- I don't find "My Sky Drive" to mount it as locale drive.
- What is the difference between "Documents" and "My files".
- How does the "Sharing" feature works. What does happen with the mails I enter in the formula? who can they access the files? Especially if they don't have a live ID?
- What does "Syncron SkyDrive" is? Didn't understand how it works?

Is it feasible to use more than one cloud system? I was using Sugarsynch but I found it very slow but I used it as it gave me 5GB. I'm now using Dropbox, to backup my mail (eM Client) but I only get 2GB. At this stage I''m still evaluating which one to go for but the question is, will they clash if they are both trying to upload at the same time. or will one take precedence?
I am looking for a small cloud based system that would allow the following activities:Finances (Buy Price, Sell Price, Profit etc..) Is it possible to create a WevDAV server in my windows 7 Enterprise SP1, using IIS 7.5? I have several devices (including iPAd with iOS 5) which need a WebDAV to interchange or save files in a (home) "cloud disk".
I have a Compaq Presario C700 laptop running windows 7 and one day when turning on my pc I have encountered my wireless icon on my taskbar began showing grey with an orange looking cloud over it. I have dove into the system checking everything that I could think of to change it back to displaying properly. i am connected to the interent through a Netgear router and I can access the internet through either 2 ghz or 5ghz band but the icon will not display properly. No matter where I connect to the internet the icon still displays the same way. I thought it may have been my norton internet security that caused the issue I removed Norton and rebooted the icon remained the same I then Installed my Mcafee virus shield. When the problem began I had changed nothing nor had I installed anything to cause the issue. It just began one day.

how to handle USB removable media inside camera. With camera there is no "Safely remove hardware and eject media" option. When Photo camera is connected, a new camera device is installed and GUI window is opened with option to browse or copy photos. But there is no removable storage devise eject button on notification area. The USB removable Storage devise is also present on File Manager Computer left panel but again, there is no mouse right button eject option as normally with removable storage devices. I have checked in on several computers. How to understand. I don't believe that it's camera specific but Camera is Canon S95.
I have a laptop so I do plug into my TV from ever now and then to watch movies and play games but I mean if you have 2 monitors for extend desktop or whatever you use it for whats the point of that? I myself cant think of many uses for such a feature but then I not really thought about it.
Just Curious in whether a lot of the Windows 7 community have tried W8 at all.I really like Windows 7 but I've also been incredibly surprised at how stable and fast W8 is too -- It's primarily based on Windows 7 but it is a bit different. To me it's amazing that Windows 7 has evolved into something that could be used as a competitor to Android on mobile devices / tablets while still retaining features that are still needed on a PC using a "Classical OS".
I'm an IT Major at Boise State University and I often get a lot of people coming to me asking if I can reformat their PC for them. I was just wondering how most IT Professionals are able to reformat peoples PC's. Other then buying a new version of Microsoft Windows for every client, what service (if any) do IT professionals use? I know that Windows 7 Iso's are available online directly from microsoft, so theoretically if the person had their License sticker on their PC, you could reformat it using that. But as far as other software goes, (vista, office, XP, ect....) How do IT Pros do it? I've heard about Technet, but am not sure if thats what it's purpose is for.
Certain online games we play use P2P connections. We are playing from the same network thus have the same IP address. We have opened/forward required ports for the game, enabled DMZ, tried using Hamachi to no avail. Would purchasing a 2nd IP address from our ISP fix this problem?
i've setup a media pc for my family and kids, which boots into win 7 ultimate and then eventually into XBMC. Can i password protect it? What do you recommend?
I am trying to discover if there is a registry hack that will remove the search for computers and search for people links from the search tab on start menu (windows 7)
Im running Teamspeak 3 and I use stereo mix to stream sound to my friends, the only problem is that whenever they talk Stereo mix plays their voice back and causes insane feedback. I have 2 playback devices, my HDMI to the TV and a Speaker output.) I use VIA High Definition Audio as my drivers.
i been experiencing a problem with my computer sending emails to random people from my hotmail contacts .This has been going on for quite a while now and i still cant figure it out.
When I double-click a message to open it from my inbox, the message opens and the people pane appears below the message. The people pane is from my social connector. However, this position is a bad default. The panes should be side by side (left and right) not top and bottom. The marketplace is full of inexpensive laptops with good horizontal resolution and poor vertical resolution. It's bad enough some fool thought to split up the least available screen resources with a top and bottom look instead of going right and left side by side. Then, the rest of Microsoft followed along and shipped the product that way.So, is it possible to alter the view so that the social information is to the right or left of my message when open?
It supposed to be so simple.Trying to set up a homegroup between 2 Windows 7 Pro & Home Prem PCs. Both wired connected to an O2 Router Set up in one but never get the prompt to enter existing homegroup on the other so each PC says it's already in a Homegroup yet they aren't in the same Homegroup.
I can't add my new computer to the home group of an existing computer. When I attempt to add the new computer I get the message:"Peer networking grouping service not running"

I just reinstalled windows and wanted to get a homegroup going for my desktop and my laptop. THe problem is some kid in my complex who was friends with my roommate has created one for some random reason and win7 only wants me to join his. Is there a way i can get his homegroup off of my network? or just make a new one all together?
Following the steps in the Homegroup tutorial on this site, I reach point 7, where it tells me to click on the Join now, button. However, that button doesnt appear on the screens of either machine that I want to network? Opening the home-group troubleshooter, I get a message telling me that some of the problem is network related (yeah?) and these need to be resolved first. I give the machine its head and it comes back with the response that the computers time is out of sync, on both machines. However, clicking on apply this fix, brings forth yet another screen saying Troubleshooter has completed, but was unable to fix all issues and that the problem is that my systems time differs from standard local time? I have visited the bios on both machines and made sure the times are as identical as I can get them. Ive also checked the time in control pannel.
