Game Fallout 3 And DLC Problem

I cant get my 6 GB of corsair 1600Mhz memory to show it says i only have 4GB... also Fallout 3 and the DLCs are giving me a ton of ***. on canirunit.com it says its my OS and only my OS (((everything in my rig is over kill for thi game))) so it cant be my parts. and it cant be the OS because ive played it perfectly fine 2 times just testing it. all the DLC's popped up when i got out of the vault everything... OR should i just buy the Fallout 3 GOTY? instead? and if so would that even work?

i cant seem to start a new game on fallout 3 on windows 7. it installed ok but it crashes as soon as it starts loading up. tried the d3d9.dll fix and that didnt seem to work.

I have recently bought fallout 3 game of the year edition for my Samsung r580 laptop; it runs on windows 7 home premium 32bit. I have successfully installed the game and can play it for about 2-3 minutes before it crashes. Nothing can get me out of the crash except ctrl alt delete. I have gotten the updated version 1.7 but the problem still continues.

I've just upgraded to Windows 7 Home Premium from XP and while I love the OS for the most part, I am having issues with a slight stutter or hesitation when playing this game. Happens every 3-5 seconds or so and it's just a quick blip if you will. Never had any issues with this title before and I can play Borderlands and Crysis smooth as butter. Anyone know if Fallout has some issue with Windows 7?

Fallout 3 GoTY crashes on startup. Nothing but black screen shows up before it crashes. I bought it on Steam.I was able to play the game from disk and not GoTY, without any DLCs about a year ago on the same system - Windows 7 x64. I bought the game recently because I lost my disk. I've reinstalled Windows in the meantime once.I've got DirectX installed when launching games on Steam, also installed using a webinstall from MS website recently, so it's up-to-date. There is no other game that crashes too. My Nvidia drivers are latest version also.I've tried reinstalling the game but it still didn't work. I've tried deleting F3 folder from My Documents which also didn't help.I've tried compatibility modes and "Run as Administrator" function, neither did help.I haven't changed anything in my hardware so it's not hardware-related.

i have been spending alot of time on this problem, and everything does not seem to work. i have windows 7 home premium 64-bit, with a AMD Phenom II 945 Quad-Core processor. my graphics card is an ATI Radeon HD 5450, with an intergrated sound card and 8gb ddr3 memory. generaly, a problem arises within 20 mins of gameplay (does not matter if im outside or inside), and presents itself either as a crash-to-desktop or a freeze. also i am not playing with any mods or DLC's or with New Vegas i have tried many fixes; i have set the INI to use only 2 (then 1 processor), disabled all autosaves, downloaded/installed the d3d9 file, changed windows color scheme to "basic", i have updated all my video card drivers, i am not aware of any codecs being used on my system (did a file search, came up w/ nothing), running as administrator, allowed all premissions (its even installed in my documents, NOT program files), and even now i still have this problem. however, i can also play Oblivion w/ about 300 mods and i can play pretty comfortably. on top of that (even though i dont have the most recent games) Fallout 3 is the only problem.

Whenever I try to run "EN_Fallout_3_DLC", I get a memory leak problem. My RAM usage is at 97% with 3 gigs of RAM.
The only error message I get is this one.
Edit: Fixed the problem by extracting the files to a different location

I can play Lara Croft, Batman, but i cannot play Portal 2, Fallout 3 nor FEAR3. The games just wouldn't start. I have updated all the video card drivers, but i'm not hitting the solution of this problem.Following is the log from hijackthis:

When I install a game in Windows 7 and Windows recognizes it it dumps the game's shortcut in the Game folder of the Start Menu. That wouldn't be a problem except Windows 7 prevents the game from creating the shortcuts it would have created had the operating system not been Windows 7- things like the game's Read Me, Uninstaller & Configuration options.

I remember playing this game very very long ago. In the game, I was playing a ninja, and looking at the ninja from bird's eye view. There was many chapters in game, and if I remember right, at each end of the chapter, I had to kill a boss, more powerful monster. There was an old man with a beard, and he was giving me lessons, truths about some ninja stuff, life, etc... After finishing the game once, a better mode would be unlocked. We were a more powerful ninja, and able to kill monsters more easily. And it didn't have magnificent graphics, it was like a cartoon.

I recently got Test Drive Unlimited 2 on my Dell XPS 17 and its ridiculous how I can only manage to get 15 FPS in the game. The game lags so much even if I change the graphics to the lowest settings. I checked if my laptop could run this game on Can You RUN It | Can I run that game | Game system requirements and i passed the recommend settings aswelll but I can't seem to be getting more than 15 FPS. As we all know, game compatibility frequently changed from build to build - some games that worked in older builds stopped working, and some games that did not work in older builds work in newer builds. Some of the latter can be attributed to patches put out but the game companies, and some can be attributed to the inclusion in Windows 7 missing components necessary to fulfill the total gaming experience of certain games.
That being said, there are now 2 lists to work with - the other list has been changed to a Pre-release list (and un-stickied), and this is now the official repository of games that work with the RTM. Read more at the forum...

Using a site called canyourunit I tested whether or not my laptop would be able to run a game, it said that I couldn't but the only requirement I didn't meet was my graphics card. So I'm wondering whether it would still run, but just poorer graphics? heres the details

I've stumbled upon a bit of a strange problem with my mouse. When I run a game of some sort my mouse starts to lag after a while, there is no lag in the rendering of the graphics just the movement of my mouse or mouse pointer.This can also occur randomly while just operating in windows without running any game 3D or non-3D, but if I unplug my USB mouse and plug it back in it starts working like normal. I have updated/re-installed the drivers for the mouse, also tried running without the special drivers for my mouse installed thus getting another aero related problem. But it works best with the drivers for the Razer Lachesis installed but as I mentioned before it the pointer starts lagging and if I just unplug and plug it back in it starts working so question is does anyone know what could cause this?

I had a Logitech controller for the longest time but I guess the 1000 times I dropped it caught up with it because its broken. I want one that's slightly like a PlayStation controller because I'm used to that. So that's why I thought of just of getting a Logitech dual pad controller again but a newer version.

I have a new Win 7 set-up, and while I'm currently using my older (yet still great) CRT monitor, I just bought a nice LCD monitor, so I'll have two.I game often, but it'd be great if I could have the game up on one full screen (not sure if it's possible to do this or it must be played in a window) and an application on the other.I understand that I would have to alt-tab to transfer between the two, which is fine, but what I think would be most useful would be to, say, have the keyboard commands for the game (from a text file, .pdf, picture, etc.) on the second monitor, while I play the game on the first. Other good examples would be to have a map of the game (again, a picture found online, not a map from the game itself, to be clear) or spreadsheet of stats up on the second screen that I could reference during play.I ask because my understanding is that there are three modes for using dual monitors in Windows 7. One allows you to run both as one big desktop. The other mirrors the screen, so you have the exact same desktop duplicated. The final has one off and the other on.
This makes it sound as if the only option is to have the game run in a window on one screen and then open the application, picture, whatever sized to the other. What I was hoping for was to have the game fill the entirety of one monitor and have the desktop confined to just the other, and alt-tab between the two.

I am trying to play a game called Tribes: Ascend, which I downloaded from Steam. Unfortunately, it will not run. Earlier today, I deleted some files, including .dll files, to make space for the game (the files seemed useless). I probably shouldn't have done this. First, it popped up with an error that days I was missing a .dll file that was required to play the game, which I think I have fixed. Now, an error pops up saying: "The application was unable to start correctly (0xc0000022). Click OK to close the application." How can I fix this problem?
