I had to install my roxio creator program to watch dvds with sound
Well, each movie *. Rmvb play in BSPlayer, WMP or Media Player Classic or other player it doesn't work, and movies *.Avi, *.Wmv, *.Mp4 or another format to work smoothly. We're writing what exactly it isn't working, the picture is, only the sound of creaking / hissing / buzzing and it didn't hear what they say in the film.I will add that player KMPlayer plays me every type of movie without crashing and dissonance, it is known, it has built its codecsI played in these video player in the movies in other formats and work, so there should be no problems with the player, perhaps the codecs, and something must change in ffdshow audio or somewhere else.I have the latest version of codecs K-Lite Codec Pack,
I have an external USB soundcard (Native Instruments Komplete Audio 6), and it has come to my attention that I am completely unable to play DVDs on my computer when my soundcard is connected. WMP does not give me any error message; it just abruptly stops playing the DVD and the DVD title becomes "Unknown DVD". However, when I disconnect my sound card, DVDs play as per normal.
I've got full sound in everything else and the latest sound blaster drivers. I insert a DVD and play it in Windows Media Player or Center and I get no Audio (*shakes head).
I play the DVD in VLC and it plays and sounds fine, but the Quality of the DVD video in VLC blows.
What's the fix (and why does there need to be a fix) for Windows Media Player? You'd think Windows Media CENTER could at least play a DVD...
All this happened suddenly, I was playing Counter strike and I could hear the back grounds but the dialogues and gunshots could not be heard. After that when I tried some movies, All the dialogues had been gone. I could hear the background music and background sounds but the midtones had been gone.
I tried many media players and different files but all had same results. The funny thing is The audio files are working all right only the video files have the problem. I tried restarting, Tried diff video files and diff players including VLC, Windows media player etc.
I have a problem with my Windows 7 Media Center. When I try playing a DVD on it (does for only some DVDs), it plays the background music and the video, just the voices are gone. I made sure it wasn't just the movie by enabling closed captioning and using a regular DVD player. On the regular DVD player, it ran with everything voices and all. Anyone know what could be wrong? I do have Home Premium so it shouldn't be the codecs I'd guess, but I'm new to this stuff.
After getting my Toshiba laptop, I checked the speaker properties. I did this by right clicking the speaker icon on the taskbar and clicking on playback devices. Then on the resulting window, I double clicked on speakers (My default playback device). In the next window, there was an tab called Enhancements where I could select effects like virtual surround soung, bass boost and loudness equalizer. I recently formatted my computer and since I got it back that tab is missing. Instead of the Enhancements tab there is another tab called Dolby. Under this tab there is just 2 options that i can tick; Audio Enhancer and Disable all enhancements. Is there any way I can get back the enhancement tab that I had before because the effects in that tab really helped improve the sound quality of my laptop? Is it something wrong with my drivers? I tried updating my sound card driver but it still did not work.
Here are my specifications of my laptop if that helps:
Toshiba Satellite L655-PSK1JE05R00XAR Core i5-450M 2.4 GHz 3GB RAM sound card driver is Conexant CX20671 SmartAudio HD
I ordered and downloaded a movie that came in two parts. I could play each part on the computer. However, when I burned these parts to DVD I could not get to the second part to play. So, how can I join these two parts into one larger movie and then burn that to a DVD?I don't want to use the Windows 7 Movie Maker as it doesn't have the proper codecs to play the movie on a general DVD player.
I have got a external hard drive that I am using as a media storage device that has all my 1100 movies on. The problem is that windows Media player is not showing them all for example I have Rose Red Disc 1 and Rose Red Disc 2 and only the disc 1 is showing up and it is also not showing up on my Playstation 3 that I am using for a media server in the living room to play it on my TV why is this happening?
my dvd drive will not play dvds or cds and will not even recognize them in the drive. i have reinstalled the drivers but it didn't help and it says on properties tab that this device is working properly. my laptop is an asus a54c and only 4 months old. my dvdrw properties are dvd a ds8a8sh dvd/cd-rom drive.
I know there is a way to connect my laptop to the TV to watch DVDs but do not have a clue what hardware and/or software is need it.The TV is a Panasonic HD 1080, 42".
it doesn't matter if I use a third party program or the W/7 burn image feature to burn an iso, I end up with a dvd that has written data that can't be seen in explorer. All I can see in explorer is "files ready to be written to the disc > desktop."
I purchased two 128BG USB Flash drives from Ebay that came from China, so i know they are not the best quality. But this is really weird. On one of them can only play four movies, if i copy a fifth movie or more, none of them or al of the rest will not play. The other USB is the same, but that one can hold and play nine movies not more. I tried formatting them the fast way and the long way.
Recently I have been receiving a BSOD, most of which has been while watching videos on my vlc player. I have on the occasion received this error while listening to music on spotify. Below is the error message i get after my computer performs a memory dump and restarts. I am running windows 7 enterprise, service pack 1, with a 64 bit, i have 2 gigs of ram, and a 2.4 ghz processor
lately I have this problem with full HD movies. When I watch them it has these intermittent stops and pixalations specialy if the frame has lots of details and light.I use VLC player 2.1, freshly installed , I have ati radeon hd 4500 with 512ram.Maybe I should mention that I never had this problem before.
It's been a month i bought a genuine Windows 7 Pro 64bit and lately i noticed that my DVD movies are not playing in a perfect quality, the picture is not smooth at all blocky pixels everywhere. I have used a non-genuine Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit before this (i know that's illegal that's why i got a genuine) and the movies were displaying awesomly.I own a Cyberlink PowerDVD Ultra 10 and still no quality enhancements, i have all the newest drivers for all my hardwares. I used shark007 codecs it dindn't help much.
