View 1 Replies View RelatedIt's been some time that I've been experiencing micro-lags during the playback of 720/1080p mkv movies (not all of them). It can be best noticed in the parts of the movie when there's a lot of movement. If I stop the movie and play this part again, the lag is still there. It's not the file's fault because there are movies that I used to watch without any problems some time ago (the same file).

FreeSmith Video Player -- Free All-in-one media player Support Different Media Types Audio, Video, DVD, Blu-ray, all can be played smoothly with the smart FreeSmith video player. It supports almost all popular audio and video formats by default, including MKV, AVI, MP4, MPEG, FLV, WMV, HD and more. Besides, it offers you convenience to play DVD and blu-ray discs.
When the 8MB download completed, Windows 7 said that this type of file is not normally downloaded and can cause harm. But Softpedia had certified that it is free of any malware. ( I normally do not care for these warnings, smug in the fact that I can always restore my system in the event of any mishap and try all software but some people do take it seriously.)
OK, I played Night at the Museum 2 briefly and it did play the BD. ( My computer did not crash )So anyone wanting a free Blu-ray player can try this out.
But let me say, sooner or later you would like to changeover to the regular blu-ray software players which are a class apart. These freeware playerss can only be fillers.
I am having a problem while playing movies in AVI format. Video stop for a couple of seconds after every 3 or 5 minutes. My drivers are up-to-date. Having a laptop with high specifications...so no problem about low specifications and same movies run perfectly on other laptops.
View 1 Replies View RelatedWell, each movie *. Rmvb play in BSPlayer, WMP or Media Player Classic or other player it doesn't work, and movies *.Avi, *.Wmv, *.Mp4 or another format to work smoothly. We're writing what exactly it isn't working, the picture is, only the sound of creaking / hissing / buzzing and it didn't hear what they say in the film.I will add that player KMPlayer plays me every type of movie without crashing and dissonance, it is known, it has built its codecsI played in these video player in the movies in other formats and work, so there should be no problems with the player, perhaps the codecs, and something must change in ffdshow audio or somewhere else.I have the latest version of codecs K-Lite Codec Pack,

All this happened suddenly, I was playing Counter strike and I could hear the back grounds but the dialogues and gunshots could not be heard. After that when I tried some movies, All the dialogues had been gone. I could hear the background music and background sounds but the midtones had been gone.
I tried many media players and different files but all had same results. The funny thing is The audio files are working all right only the video files have the problem. I tried restarting, Tried diff video files and diff players including VLC, Windows media player etc.

View 6 Replies View RelatedI have an HP Probook 4525s, running Windows 7, with a DVD-RW drive. I attempted to open a burned CD-R that had photos on it, but when I stuck the disc in, and attempted to open it, it said it was a blank disc. I was able to open the disc on another computer just fine. I was wondering why I wasn't able to open it on mine.

View 1 Replies View RelatedAt first I burned an audio CD by dragging mp3 files into the writer. Then discovered that the order was not what I wanted, by track number, but was alphabetical by title. Looking at the File arrangement setting I discovered it was indeed set to [artist]-[title].So I changed it to [track] and then burned another CD. But it ordered them by title again. Next, I cleared the mp3 files from CD writer and dragged them back again thinking this must be done after setting the file arrangement. But upon burning the CD, it still was alphabetically ordered by title.I checked the docs and didn't see any reference to File arrangement.

View 7 Replies View RelatedIf I attach a device with video files and play the files on the computer, there is no sound. Sound for other music and video files on the computer does work. I thought initially, maybe Skypes sound settings were taking over, and needed to be changed, and I modified some of skypes audio settings but it had no effect. I did not find the sound controls in Windows 7, that I am used to adjusting in Windows XP

View 2 Replies View RelatedI tried the other night to import some holiday movies and soundclips into Windows 7. The device I used to capture the data was a samsung omnia running windows 6.1, and the sound clips were recorded as MP3 and .wav files.
The Video is a wmp (wave) file.
When I double click, the WMP booted up for the video and then nothing.
I restarted, and tried again. this time, the blue progress circle spun but nothing else happened.
At some point there was a codec error message.
I still find it difficult to think that at least they would have tried to make their own systems work with each other, even at beta! (hotmail is rubbish on WM, yu'd hav thought that there'd be a mobile version). Can anyone shed some light on this?

I have 4 system image discs and a system recovery discs that I burned immediately after booting the machine up for the first time about a year ago. What I want to do is format the drive and use whichever discs I'm supposed to use to reinstall the OS. Is that the right way to do it with a laptop? Which discs am I supposed to use to reinstall?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI've read all the treads explaining how to delete files waiting to be burned to CD, but my problem is that the folder for these files is empty. Not only that, but the message says that they are waiting to be burned to a CD/DVD reader, not a burner. I suspect that I'll have to edit the registry.

All of them work fine on my husbands desktop, which I believe may be Vista (I cannot remember ), but not on my new laptop. I just bought an HP Pavilion with Windows 7. When I put the discs in, my autoplay options are for a blank disc. I decided to go into My Computer and go into them from there and it is saying there are "702 MB of 702 MB" remaining.
