Missing The Mail Recipient Option In The Sub Menu Off Send To?
Mar 16, 2012
I am missing the mail recipient option in the sub menu off Send To. I have checked that it is in the send to folder and it is in the shell. The other user on the computer can do this. So I copied that icon and replaced the one that was not working. Same result. I have checked the program defaults. I am using Windows 7 and Outlook 2010.
One of our customers has a problem when trying to use this method.
When he right clicks a document (whether it's .pdf, .doc etc etc) and clicks "Send to", and then clicks "Send to mail...", the only thing that happens is that a empty dialog box appears, with the title "Error", and a confirmation box that says "OK".
When he then clicks "OK", nothing happens.
I played around a bit with default programs and associations, and ended up with removing the "Send to mail..." option completely.
I have tried to right click --> send to --> send to mail on my own computer, and it works flawlessly.
The user is running Windows 7 pro on a Dell Latitude E4300.
The default mail program is Lotus Notes v. 8.5, but Outlook is also installed and is associated with all e-mail options except the "mailto:" protocol and the ".mapimail" filetype. These two are associated with Lotus Notes.
The user wants to be able to send documents by using this method, and use it so Lotus Notes is the mail-program used for right click --> Send to --> Send to mail... option.
Is there any ideas around this problem? Please do not hesitate to ask about more info.
I used to send files to my mobile phone via Bluetooth option in the "Sent to" menu. A few days ago I found out it was missing. A further few days back, I reinstalled my bluetooth software as its tray icon was missing I have reinstalled bluetooth software but still the "Sent to -> Bluetooth" option is missing and I couldn't find the option to enable it.I am unable to send files via bluetooth unless connected to PC Suite.
In Windows Live Mail (pop3) I want to create a rule so that if the sender is not in my contacts/address book the email is sent to the Junk Folder. The Rules menu does not seem to offer this very simple option for sorting junk mail.
I've loaded Windows 7 and Office 2003 on my desktop. However whenever I try to Route Recipient from Word it start by giving me a message that says.A program is strying to access e-mail addresses you have stored in Outlook. Do you want to allow this? If this is unexpected, it may be a virus and you should choose "No".I respond to Allow access and then choose a recipient from my address book to send to only to receive this message.General mail failure. Close Microsoft Office Word, restart the mail system and try again. I've tried closing word and Outlook and restarting them with no success. I've researched and found this problem when Vista was first released but the registry entry fixes identified as work arounds there don't work. how we can still use the routing recipient in Word 2003 while in Window 7.

I located the SEND TO folder, and deleted the fax option, and added a folder I wanted. Both of thes options appear in the send to options list when I right click, and the folder works that I added. After searching the internet the only help I found for adding my default printer, HP 8600, like I did in Win XP told me what I alredy knew.So i opened the DEND TO folder and Dragged/Dropped the Default Printer into the folder and created a shortcut there. So far so good. The printer option appears in the FOLDER, but does not appear as an option when one right-clicks on a doc. I tried a reboot of the system, but it remains the same.
if it is possible to change to send to menu to a move to command? For Reference: [URL]
That is a small, easy tutorial to add a move to menu to the right click context menu, but it still isnt what I want it to do.
I do not want to have to hold the shift key when I right click and send to whatever location I have in the send to menu. I also do not want to have to tell it where I want to move the file each time using the method shown in the above link. I simply want to my computer to just move the file to the location in the menu instead of copying it there. Can this be done? Am I asking to much of my operating system? I am running windows 7 Ultimate x64.
I found a good tutorial on removing all letter drives from the Send To menu. But I want to only remove the CD Rom drive and still have USB drives displayed in the menu. How can I do this?

Recently I've disabled hibernation ( powercfg -h off in cmd ) on my computer coz I'm using an SSD and I wanted more space. Now I wanna have it back ( powercfg -h on in cmd ) but the option to hibernate does not show up in start menu.I can choose to hibernate after clicking power button in power options and hibernation itself is working.
during the setup I have no "advanced" option at the partitions menu which must contain the, formatting option. I have the partitions menu and only two buttons under it: "Refresh" and "Load Driver"

All of my attempts to contact MS about this have resulted in being referred to a different MS forum. I am not getting a response. Can anyone provide direction? This a real drag. I do not like using my ISP email address as default for sending.

My Windows live email will not send. I can send emails most of the time accept for when live mail is locked up with ine of these 'sent' emails that won't go. The sent emails appear in my sent mail, but a check on webmail shows that they have not actually sent. Sometimes when I close down my computer and start up again, I find that the emails have then be sent.
