View 3 RepliesI have a Wacom Bamboo tablet and whenever I try to draw online, it uses the Windows 7 Tablet input. I'm unable to make quick marks due to the "flick" and if I hold the pen down for too long, the cursor will spin in a circle and a pop up box will appear, kind of like a right-click. I'd like to turn all of this off- everything that has to do with the tablet that was already installed on the computer, except for the basic Bamboo Driver.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have Windows 7 Professional 32 bit. I have a retail management program that I began running in XP Mode because of hardware compatibility in Windows 7 with the receipt printer, card scanner, etc. I have recently purchased new hardware that is Windows 7 compatible and need to now move from the XP Mode environment to only Windows 7. My software vendor will not provide support as long as I'm running the software in XP Mode and we, unfortunately are in need of their support at the moment. I am just wanting to verify that all I need to do is to uninstall the software while in XP Mode from the Control Panel - after I back up the database of course - and then simply install the software in Windows 7. Is that correct? Will I also need to uninstall the virtual machine since the retail software is the only program we were utilizing the VM for?

View 3 Replies View RelatedI did a system restore to reinstall a program that I had uninstalled. It did not work. For some reason the program was only half heartedly removed, it was still on my PC but fragmented. So I decided to completely uninstall it...however, I cannot. When I click uninstall it tells me this error that it can't find some uninstall file in my appdata folder. The setup.exe for that program also tells me the same thing. So now I cannot reinstall it because I can't uninstall it in the first place! How can I force uninstall it?

View 10 Replies View RelatedSo I've been trying to uninstall a program off of my programs list and it continues to tell me that I am unable to do so because I am not the administrator. My account on my computer is the administrator account and it is the only account on my computer. This is the message it keeps telling me, "You must be an Administrator to remove the application. To remove the application you can log on to an Administrator account or contact your technical support group for assistance." I don't understand why it keeps telling me this because I am the administrator for my computer. I don't know how to go about approaching this problem and fixing it so any.

A program that I am familiar with that affects performance consuming at least half of CPU does not appear in the programs that can be uninstalled. I know it is there because it does show in the downloads located in the start menu. This program creeps in when you download certain programs from the internet such as toolbars if you do not uncheck them. I am usually careful about any downloads but since I enrolled in an on-line college course for my bachelor's certain programs do need to be downloaded.

It shows just fine in the BIOS, in device manager, in My Computer and in Windows Disk Management, in fact I can even use it as storage but for some reason It will not show up as a disk to install Windows. I have tried as IDE in BIOS and AHCI and in AHCI mode it will not show up in the BIOS at all or anywhere, I can only get it to show in IDE mode. It has been fully formatted and has had Windows 7 on it here recently (had to reformat due to some speed issues). Does anyone know a way I can get Windows put back on, preferably in AHCI mode cause Im stuck with a Thousand dollar drive thats good for storage only

I have a Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit computer which I will call the main PC. An HP LaserJer is directly connected to it, and shows up as the default printer. About a month ago, it stopped responding to print jobs. They show up in the "jobs pending" list, but do not print. If I try to print to that printer from another PC on the network, the document shows up in the pending list, but then says "Error" and will not print either. If I connect the printer to a different PC, it will print. If I try to print to the printer connected to another PC from the main PC, it will not print. The print spooler is running. There are only restore points from the past week or so, and this started happening over a month ago
