook Express is not compatible with my system. So now I just need to link the company email address to my hotmail account (which has recently been converted over to outlook anyways. So i linked both email accounts so that the company emails are delivered to my hotmail account, but I have to access the company email address to click on the verification link first before the mail will be delivered.how to access that email account. Need assistance on how to Logon: Administrator user account & Password Denied..Problems on computer with Google Chrome Uninstalled everything Google using Revo. okay so i have kind of a huge problem. well not really i'm just being a bit dramatic. lol. i have recently gotten a new laptop (hp pavillion dv7-6157cl / windows 7 home premium) and since i set it up i have had a problem signing into facebook. the only time i was able to do so is the day i got it, when my sister installed some add-on but it stopped working less than an hour later. i am able to access the web page but am unable to sign in. at first, i would put in my information to log in and i would see a message saying i had to enable cookies.. so i did that and i still get that lovely message sometimes and i go to my internet options and the cookies are enabled. -_- but what i usually get now is "you must log on to see this page" after i attempt to log in.
i know my log in information is correct because i am able to log in on my android, so that is not the problem. also, i have restored the internet settings to how it originally was and nothing. another problem that i had, which i mention just in case there is some correlation to the problem at hand, is that i was having problems logging into my gmail and Internet account. the problem was that i was checking the box for "stay signed in." so when i didn't check that box i was able to sign into both. oh and i am trying to refrain from using any other web browsers because some have told me that it is easier to get viruses and that they cause unnecessary problems that may easily be avoided.

In Win 7 Home Premium, I apparently did something wrong as I can no longer access the administrator account on my desktop. I am logged in as a guest and have tried just about everything suggested here. I have started in Safe Mode but can't access admin. I have used the installation disk to do a repair and used the activate command in the command prompt. I used the "enableadmin" mentioned on this site. Regardless of what I do here, when I restart I am back in Windows as a Guest. Even doing a system restore made no difference.
It would appear I have to do a clean install but before doing so thought I would ask to see if there is anything else

Many times I have seen the "Access Denied" error while using an administrator account.Especially in disk management utility when I tried to edit disk partitions but couldn't even with administrator privileges.This is not a specific case - I just want to know how, even with administrator privileges, there are still restrictions (access, modify or change)And what can I do to bypass those restrictions?

I am having troubl with changeing anything in my User Account Controls. Every time I try to access the tab I just get an error message saying that "Windows cannot find" followed by a long line of numbers. I am a little concerned as I noticed, according to Belarc Advisor, that I suddenly have a mysterious user on my windows called "UpdatusUser" and has apparently logged on 399 times!

So I am using Windows 7 and I made an account for my nephew so he can use without nagging me about entering in a password. But I wanted to make it so that he cannot download anything or edit any files on the C: Drive without a admin password. I changed the security settings on C: so that it will not allow anyone who is not Admin to access any files in the C: folder. My problem is that it locked everyone out of C: ... Any UAC settings or account settings cant be done.
My account is an admin and anytime it try to access anything or run anything as administrator, It says Access Denied. (BTW I never get a prompt to put in an admin password). So I went on safe mode and made it so that the Built in admin would show and I logged on it. I opened an elevated cmd and tried to change the uac settings.. but all I get is an Access Denied! I don't know what to do and I do not want to have to reset the whole computer. I cannot use system restore because it says access denied.

How do i access the already built-in administrator account so i can make security/privilege changes so that i can change time servers using the command linebecause every time i use the NET TIME command it gives me a "access denied" error; which tells me something, only Im not sure what needs to be changed. Also, it says I already am a administrator so why is it giving me a access denied message?
