How can i get multiple epson artisan 50 printers to print at the same time, using windows 7 I have them all installed properly. When the second job goes to print, they all slow down then stop.

View 2 Replies View RelatedUsing Windows 7-Ultimate 64 on an Acer 4530 laptop. This is a personal machine and is not networked except via wifi to my router, and via BT to a single printer. I leave the printer and BT off unless I have to print something, as I don't print daily.
Problem: When I go to print a Word doc (for example) there are multiple instances of printers named like this:
Canon Printer
Canon Printer (Copy 1)
Canon Printer (Copy 2)
Many times I have gone into Printer & Devices and removed all instances of the Copies, making the "Canon Printer" entry the only one, and set as default... but the next time I go to print (which might be a week later), I have multiple instances again.
How can I stop Windows 7 from creating copies of my printer profile?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have Windows 7 os and an Epson Stylus SX415.I can print perfectly in A4, but when I try to print a page smaller than A4 ie: A5, A6 and labels, the printed area does not fit the paper properly - it is too big.And 'shrink to fit' does not work to make it fit the page. I have tried running MS troubleshooter, updating the latest drivers, uninstalling and reinstalling software and driver.

The printouts I am receiving are in Windows Basic Graphics format, but I would like them to be high quality. The problem seemed to occur when I was running a software facility which was set up for printing out on to templates. A message appeared on the screen saying that Windows 7 did not support this driver and would revert to Windows Basic Graphics when printing out. I have reset my computer to the factory default but this does not appear to have done anything. The printer I am using is an Epson SX125.

My intention was to install all 5 - with unique names and just share them. Easy?BUT only one printer will install. When I plug in additional printers - nothing happens since the drivers were installed for the first printer.How do I get Windows 7 to "see" the others and uniquely address the USB port that it is plugged into.Worse yet, I only have 2 USB ports on the laptop, so I need to use a hub.

I followed someones advice on reinstalling it completely but that didn't work. I downloaded new drivers but when I run the printer software I get the following error message - "Epson does not recognize the OS. Epson PhotoStarter is not compatible with operating systems earlier than Windows 98. Installation was canceled."
I have no idea why it would refer to an earlier version of windows??

I have an Epson Artisan 725 which prints on CD/DVD and is network connected. Inoticed a few days ago that this device can not print 3X5 cards. In addition, it can not print on 3 hole paper. Was wondering if I was missing some setting, or if Epson has abandoned this type of format. If Epson has abandoned it, that is a real shameas 3X5 cards are the most popular index card out there.

The printer was not in the default list of printers, so I got the driver fro the Epson website ( used the Vista driver ). It appears to install correctly on port LPT1, and the printer then appears in the devices and printers window, but if I try a test print , nothing happens, If I try to print a text document I get an error message saying that the printer is not configured correctly !
Any ideas ?

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have an Epson Workforce 840 printer. I replaced the black ink and the cyan with refillable cartridges and reset the cartridges. Everything printed fine. Then a month later, the magenta and yellow were running low so I replaced those cartridges and reset those with the rest of the replacement set I installed earlier that included the black and cyan. I checked the print levels and all of the cartridges are showing as full, both on the printer's display as well as from my computer (I am printing from my Mac Powerbook and my kids' Windows 7 laptops). I then did a nozzle check and a print head check, and now only the black prints out. I try and print a lined/ruled paper from the printer's onboard control panel that should print in cyan and it comes out blank.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI've tried the Photo viewer in Windows 7 and it is not a patch on the old XP photo viewer in the ease of being able to print multiple photos.In the XP you could click on any thumb nail and then Print.This then brought up all your thumbnails and you could make a multiple selection by ticking the wanted thumbnails.This is not possible in Windows. In order to print multiple prints of thumbnails you have to rename the thumbnails so they are in order in the file. Troubleshooter indicted a HP Photosmart C310 driver was missing. I went to Device Manager and every entry under Other Devices was missing their drivers. The C310 printer, the SM Bus Controller and the Ethernet Controller. Windows Update was unable to find and install any drivers. Why all the Other Device components lost their drivers at the same time?

I got the idea when friends come over and I have no second / third / possibly fourth machine for them but since my machine is such an overkill I was thinking about sharing the machine with multiple people. However I am not sure if this is possible and if it is how to.
What I basicly want is: I have 1 central machine , 4 monitors , 4 keyboards , 4 mouses. Each of those require their own login and take part on the central machine.
I forsee the problem for identifying the screen/keyboard/mouse (possibly sound). But maybe it is possible.
I am wondering if there is a method or tool to view multiple time-zones in windows 7, I can do it on XP if I add the timezones application for windows XP. but I think maybe in windows 7 you might be able to do it within the OS like gadjet or something. if someone has done it or have an idea on how to do it, I would appretiate your help, thanks!
PS: the reason I want to do this, is I have friends from many places in the world and would like to check the time in a number of locations, instead of having to calculate everytime it would be nice to just see the time in those locations directly!

and i also have an internet connection which i can use it in my laptop..
but the problem is that i can't use them both at once...

I have my printer installed in my work domain PC. I try to print one page, and then after this my print spooler stops working. I have to start it manually, and after another page printed, it stops again. It's so annoying to start it after each print.

The printers work and are all displayed from Word, IE, etc, but only one printer shows up in Windows 7 Devices & Printers - usually whichever is selected as default printer. If I remove the displayed printer, it shows me another one. When I first installed, it showed me all the printers, but problems started after I had to remove and reinstall my printers.

View 3 Replies View RelatedWindows 7 Home Premium 64bit Control Panel -> Devices and Printers show some printers (PDF995 and Microsoft XPS Document Writer) but it does not show my HP OfficeJet 4500. Applications (like IE or Firebird) show it in the list of printer and can print to it.
Edit: I forgot to mention, I am running in the Administrator account and both the laptop and the printer on the same WiFi router. The printer showed up in Device Manager after I clicked Display Hidden Devices (kind of silly to hide devices from the Administrator.)
