Epson 840-Replaced Cartridges And Now It Won't Print Any Color
May 21, 2012
I have an Epson Workforce 840 printer. I replaced the black ink and the cyan with refillable cartridges and reset the cartridges. Everything printed fine. Then a month later, the magenta and yellow were running low so I replaced those cartridges and reset those with the rest of the replacement set I installed earlier that included the black and cyan. I checked the print levels and all of the cartridges are showing as full, both on the printer's display as well as from my computer (I am printing from my Mac Powerbook and my kids' Windows 7 laptops). I then did a nozzle check and a print head check, and now only the black prints out. I try and print a lined/ruled paper from the printer's onboard control panel that should print in cyan and it comes out blank.
How do i disable the feature that says Print cartridges are not compatible on a HP Photosmart C309G Printer. The cartridges fit in the printer but do not have 4 copper contacts on the bottom. That may be the reason they won't work.
I have an Epson Stylus Color 600 (knowing it's an old printer... but I like it)... I had to work really hard to buy a HP laptop with Windows 7 Home Premium..... I also bought a converter cable (parallel to USB). The laptop recognizes de cable, but when I try to add a new printer (using the virtual USB001 port), I can't get the stylus color 600 driver.
program not recognising downloaded material. There is obviously a block somewhere not allowing access to the EPSON Print CD software, but I am unable to unblock it.
Since installing Windows7 over vista last week, my EpsonStylus Photo RX500 will not work. I followed someones advice on reinstalling it completely but that didn't work. I downloaded new drivers but when I run the printer software I get the following error message - "Epson does not recognize the OS. Epson PhotoStarter is not compatible with operating systems earlier than Windows 98. Installation was canceled."
I have no idea why it would refer to an earlier version of windows??
I'm totally lost and need help,PLEASE?
Is there anyone out there who can send me a step-by-step on how to correct this?
I got a new computer powered by Windows 7 which was upgraded to Win 7 Pro. I have it attached to a Xerox Phaser 8400 printer. The printer will not print in color when i use the word pad or Print Master software. It's own self test it prints color so I assume there is a setting I can't find.
HP deskjet 2050 print/scan/copy (not an all-in-one; about two months old.New color cartridge installed and alignment page is ok.Greyscale is turned OFF.Only get black& white prints.....
I have an Epson Artisan 725 which prints on CD/DVD and is network connected. Inoticed a few days ago that this device can not print 3X5 cards. In addition, it can not print on 3 hole paper. Was wondering if I was missing some setting, or if Epson has abandoned this type of format. If Epson has abandoned it, that is a real shameas 3X5 cards are the most popular index card out there.
I have recently installed Windows 7 , and can not print to my Epson Stylus photo R220.
The printer was not in the default list of printers, so I got the driver fro the Epson website ( used the Vista driver ). It appears to install correctly on port LPT1, and the printer then appears in the devices and printers window, but if I try a test print , nothing happens, If I try to print a text document I get an error message saying that the printer is not configured correctly !
I have a scanned file that is black ink, but I can't print it due to my ink. I don't have black ink, so I want to print this document as is just in color is there a way in word or somewhere else?
I am trying to print a disc label on a dvd ,my printer is a Epson stylus photo Px650 .I have the software for the job but when I drag the into the software it says "this is not a epson cd print file.but I have printed dvd labels before with no problems but I can't remember if it was with XP but I am using windows 7 now .The I want to print is a jpeg is there a way to change it to an epson print file? and if so ,how do I do it?
I have Windows 7 os and an Epson Stylus SX415.I can print perfectly in A4, but when I try to print a page smaller than A4 ie: A5, A6 and labels, the printed area does not fit the paper properly - it is too big.And 'shrink to fit' does not work to make it fit the page. I have tried running MS troubleshooter, updating the latest drivers, uninstalling and reinstalling software and driver.
I have three printers.1. Samsung ML-2010 (B&W)2. Epson Stylus Photo PX650. HP Color Laserjet 1600.When trying to Print a Spreadsheet from ExcelThe Samsung prints without any problem. The Epson takes Four and a Half Minutes to produce a print. The HP tells me "Current Printer is unavailable, Select another Printer"Each of the Printers will print a Windows Printer Test Page from my PC.
How can i get multiple epson artisan 50 printers to print at the same time, using windows 7 I have them all installed properly. When the second job goes to print, they all slow down then stop.
I have an Hewlwtt Packard HP Color LaserJet 2840 which is connected via USB to a Belkin PLAY N600 DB router, which is connected to my PC with Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit.
I have been to the HP webstie and it tells me to use the drivers that came with Windows 7.
So in the Devices & Printers window it is there, labelled as HP Color LaserJet 2800 series and when I try to print I get an error.
I'm guessing it is something to do with the driver as I cannot scan at all, it just tells me there is no scanner connected!!
I am experiencing print quality problems which I think is coming from the computer. The printouts I am receiving are in Windows Basic Graphics format, but I would like them to be high quality. The problem seemed to occur when I was running a software facility which was set up for printing out on to templates. A message appeared on the screen saying that Windows 7 did not support this driver and would revert to Windows Basic Graphics when printing out. I have reset my computer to the factory default but this does not appear to have done anything. The printer I am using is an Epson SX125.
I am so frustrated. I have been routinely using refilled ink cartridges in my HP All-in-One Officejet J6450 printer. The last time I replaced both of the ink cartridges I had to deal with getting around HPs by now usual messages and other interferences designed to disrupt my printing experience including having to uninstall and reinstall the printer, and then re-registering it with HP online. (Perhaps I invited these problems by registering in the first place?! Note to self!) But, with this last cartridge change HP has gone too far! I am no longer able to print any document I send to the printer-period! Every time I try to send a doc to the printer the HP Solution Center sends me a message that there is a printer error-yeah, an error that comes from HPs evil end! I know the printer is functioning properly on its own as I can print test pages and make copies just fine.I would love to know what I can do to "unsabotage" my printer. I should have every right to use whichever ink cartridge I choose that does not infringe on HPs patented ink formulas. This feels like a personal attack when my family's and my own work is so arbitrarily disrupted!
I am looking for 64-bit Epson Twain Drivers for Win 7 and Win 8 for Epson Expression 10000XL scanners! Epson did not follow and give a 64-bit version, they stayed at 32-bit...
