Scanner Hasn't Found Anything

I'm not really sure what is going on with my computer lately. Everytime I use my computer and go online, it works fine for a little while and then suddenly it slows right down and everytime I try to go anywhere it just says not responding and freezes up. The only way to fix it is to restart, and then it will be fine for a bit and then starts acting up again. I also can't see my emoticons in windows live messenger anymore either. It just shows whatever you type to make it but not the actual emoticon. I think I have a virus but my scanner hasn't found anything.

Windows 7 Home Premium, service pack 1, Acer Aspire 5755, Intel Core I5-2430M CPU, 2.40 GHz, 64-bit operating system (new computer for me).I have a wireless Kodak ESP 7250 AIO and my new computer cannot find the scanner. I have uninstalled the printer software and reinstalled it, drivers and firmware are current from Kodak website, have run the compatability troubleshooter and followed recommendations, scanner worked fine with Windows XP on old computer. Going nuts and very upset

as usual I turned off my laptop and after a while a turned on again to use my laptop but it couldn't reach operating system and showed error : " OPERATING SYSTEM NOT FOUND" !
I tried all instructions to solve the problem and finally run by windows start up CD to re-install new windows. this time I faced error: " No drivers were found. click load driver to provide a mass storage driver for installation"

I've installed my printer under windows7 using microsoft standard software.
My printer/scanner is connected using ethernet.
For a long time there was no reaction from HP to support
their scanners . As far as I can see there still is no reaction ....
Could someone advice me on how to connect the canner to windows 7

I'm not realy a fan of the HP software anyway ..

When selecting Epson Scan, I get the following error message:
'Cannot communicate with the scanner'
I have turned the printer off and back on again. Removed the power lead and plugged back in.I have removed the USB lead and tried it in other ports, without hubs. I have also tried a brand new USB lead.If I use PaintShop Pro X2 and select Import > Twain Acquire > I get the same message plus another message - 'No scanner Found', but if I select Twain source, I get the 'EPSON NX130/SX130/TX130/ME 340.
I can use the printer and copy functions with no problems, so, I am assuming it may be something to do with the OS - Win 7 32 bit as I have tried using WIA and get the same results.

I have Epson 4490 scanner that is connected to one computer running windows 7.In the same room I have another computer using windows xp.I want to be able to use the scanner on both.I have tried to install the software on the xp one,but it will not open the scanner.Just says it cannot be started.Is there a way to share the scanner between the rwo,or how can I get it installed on xp?

I am suddenly faced with a problem, which has never appeared before.I have a HP Scanner [Scanjet 5530] which since having moved from Windows XP to Windows 7 has until the last couple of days appeared as a DEVICE, and has been workable.However in the last couple of days it has disappeared from the list of Devices and its only by switching it's power supply off and on does it comeback.I can then use it for whatever needs to be done, but as soon as its not needed it disappears yet again.

I know I should pick channels 1,6,or 11 but not having any device other then my ps3 I cant run a channel scanner. I have no idea what my neighbors wifi's channels are should I just leave my routers channel on auto as it is always changing wifi channels my guess it's got a built in scanner I don't know if thats true it's a cheep belkin N150 or should I just go for a shot in the dark and pick one of the 3 channels?

I have 2 all-in-one units connected via network, to 3 computers running Built 7057, 64bit.. 1. Samsung CLX-3175 - The 64bit printer drivers install well. The Scanner drivers and utility won't install. 2. HP3310 - Same story. The printer drivers are fine, but the Scanner utility won't install. I can access the scanners via their IP address and scan on line... but I cannot access any computer from the scanners themselves.

I am having trouble getting a scanner to work with windows 7. The computer recognises the printer but not the scanner. I have tried 3 different multi-function printers with the same result. Using a HP Photosmart C4480 an error message 8,[(02-21474672590] comes up. I thought i might need to re-install windows 7 as re-installing the printer drivers does not solve the problem - or could it be a hardware problem, although I have tried plugging in to 2 different USB ports on the computer.

I have a 64 bit Win7 OS and I need drivers for a Lexmark 3200 printer and a Mag Innovision DTS 3060 scanner.Neither the printer nor scanner are usb. The latest drivers for them seem to be for either XP or Vista, depending on which web site your'e on.

I am looking for scanning software for an older scanner. On the front it is labled HP scanjet ADF. On the back it has a model #of C5195, however there is serial # sticker that shows a # C7670A. I couldn't find either of these model #s listed on the HP website. Were can I find software for this scanner.

Epson scanner GT-1500 stopped working with some programs. Wiped all drivers and reinstalled latest version of Epson software. Adobe and some Espon programs not seeing scanner. Scanner works with Paint and Omnipage, so I know it's not the scanner. Worked with MS and Epson and of course they point fingers at the other. how to get the scanner working with all programs again.

I'm looking for new scanner (25+ ppm) that will work w/7. Scantastik store claims nobody (fujitsu, canon, xerox, etc.) will work yet - drivers not available until year end. Does anyone know anything differently? I was able to get my HP officejet 7000 printer to work.

I cannot scan, either from the computer or from the Kodak ESP 9 AIO printer. Have spent days chatting with a technician to no avail. I have re-installed the software, after deleting it, a number of times. Finally, I called on the phone today. Although this technician had access to the chat notes we did the installs again. Either they don't know their product or I have a hardware problem although the scanner bed moves and I can make copies OK. Is there anything I can do further?

So I have a fairly old scanner (Canon CanoScan 3000f) that doesn't have any 64 bit drivers.So I tried a program called VueScan but it doesn't work with my scanner, and neither does another thing called SANE (Scanner Access Now Easy).Pestering Canon for a 64 bit driver failed,So anyway, the only solution I can think of is installing a virtual machine with 32 bit, but it's too troublesome to have to start up a virtual machine just to scan something, and then go through all the trouble of transferring the file from the virtual PC's hard disk to the host HDD.Is there any easier solution? Maybe a universal scanner driver for 64 bit Windows?
