View 1 RepliesI recently upgraded my PC from Vista to Windows 7. The PC had, and has, 2 users defined. Both of these user-id's are visible when I start Windows 7 and I can log on to either of them. Both are defined as Administrator.When I enter User Accounts via Control Panel I can see the user-id to which I am logged on. However when I select Manage Another Account it does not show the other user-id. Also if I try to Create A New Account from this screen it does not create it and no error message is displayed.I can try to create the same user-id adfinitem and nothing happens.

I am using almost 20 computer connected to my domain successfully those computer are using windows 7 32 bit. Now i trying to connect this 64bit OS to my domain. I created user account. When I try to mention the domain it is giving the error message that " The Domain is not available ". Also while I was creating the use account, I saw the entirely an different wizard for user account. There I was not able to mention the domain name. I was wondering weather I need to change any views or I need to change any settings. I don't know.

Recently I purchased Windows 7 professional 64 bit in order to increase my memory.(My system is 64 bit capable) I followed [1]. I am using USB for installation. I booted the system with USB. Then at disk manager I deleted all the partitions(including recovery ) Then I refreshed and click next and I got an error saying setup unable to create system partition.

Now, when a try to install any 64-bit programs it shows a message of incompatible version of the program with the running Windows, but my Windows 7 is 64 bits.
My computer got the BootMGR is missing problem, which I have had in the past which is not that big. I insert the Windows 7 64 Ultimate disk it starts up everything fine, press repair my computer and it finds the installation. But when I press on it and next it has an error pop up saying "This version of system recovery options is not conpattble with the version of windows you are trying to repair. Try using a recovery disc that i compatible with this version of Windows." If I dont select anything but press next it allows me to look at the screen Im supposed to, but if I go to command prompt or click autmatically repair nothing will be saved or changed. This is the same disc I installed Windows with and repaired it several times. But I did have to reset BIOS earlier so this may have affected something.

View 6 Replies View RelatedI have a number of rss feeds of shops that I buy from on a regular base, and have placed them on my favorites bar. When a particular shop lists a new item the name shows up bold, after I clicked on the new item in the list that drops down and load that page, the name of the feed goes back to normal.
I've done it 100 times so you'd almost expect I would remember... NOT.
One of the feeds didn't seem to work anymore. When new items were listed, the feed name didn't change to bold. So i removed the rss feed from my favorites bar, and deleted it in the favorites list.
I tried to make a new rss feed by going to the shops website, click on the rss feed logo in Windows 'Tools'. That brings me to a rss feed but I cannot click on 'subscribe' anywhere, so the rss feed doesn't work. I had one favorite that showed up as an rss feed in my favorite list but when I put that in my favorites bar and clicked on it it said something like 'no contents' or something.
I recently got a new PC it has Windows 7 Pro 64Bit OS. My old XP box finally died. I have my music drive which is external USB 500 GB drive Seagate Free Agent drive. I used in on my old system. I have about 110GB of music on it. It is my main music drive. I got some new songs that i wanted to add to the drive. I tried to make a new directory and I received a message saying that I don't have permission to create a folder. I tried creating a new folder within my music directory. I can create a new folder within the root of the drive but I cannot create a new directory where I want it. I am an admin on the PC so I even made sure that I was added as a user on the drive when I set permissions and sharing.

The tutorial for creating the bootable XP disc worked great and I would like to have a backup with SP1 on it for my Win7 Home Premium x64 (retail version). I didn't see anything in the Win 7 tutorials, maybe it can't be done with 7, but if it can I would do it so I have the cd with SP1 on it already.
